Announcing The 6 Month Birthday Giveaway
I am so excited to be announcing the 6 month birthday giveaway. I told you, months ago, that I hoped to have a Stella & Dot item to giveaway, so I ordered something. I am going to give you clues. Haha It is BIG, It is Black & White, It is Animal Print, and It is Jewel toned. There, I am sure you know exactly what it is, right? No, well I guess you will just have to wait to the end of the post to find out. Lol!
Have you ever made someone mad, any you didn’t even know you had done something wrong? I usually know when I do something stupid, but sometimes I can be insensitive without even knowing. Recently I hurt someone’s feelings, but I just found out today that I did. In my defense, they took what I said the wrong way. It was not at all what I meant. But, in looking back, I can see how it got misconstrued. So, now what? I am used to having to deal with my Mom or my sister being mad, we just yell and get everything out in the open, then everyone is back all happy. But, that is family. I am used to Sandy or Bertha being mad, but we always get over it eventually. We can fuss or even fight, but if anyone else says anything about the other one, it would be “Katie Bar The Door.” But, I am on unfamiliar ground here. This person is not really my friend, we just have a mutual friend. So, I don’t feel comfortable calling her up and saying, “Oh by the way, that was not what I meant.” Or, “I am sorry I hurt your feelings, I did not mean it the way you took it.” Either way it just sounds off. I guess for now, it will just be left alone, and hopefully she will forget that she was mad.
The problem with that is, I can’t stand for someone to be mad at me. I am not confrontational at all. I will walk a mile in the wrong direction, to keep from having a fuss with someone. I am always the one trying to come up with a solution to keep everyone happy. I would have made a good mediator. My husband is just the opposite. He will pick a fight, just to get everything out in the open. He thinks that if you let something just sit, it will fester and eventually boil. I think if you let it sit, it will eventually go away. You know how in those old western movies, the Indians always had a spirit animal? Well, mine would have been the Ostrich. Hahaha
This is my 4th outfit of my spring series. I like the casual feel to this outfit. I have an “old as the hills” navy linen jacket from Ann Taylor. I don’t even remember buying this jacket, in fact I think my sister might have given it to me because it didn’t fit her. Who knows, but I have almost worn it out, I wear it so much. Here is a cute one on sale at J. Crew, and here is a plus size jacket. This white button down is another shirt I bought at Van Heusen. What I really liked about this shirts, was the cute edging on the sleeves. Here is a similar one, no edging, but it does have ties at the cuff that adds a lot of visual interest.
This is the first time I have worn this necklace and bracelet set. I love, love, love this set. I had several people comment about them. This is the Aventine collection by Chloe & Isabel. The necklace is convertible, it just can be worn shorter, and the bracelet is a wrap bracelet.
When I first got the bracelet, I thought it was a necklace. I took me a while to figure out otherwise. Haha I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer. Lol
I am carrying my Valentina kelly green purse. This is several years old and I bought it at TJ Maxx. TJ Maxx is a great place to buy higher end purses, at a fraction of the cost. In trying to find a similar purse by Valentina, I can tell you that I didn’t pay a quarter of the price I saw them asking. Here is a Dooney & Bourke purse in kelly green, and here is a Vitalio Vera that looks nice. I have on my boyfriend jeans by Old Navy. The only thing I would recommend when looking at boyfriend jeans, is to size down. I don’t mind the legs being fuller, but these are really too baggy around my tummy and waist. I wish I had taken them back and exchanged them. You live and learn. Here is the plus size pair.
Goodness gracious, I need to break out the faux tanning lotion. Put your sunglasses on to look at my leopard print loafers, the glare from my legs might cause temporary blindness. haha I looked in my shoes and tried to read the brand, but I couldn’t make it out. However, there was a price tag still inside one of the shoe’s, so I can tell you that I paid a whole 9.99 for these shoes. Does anyone want to sign up for a shopping class? You can go around with me, and I will show you where to shop for all the best bargains. Here is a similar pair by Lauren Ralph Lauren, and here is a pair by Clarks.
