ANKLE BOOTS WITH A ROCKER VIBE
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and got everything you were asking for. If you are like me, you already had everything that you needed and probably need to get rid of things to make room for more things. Lol! I can remember my parents not wanting anything for Christmas when I was younger, and I thought they were crazy. As a child, I could make a list of 20 things that I could ask for easily. Now that I am older I have a hard time finding anything that I want.
Today I am on the road traveling to Tennessee. We celebrated Christmas in Virginia with Joe’s sister and her family. It was the first time in a very long time that we got a family photo of all of us together. There was only ten of us but getting all of us to take a photo is like pulling teeth. I am crossing my fingers that we can orchestrate a family photo when we are in Tennessee. There will be a lot more people, so I am not holding my breath. Lol! Did you guys get a family photo of everyone together?
This is my traveling outfit. It is comfortable, and it is warm. You wouldn’t think that you would have to dress warmly if you were going to be in a car for at least 5 hours but Joe and Ashleigh both get hot in a car. So, that means that the temperature in the car will be colder than I would like. This fuzzy poncho was a yard sale find one year when I was in Atlanta. However, the fuzzy, sherpa look is a hot trend right now. I have a vest that I just got that I can’t wait to show you later.
Have you started to think about 2019? Do you want to change things? A friend of mine contact me a week before Christmas and order some R+F for her daughter’s Christmas present. When she came to pick up the product she told me that she wanted to talk this week about 2019. She said that she had put everyone else before herself for so long that she was tired and was going to change things. Women tend to do this, and that is exactly why I started my blog. We don’t care to spend lots of money on our children and grandchildren, but we will not buy for ourselves. She told me that she was tired of looking like a bum and that 2019 was going to be all about HER. I can’t wait to see her transform. If you are tired of putting yourself on the back burner, then shoot me an email and let’s talk.

Your ankle boots look super comfy. Today I am wearing my newest pair soooo comfy for new boots.
Oh I just love this whole outfit and wish I could find a pancho like that! You look so cute in those camo pants and pretty boots! And I love the jewelry! I wanna see the pics of your family w Joe’s sister. You’ve made such a difference in all our lives!
I…I need a pair like that. U already have a pair! LOL!
Jeannie, I read and re-read your first comment trying to figure out what you were talking about. LOL!!!
Love the look. I think U need a pair of jeans like that. The stars are cute.
I love the stars on your camo! That makes them “holiday”!
Safe travels!!! Love these comments-my husband is from Byrdstown!
Great look and comfy too. I’ll be visiting my family in SC next week to have Christmas. So much fun to have more than one! Enjoy.
Hi, Tania! I retired from teaching in May & I’m ready to work on my clothing & closet. I’ve got a million things, lots of them pieces I see put together in a great way by others. I’m 54 but don’t want to look frumpy or like I’m trying to be 25. I’m also short & petite options seem to be made for the over 70 set. Any ideas?
Thanks so much!
Stephanie
I like the grey camo pants. I’ve been wanting a pair but can’t find them to fit me. I’ll keep looking. Safe travels.
Keep looking, Johnna, because I love this pair!
I love camo print .
I have 2 pair of pants. Unfortunately I can’t wear them because of gaining weight back after losing it. But like your friend 2019 is about me. I’m getting my sexy back!
Rebecca, we might declare that 2019 is the year for US. Isn’t there a television show called, “this is us?” That is what we can call 2019. The year of us!
I love everything about this outfit. It looks very comfy and stylish! Enjoy your trip to Tennesee! I drove home from Byrdstown yesterday! When my mom and I drove through Livingston, on our way to Cookeville,I told her about your blog. : ) Safe travels for you and family!!!
How fun, Mary Lou! I have such fond memories of Byrdstown and I miss the old bridge at the lake.
Your camo looks comfy. Be sure to do your pictures first or you may forget. We realized after the day was over we had missed out on pictures of my husband . Caught up in excitement of playing with our grandchild we forgot. Enjoy family for that is what Christmas is all about.
We tried that this year, Connie! We did get a picture that was decent of everyone. That is HARD when you have a little one. Lol!
My psycho.ogist wears pants that have a slit up the back hem about 3 inches. I have looked everywhere for a pair have you come across any.? They look really nice and tailored
Andrea, I have seen pants with slits in the hem but I am not sure if they are like what you are talking about.
