50 IS NOT OLD | A HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE FOR YOU | FASHION OVER 40I spent most of the day on Friday scouring several of my favorite websites looking for Christmas presents. NO, I am not looking for “me,” but I will admit that I did place an order for a couple of pairs of shoes for me while I was looking for others. LOL! It is funny how that seems to happen every year. I am sure that most of you are like me and you have “those” people on your list that you have no idea what to give them. Who is your problem person? Mine is probably Joe. You would think that I know him better than anybody, so I would have an insight into what to buy him. The problem is that HE will buy anything and EVERYTHING he wants before I even get the chance. So, let’s start with the men in our lives. Here are some pretty awesome gift ideas for you. These are things that Joe has either loved in the past or has mentioned recently. I can tell you that the cashmere beanie is a gift that he got several years ago and he LOVES. If he can’t lay his hands on it, then he will panic, and we have to turn the house upside down until we find it.

You gurls all know that I love my beauty products. I also love giving the gift of beauty to others, especially to some of my nieces who are really into makeup.

I have friends who love to host parties. Here are some of the items that I would consider gifting to them.

And, for the homebody, I have a list for you too.

I am a “sit by the fire” kind of girl. I love a snuggly warm set of pj’s so I might have spent a little more time on this section that I needed.

When it comes to the kiddos, I usually ask their mom’s. BUT, there are a few things that I do want to mention. Of course, I want to mention my sister’s books. I promise you that these are great (not just because she is my sister) and even Amazon agrees with me. They have picked both of her books as books of the month, and her latest one just got picked as one of the books of the year in its category. Last in a long line of rebels was the first one and Hope in the Holler is the second one. Also, if you have a granddaughter, Plunder has a line of jewelry just for the “little ladies” on your list. Go here to shop from there.

Whew, my fingers are worn out and my eyes are tired. I have shopped all day for you gurls and I might have placed an order or two for myself. Lol! Joe said that he doesn’t like this part of my “job.” Lol!!!