Well, you have waited patiently, so I guess I will finally get around to the giveaway. But, first, I want to thank each of you for reading my blog. It is hard to believe it has been 6 months! Thank you so much for sticking around, and being so kind to me.

Entering to win the bag! Lol. Seriously, I’m loving your blog and sense of humor. You make me smile!
I’m enjoying your blogs. I like that you mix fashion and a bit of you life and thoughts.
Hahaha…………… the dropped letter ( eye ) seems to be with everyone’s post?? I added comments to my post I wrote on March 4th thinking it was just meeeeee.
I follow several blogs for women of a certain age. Yours is the the most enjoyable! You shop where we all shop. You love a bargain and keep your clothes more than one year. You wear a lot of flats and low heels ( seriously how many gurls over 50 teeter around in 3 – 4 inch heels every day? ). You are the woman I’d love to shop with! And I’d adore the tote! Thanks for “keeping it real”!
Morning. Still loving your blog. Thank you for including plus size possibilities in your comments. I am no longer that size but it was frustrating to locate similar styles, etc. I just turned 60 and am loving the bling. Keep up the good word. Thank you for your Christain witness
We seem to have the same motto…never be afraid of color ! Happy 6 months …….

Enjoy your blog. Love the bag too
Tania, I so look forward to your emails every day. I have planned many outfits from what you have featured that day. I, too, am a Virginian and shop at a lot of stores you mention. We do not have a Catos nearby, but on a recent trip to Roanoke I found one and immediately stopped and purchased two scarves and a necklace for an unbelievable cheap price
I love your style, it’s very similar to mine, and I enjoy reading your blog. I check for your email updates daily!
I love your sense of style! Hope you and the friend make up! I’m the same way, can’t relax knowing I might’ve put my foot in my mouth!
Hi Tania! I love waking up and reading your blog! You are adorable and I love your fashion sense! Have a great day!
I love reading your blog – even have my sisters reading it, too! We love seeing your outfits each day and reading about your adventures. Thank you!!! ?
I really enjoy your fashion sense, along with your sense of humor. ? I enjoy thrift stores, consignment shops and bargain hunting. It is so fun to see what treasures can be found to put a nice outfit together, and it doesn’t have to be too expensive. I like that your blog expresses this sentiment as well!
I am new to reading fashion blogs, in particular 40+ and I am hooked! Thank you for taking the time.
Congrats on your 6 month blog birthday!! I love your blog and always look forward to your stories and advice. You are truly a lady with great style.?
Congrats on your anniversary! Found you on instagram. Now an email subscriber. Love the Stella & Dot bag!
Love your blog! One of my daily reads! Keep it up!
I really like this blog as you seem to like the more tailored look that I favor! While I don’t have access to the stores you do (I’m in Saskatchewan, Canada) your great pics give me inspiration! THANKS@
I absolutely love this outfit! The green handbag is the perfect pop of color. Leopard print flats are my favorite go to shoe, not to mention a crisp white blouse ?
Just so you know, I had a million things to do today, but somehow I found myself reading your blog from cover to cover instead!!! I’m so in love with every one of your purses!!! You are a sweetheart!
Love everything about this outfit!
The tote looks fabulous! I always enjoy your perspective on topics…very “upbeat” and fun! I enjoy your colorful style and desire for a bargain!
I recently found you and immediately started following you with a subscription. Love your blog, it’s fun to see someone similar in age, style, and personality to myself sharing their style, ideas, and sense of humor!
Those CUTE blue shoes! Where’d you get them? Did I some how miss them in the post? Also, I envy you the QVC store, what a resource!
Thanks for doing what you do, and sharing it with us!
Love your blog.
LOVE your blog. I love the look of contrasting colors used in putting an outfit together but feel that when I do it looks like I got dressed in the dark. Can you post a blog giving some guidance? Ex. Blue themed outfit with brown animal print shoes. Thanks!
