City Lips Night Oil, A New Product That Has Me Obsessed
As a blogger, I get a lot of opportunities to try new products before they launch. Some you eventually hear about from me, and others are never mentioned. I don’t like everything I try for various reasons, but every now and again, I run across a new product that has me obsessed.
City Lips Night Oil By City Beauty
Today is the launch of City Lips Night Oil!!! This is the sister product of the Best Selling City Lips Plumping Gloss.
I’ve used City Beauty products for a while, so when they asked me if I was interested in trying their new City Lips Night Oil, I was excited to give it a try.
City Lips Plumping Lip Gloss was the first City Beauty product I tried. My friend raved about this product for several years before I decided to give it a try, and now I love it too. I even tried using the City Lips Gloss at night when I slept because I would wake up with moist lips. But, there was a small issue with that…the fuzz from my blanket would get stuck in the gloss.
The first question I asked City Beauty when discussing the night oil was if fuzz would stick to it. Lol! They thought that was a funny question to ask, but they assured me I would wake up fuzz-free. They were right, and I’m now obsessed with this liquid gold product.
City Lips Night Oil is a soft, exfoliating formula that leaves my lips feeling hydrated and moisturized. The formula goes on like silk, and don’t tell City Beauty, but I’ve been using this in the morning too. The ingredients and lip applicator help to exfoliate your lips, leaving them soft and subtle.
I couldn’t pronounce some of the ingredients if I tried, but the one that caught my attention is referred to as the “kiss me quick” extract. That rejuvenating ingredient helps to restore volume and firmness in lips for a youth-looking shape and contour. The other ingredient I was interested in was Meadowfoam Estolide. That has excellent water-binding capabilities to help increase hydration and moisture retention. Since the lack of moisture in lips can cause premature thinning, I was thrilled to see this ingredient listed.
Don’t let the “plumping” statement scare you. This product doesn’t tingle or burn as some plumping products do. But, you will wake up with lips that feel hydrated and smooth. The results are immediate and long-term, and I’m looking forward to smoothing out my lip lines and wrinkles.
I was not about to go to Phoenix without taking along my City Lips Night Oil. Even the dry desert air didn’t leave me with dry/chapped lips, thanks to City Lips Night Oil. My husband, however, kept asking me for chapstick since his lips were so dry. Lol!
I asked for a special discount code for my readers since I knew you would be interested in trying this too. Use this code to get 15% off sitewide – TANIA15
I appreciate City Beauty for allowing me to be one of the first to try this new product and tell all of you about its launch. And, a BIG thanks to all of my readers for supporting brands that allow me to bring you new and fresh ideas.
I LOVE City Lips lip gloss and experienced the same issue when using it at night but the benefits of waking up with such soft lips far out weighed the ‘fuzz’. After this review, I am so excited to try their oil!! Wouldn’t have done so without you 😉. Thank you!
Happy Birthday Joe.
Tania, well you sold me! Read your review and bought two bottles, one for me and my BFF. Can’t wait to receive!
Thank you for all the effort that goes into these reviews. You’re my “first read” every morning!
And….Happy Birthday Joe!
Jo, be sure to let me know what you and your friend think about it. I love hearing back from y’all when you try something I recommend.
Do you think you need to use both the lip gloss and the the lip oil or can you get the benefit from just the lip oil? I’ve been looking at City Lips and curious! Thanks for the tips!
They are different products. But, if I was only going to buy one of them, I would probably buy the lip oil.
Happy birthday to Joe! Hope he gets some golfing weather soon!
Happy birthday Mr Joe
I went straight to the City Beauty link to purchase…but there’s no lip oil listed on the site!! Their search engine doesn’t work either. Sorry Tania, but I wasn’t impressed.
Ann, this is a soft launch. You need to click on my highlighted link to view the product. It isn’t available to the general public yet.
