AN EASY FALL STYLE FOR RUNNING ERRANDS
Monday started out great. I was up, dressed, and out of the door by 10:00 am, and that was a record for me. I went to work so that I could reconcile the bank and then do the payroll reports. I actually had to do two months of reconciliations since I couldn’t get it to reconcile last month. But, this time, it went smoother, and I got both months reconciled and the payroll reports done by around 4:00 pm. I was feeling kind of sassy about my accomplishment.
By the time I reached the house, I realized that I hadn’t eaten a bite all day. So, I fixed a bite to eat, and I sat down to start on today’s blog post. That is when a massive headache started. UGH! After about an hour of hurting, I decided to take some aspirin and go to bed for an hour to see if that would knock it out. It didn’t work… So, today’s post is going to be different. Not a lot of chit-chat, and just the facts instead. Some of you might actually enjoy this style more; you just never know.
For today’s easy fall style, I am showing you my running errands look for fall. I did a summer errands outfit here if you would like to give that a look. My stats are, I’m 5’6″ tall, 150-160 weight, I normally wear a size 10 in tops and bottoms, or a medium-large, a size 12 in dresses, and a size 9 in shoes.
This long-sleeve crewneck super soft sweater is in the color Jade. It is very soft, a great length, and machine washable. I am wearing a large so that I could wear it later over a button-down shirt. It is slightly large on me, so I might prefer a medium instead. This sweater is available in 8 colors, and I ordered several.
The green Jade statement necklace is from Chico’s. This necklace is special and looks so expensive. If you’ve never checked out Chico’s accessories, you need to go right now. They are so beautiful, well-made, and unique! As a rule, I usually steer clear of jewelry from clothing brands and stick to jewelry stores instead. However, Chico’s jewelry is an exception to that rule.
This triple strand long necklace is also from Chico’s. The necklace is gorgeous in person, and the detail in the beads is beautiful. The beads are mostly wood and resin, so the necklace is lightweight for such a large piece. This is a great necklace for fall.
This is a classic pair of Chino’s, but in the Girlfriend cut. I haven’t worn chinos in a while, so I thought that I would give them a try. I love the girlfriend cut since it is more forgiving than a lot of styles, and it tends to run a little on the big side. So, instead of my usual size 10, I ordered a size 8, which fit great. These pants are available in three other colors.
Neutral shoes can go with anything. They make your legs look longer, especially when they have a pointy toe. I love my high heels, but a kitten heel is something that most people can wear. I ordered my usual size 9 in these, but I feel like I should have ordered an 8 1/2. This has happened to me several times when ordering from J. Crew, so maybe I should have figured this out by now. These suede kitten heels also come in black, which would also go with almost everything.
Yesterday I mentioned that I would love for you to join me in my R+F skincare business. I saw a post from one of my “gurls” who decided to join me in business, and I thought you might like to hear from a perspective other than mine.
I hope that you have enjoyed today’s post and that you will tell all of your friends about my blog.

Love that color on you! So put together.
Love this outfit!
For some reason the links aren’t coming up to the clothes you had on in today’s blog. Where did the soft jade sweater come from?
Never mind, it came up right after I wrote this.
Tania that sweater is lovely on you. I think I may need it! You need some me time today….you worked much too hard yesterday. Love your fun posts and hope you are feeling better after that nasty headache yesterday!
The color of the top is gorgeous and both necklaces are beautiful with it. I like seeing people out and about, running their errands and shopping, looking like they have put a bit of thought into how they look to the public. It looks like they have some self respect!
Lol! I “usually” am dressed if I go out in public. I’m not sure if it is self-respect or vanity. 🤦♀️