I subscribed yesterday and just realized I forgot to leave a comment. I’m so happy to have found your blog (via Jo-Lynne Shane…who I found via Cyndi Spivey!). You are all an inspiration. Keep up the great work!
I look forward to your blogs and appreciate you writing so often!
I found your blog recently and subscribe to get daily emails. Although I am a few years over 50, I still enjoy seeing the outfits you put together and love to get ideas through that! I used to just throw on jeans and a top and I was ready to go (after applying makeup, of course! Can’t go anywhere without makeup!). Now I am a little more careful to put things together.
Congratulations on your 6 month birthday. Love your blog and the outfits that you style. thanks for giving me a chance to win!
I think what I like best about your blog is that you put together such cute outfits with things from your closet. It also may be because we have much the same taste and I have many similar items. The scariest thing I face putting an outfit together is picking jewelry. I feel I’ve got a lot of jewelry and most of it I’ve either never worn or am afraid to wear. It’s cute when I see it, buy it, bring it home, and then it sits. That situation has gotten a little better since following a few blogs. Another thing I love about your blog is that you show it doesn’t need to be expensive to be stylish and cute. I’m a huge outlet and sale shopper since I don’t work outside the home. if something is classic, I don’t mind the cost.
Love your blog. I look forward to reading it each morning. Happy 6 month Anniversary!
HaPPy 6 month BirTHdaY! Love your blog and cute Tania’isms’.
Happy 6 month milestone blogging anniversary. I enjoy your sense of humor, and I am inspired by your outfits. Your friends are a hoot! Thanks for brightening my days!
Your shoes–too cute. One of my students told me that leopard is the new neutral! Keep up the fantastic outfit pairings!
Hi. I find your blog to not only be inspirational but also humorous. I enjoy your natural posing and background. You are not afraid of color and look terrific in most everything. Thank you for not posing with a red Starbucks cup or a bunch of tulips. You are a gem. . .
I enjoy your blog so much. I am surprised at times at what you put together and it looks so cute and with it. It has given me confidence to mix and match and try new looks. Thank you.
Love your blog!! Look forward to it every morning when I wake up!!
So enjoy your posts. You have grat style!!!
Sherry
I look forward to reading your blog. A lot of great fashion ideas! I love getting the daily email reminders.

I love your blog! I read it daily, I enjoy your sense of humor and style! Keep up the good work!
Love your blog and outfits!!
Hi, I have recently started following your blog. I like your style and love your sense of humor. I am in the process of “reinventing” myself now that I am almost in my mid-50’s (how did that happen??). Thanks for showing us that 50 isn’t old and a sense of humor always can make everything better–or at least more fun.
I’m 60 and loving your blog, it’s for real women and most of your fashion is doable. I live in Australia and we’ve just come into autumn so will have to read your earlier blogs for the season. Keep up the good work of inspiring women I’d love to go shopping with you but it’s just a bit too far to travel!
I just found your blog last week. I spent hours catching up, looking back at all of your post. I love your sense of style! By the way, I am 51.
WOW, that is gorgeous! I love purses. I have enjoyed your blog to much because I feel that you and I have similar fashion interests. You inspire me to dig into my closet and pull together things that look great together and I too love to bargain hunt. You are a classic. I would love to win the purse, the bling, bling is perfect. Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing your life with us, you are real. Have a great evening.
I enjoy your blog and read it every morning. It has given me inspiration to look in my closet more closely and come up with new combinations. Happy six month anniversary!
Congrats on six months! I just started following your blog a couple of weeks ago, and it is quickly becoming one of my favorites! I love your wit and humor as well as your style and your down to earth personality. I too shop for bargains so I think we could be good friends if we lived closer. Thanks for sharing great styling tips and information with us.
