I had the best time this afternoon. My DIL and I took the grandchildren up to a small park that has lots of wooden playground equipment for them to play on. They ran and screamed, they swung on swings, slid down slides, and even came down a pole from the second floor of the playhouse. They were worn out by the time that we were ready to go to the house.

Like all good times, they must come to an end. The grandbabies were not happy about having to leave, so I promised them that we would stop on the way home and get them Subway. They LOVE Subway and immediately started talking about what they were going to eat. All of the way home, Beckham kept saying, “I want to do that again.” It was a good day, and I agree with Beckham, “I want to do that again!”

I’ve been wearing so much black or black and white, that I thought you might like to have a dose of color. This bright pink balloon sleeve blouse is a huge pop of color, and I like how it makes my face glow. The v-neck and the bishop-style sleeves are flattering, and the top camouflages a lot of my flaws.

I promise that I am not doing this on purpose, but the blouse is down to only XS and S sizes. It is on sale, so the larger sizes go the fastest. I’m wearing a medium in the top, and I might could have worn the small since it is plenty roomy. I think that I am going to start posting what I have placed on order for upcoming sessions, and then you at least have a chance to grab something for yourself before they all sell out. If I can find anything similar, I link to it below.

Look at the Lillia Butterfly pendant necklace in Rose Pink Kyocera Opal. This is a brand new collection that just launched in time for Mother’s Day. The butterfly was my grandmother’s favorite type of jewelry, and this necklace reminds me of her. I paired it with the Davis gold multi-strand necklace. This necklace has three strands, but I removed one of the strands and only wore two of them.

The loose fit jean is growing on me more and more every day. I love not counting the dimples on my legs that might have been visible in some of my skinny jeans. Lol! You might recognize these jeans from when I wore them with a beautiful yellow sweater. I sized up to a 31 instead of my normal size 30. I size up because the higher rise jeans waist can be too tight on me since I carry a lot of weight in the tummy area. Yay, me… The jeans are cut slimmer through the hips and thighs and then fall straight to the ankle. That creates body balance and is very flattering to almost everyone.

This Dooney & Bourke domed crossbody handbag is perfect for running around town. I love the small size that is great for not weighing you down, but big enough to hold money, credit cards, a phone, a mask, and lipstick. You know, all of the essentials. Lol!

The handbag is available in red or soft blush color, but I am partial to the white. The bag is white pebbled leather with brown leather trim, and it goes great with my Tory Burch ballet flats. I also added a brown belt to my look to tie the outfit together. Everyone needs a brown and a black belt because you never know when you might need one. Here are some that are similar to the one that I am wearing.