Congratulations on the first six months of your blog! I am sure you are getting new readers every day. Love the leopard flats. I have two pair. One pair has sparkles on the heels & the other is a simple pair of flats. I’m all about the animal print. I enjoy reading your blog & getting ideas. I find myself interchanging items from my wardrobe using your ideas. Thanks for reminding us that 50 is not old… Or 51 nearly 52 in my case!
I am with you on the bargain shopping. To me, finding a great deal is half of the fun. If it’s not on sale, I very very seldom buy it. I would love to go shopping with you, though! I would love to have you help me put things together. You are so good at that!!! When can we go?? ?
I just found out that I can wear jeans at work on certain days! I also like to dress up jeans when I do wear them. Wonderful blog!
Absolutely love this outfit. ..you look comfortable and stylish. ..definitely an inspiration to try …as always such a delightful blog and so can relate to yr experiences …Thank You
I own a pharmacy (about to open my second one), Which makes it so easy to get up every morning and just pull on a pair of scrubs and head out the door. However, my new pharmacy is fresh modern and stylish, so therefore I’ve had to rethink my look and style. Your blog info and pinterest pics have been a real help in putting outfits and accessories together.I’m a Nerd, not a Fashionista and need all the help I can get!! I’ll send a pic of my “50 Is Not Old” inspired grand opening attire in a couple of weeks!!!! Thank for the inspiration!!!
Robin Hall-Alion
I look forward to your blog everyday! Thank you!!
Happy 6 months! I love your blog! Thanks for the giveaway!
Love your blog. i never realized that I can shop my closet.
You look always stylist.. I like how you roll. I live in Canada and the weather is cold ( still). Waiting to dress with spring colours soon. Take care Tania.
Love your blog!!
Tania, I love you blog. I already get email notifications, read them and them read them again on FB. I so enjoy seeing how you style your outfits. I am older in age-but not in style-and have used your stles for my own dress for the day. Love, love, love your blog!
I really enjoy your blog and look forward to seeing it each morning! The spring looks are great!
Every time I read your blog….I chuckle. Maybe you and your sister should write a book together! You seem very down to earth and could be a friend to anybody. Bertha and Sandy are lucky to have you as a friend. Love this outfit too. Have a great weekend.
Pinning your look for inspiration! I’m a new follower, and I came across your blog from the ‘Fashion Friday’ linkup 🙂
I started to follow your blog a few months ago. I was looking for affordable fashion over 40 and I love your style! Although I am well over 40 (53 but don’t tell anyone!) I don’t feel like I am. I am determined to dress in sync with the way I feel! I get that same feeling from you! Love your spunk, style and bargain shopping! You are doing what I aspire to do- writing a blog with fun, affordable fashion for women who feel like age is just a number.
Thanks and luv you! Lisa.
So sorry to hear about the misunderstanding. You sound like me, I’m the mediator and it grieves me when I’m at odds with someone. Maybe check with the mutual friend for an idea or drop a note. If nothing else it will help you feel better because you reached out. Love the simplicity but classiness of today’s outfit. Just received my leopard print Mary janes from JCP today and looking for to wearing them. In Florida I don’t wear as many jackets but substitute lightweight sweaters to achieve the same looks. Have a great day and looking forward to your next segment.
Love your blog. You are a breath of fresh air and so much fun. Like talking with a girlfriend every day. ??
Love your outfit today! I prefer tailored clothes. Sometimes, I step out and wear other things, but tailored is usually my preference. Loving your green purse, BTW.
I already subscribe to your emails. : ) Since October, maybe? Or early November?
Thanks for the fun reads and fashion highlights!
I love how classy and classic your outfit is. I also love a good sale!
Tania, I look forward to reading your blog everyday when it shows up in my inbox!
I have found some great bargains and new ideas on sites you
Keep on stylin’…!
I have similar leopard print shoes by Dansko. I’m going to get them out and wear them!! Thanks for your post.
Just recently started following you. Love your hair!
Always look forward to your emails, just love your style.
So glad I found you on Pinterest! Love your fashion ideas for us girls over 50! I get inspiration from you everyday & look forward to your post!! I love your bright colors & classy outfits!! Pleas show us how to style this fabulous bad!! Love it!!
I enjoy your blog, your style, your stories, and the realness you share.
I love mixing high and low pieces, but love getting a super deal on the higher end items. I think I’d fit right in with you “gurls”!
As far as a misunderstanding goes, don’t let it marinate. Consider dropping the person a nice note or email explaining the misunderstanding and offer an apology. It’s always best to take the high road.
Grand baby bag!
Love..love …love your blog! Thank you for ideas on clothing. Here in Canada we don’t have all the same stores nor the great deals on clothing, have to shop a lot to find the deals : ) I look forward to reading your blog evering morning and btw..you have a GREAT humour !!!! Have a great day!!!
LOL just read my comment and it looks like my typed letter ‘ i ‘ s dropped?? To funny, I assure you that “I” do know how to spell. 🙂 🙂 🙂
OMG happened again???? Why me Lord??
I love your outfit! You just can’t go wrong with a jacket. And I love those shoes. I found a pair that looked exactly like those at Payless. They did not have my size but did have my daughters size so she ended up with them. Love your blog and thanks for the giveaway!
I am loving getting your email with the blog every morning! Unlike you I am “hot” all the time so I can’t do the layering that you do. I’m thinking I need to up my game with some jewelry and some more color! Love the bag – I too need to go shopping!
Love ur humor and how ur personality is reflected in your fashion choices. Glad I found u!!
Love your style sense. Can you strike a different pose on occasion? I know you can’t stand like that all day! LOL!!
Holy Cow! Many comments today. Very cute outfit. It’s a bit too cold most days here in Oregon to wear knickers. But I’m loving the ideas! Thanks!
Love your outfit today. I hope you get your problem resolved!
I would love to go on a shopping trip with you and the gurls! What a hoot that would be!! That would make a good give away on your one year anniversary! Ha!!
Oh by the way You hurt my feelings!!!! LOL!!!!
Let me tell you ladies she(Tania) is amazing to shop with! I just wish Bertha and I did not have to go to the PLUS sizes and we could shop more like her! Once again you need to shop with Tania!!!!
Look forward to your posts everyday! Love your outfits and enjoy your stories!! Thanks for sharing your life with us!
Love the posts! Happy 6 months! I love your style and at 65, they still work for me also! Thanks for sharing!
Happy 6 Months! Though it feels like you’ve been around much longer — you’re quite the pro!
Just recently found you through Facebook and enjoy your blog. Like you I am non-confrontational but my husband says what’s on his mind all the time (even when things are better left unsaid!!). I guess that’s why we complement each other!! LOL I just recently started getting your posts via email but would love to win that cool tote!
I enjoy your writing & fashion style! Thanks for the inspiration:)
Happy six months! You’ve made shopping and dressing so much fun! I made a fall folder and filled it with your outfit photos. Now I will do the same for spring. I browse through, pick the one I like, and duplicate it. So keep ’em coming!
You are speaking my language with this outfit! This outfit is simple yet so classy and appropriate for most every day activities. What wakes up an outfit are the accessories. Accessories are for an outfit what staging is to a home you are trying to sell. I love this look because I have a variety of navy sweaters and blazers. This neutral just works for me and you can wear it with so much. Navy is a more joyful color than black. I get so tired of seeing gals wearing black from head to toe. This is a look anyone could pull off and also look great for grocery shopping, lunch with friends or a meeting.
I would contact the friend of your friend anyway because then you will be at peace that you did what you could to repair any damage… I agree with others that the necklace/bracelet set is very cool and I love that you wore them together!!
Its hard to believe that you’ve only been doing this for 6 months. You are AWESOME! I have shared your blog with so many of my girl friends. They love it too! Keep up the good work. Have a wonderful, Blessed day!
Very cute outfit today!
I know exactly what you mean about people being mad at you. I’m the same way. Love your blog! Hugs!
I so very much enjoy your blog! I get inspired everyday! I too would love to be your neighbor and I agree this darn Illinois weather would send us all overboard?
Morning Tania….don’t let that misunderstanding make you miserable. If you need to drop her a note to show you care then do so and move on…no confrontation there : )
Don’t you just love vintage linen pieces?! I think I am a collector…always looking for it when I go shopping at consignment or thrift stores. Seems most folks don’t hold on to the good stuff …
Congratulations on your half/birthday! Hope you buy yourself something special :p
Love today’s outfit. It inspires me daily. I am lucky to have a husband that doesn’t mind me shopping, as I am also a bargin hunter.
Unfortunately…some people like to take offense, so all you can do is do your best!! I like your style, and love your banter….keep up the generous work!!
Happy 6 month birthday! Enjoy reading your blog and seeing what the next outfit will be. Here in Texas it’s cool in the mornings and warm by the afternoon so Spring is in the air!
I believe your blog is the best one I have seen, you shop at the same store as all of us do. I appreciate the fact that when I see an item you are wearing that I like, it has been purchase at TJ, QVC, Old Navy and other such store…not Nordstroms. I love the way you put clothes together, I’m 63 and do not want to dress old because I do not feel old. Thank you!
YYes, I would like to take a shopping class with you! I so enjoy that you show inexpensive ways to dress rather than wearing designer clothes only, for those of us that live in the real world! Love the tote!
I’m loving your spring styles!!! I have some leopard print flats that I bought off amazon for 9.99 and I wore the heck out of those shoes last summer. They’re still looking good so I think they’ll make it another year! I wish I could wear jeans or even dress capri’s to work but our GIANT company doesn’t allow that. 🙁 So many style options are being missed!!!! haha.
I already subscribe! I need help with summer outfits for Phoenix. It’s toooooo not here for jackets or long sleeves.
I just love your outfit today and am a big fan of your blog!
I also love reading your blog! I really like how you put together outfits that real, everyday women can wear. Thanks so much for taking your time to help the rest of us get a little style.
Congrats! You are an inspiration-can’t wait to read your blog every day!
Enjoying the posts!
Always enjoy your blog…. Love the tips and not to be afraid of your clothes! You are getting me out of my rut of same old, same old. Thank you!
Your outfits inspire me.
I love reading your blog and look forward each day to seeing your outfits! Keep up the good work!
Such a classy look today! I wish it was warm enough here in Connecticut to wear it! Right now but is snowing… I’m tired of the cold and can’t wait to break out the spring clothes! Love love love the zebra tote! Have a great day!
Happy Friday to YOU! Thank you for the post this morning. I, too, can’t stand it when someone is upset with me. I can’t sleep trying to pray about ways to resolve the matter. I will say a prayer for you and the “someone” as well. Please don’t take this the wrong way-I LOVE the fact that you dress so cute and you aren’t a tiny thing (extra small size 2-4) telling us that “aren’t “the size we were 20 yrs ago how to dress. You are the perfect size and you don’t have to show your “gurls” or wear something that my Mom would have suggested that it needed a ruffle around the bottom. You are so modern and love the fact you are up front with your shopping. I have followed a couple of other “50+” blogs and honestly can’t imagine paying designer prices for something trendy.
Happy Half Anniversary!
Love the animal print…so lively and colorful.
Congratulations on six months! I look forward to reading your blog every day and to get inspired. You’re like my new best friend. 🙂 Thank you. (Love that bag, btw)
I am so happy I discovered your blog. Confession- I went to 2 different walmarts to find that cute Marilyn shirt you showed the other day. You are inspiring me to take it up a notch. You are radiant!
I learn so much from you, love, love your blog. Keep up the good work & carry on.
Love that little denim blazer- genius in the casual feel with denim yet dressy cut… I need to keep my eye out for that for myself.
It does suck when someone is mad at you, and I completely ‘get’ being non-confrontational, if I can suggest- maybe ask your friend for this ladies email, and send her a note. You do a great job expressing yourself here with your written word- and more than anything, your heart will be settled by offering your regrets and apologies.
Found your blog a week ago and have fell on love with your style and blog. I am 58 and have been finding fashion frustrating but you have truly inspired me to push forward to look my daily best on a budget. I don’t want to look frumpy and you ideas and style is definitely not frumpy. Keep posting and inspiring!!!
I love reading your blog and yes I’ve subscribed! You always look great! If you ever come to California let me know…..you can show me some shopping tricks…lol!
Congratulations on 6 months, Tania!! I love all your fashion inspiration – and it’s affordable!!! I continually tell anyone that will listen about your blog.
My husband actually taught me long ago “just say you’re sorry – it completely deflates any resentment / argument” and he’s right (says his wife the ostrich).
Keep up the great blog – you are awesome!!
Love your outfit gurl! You are giving me some great ideas for spring outfits!
Good Morning & Congrats on your 6 months blog birthday! Coffee and your blog..yep thats how my morning starts. Love your stories and your help with getting dressed in the mornings lol! I really like the Zebra print bag but I have to admit I don’t own one piece of Zebra print anything. I do believe its time to venture out of my “safe” zone. Happy Friday to you my friend!
Great blog! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and cute outfits!
Cute stuff, Tania! Thanks for representing well and for sharing what you learn – such a blessing for those of us who want to dress relevantly but can quickly be worn out by the research! Praying for you this morning.
Love your blog! I love your style and your sense of humor =) I would love to go shopping with you! It would be so fun.
Enjoying the spring outfits, so ready for some warm sunny days. I would love to see more outfits with graphic tees, and also what kind of tops do you wear with longer shorts. Can you wear a longer tunic top and not looked scrunched??? Have a great day.
I have really been enjoying your blog. Love the styling and fashion tips. It’s nice to see that just because you get a little older doesn’t mean you can’t be fashionable!
I love your blog! Love the outfits and your daily inspiration! Simply but classy!!!
You always bring a smile to my face when I read your posts. Thank you for being so genuine and lovely! A great inspiration!
Yay on 6 months!??, I’m enjoying your spring preview outfits. Love today’s classic look that goes anywhere. Temps predicted to climb significantly here in SC next week ?. I might have to show some pale skin,?. Try not to fret over your comments to the friend. We all do that (say the wrong thing for the right reason). It should pass. Just show her your true colors next time. She should understand and forgive.?
Happy Friday Tania! I like that your blog shows casual work outfits once in awhile; even though I work at home a lot, it’s nice to have some ideas for when I am in the office. Maybe you can have a really show of “Shopping For Bargains with Tania”? Heeheehee Have a great shopping weekend!
You always look so cute. Look forward to you every day. Love the way you shop.
I’ve just started subscribing to your blog and thoroughly enjoy it!
Oh what a gorgeous give away! The bag is beautiful and the brand is superior. Have bought a few things from them and they last. O.k. I am trying to quit oh and ahing. Is that a word? Just want you to know you are the first blog I read in the morning. You and my coffee get me going. Congratulations on 6 months and keep the fashion coming. Your designs are actually ones I can afford. As far as the person being mad. I have found that if you are sincere and approach that person she should be willing to listen to your explanation of what you said. If not then her problem is bigger than you. A lot of times people have their anger misdirected and appreciate you bringing it to light in a open no confrontational way, Pray God will direct. I try to do that before reacting. Enjoy Friday. Your Friend Connie.
Yours is the first blog I subscrib to and look forward to reading it every day. Congratulations on 6 months, so glad I found you!
I just recently found your blog and it’s one of the few I check out just about every day! I’ve gotten great style inspiration from your outfits! Congrats on your six month anniversary!!
What an awesome giveaway! I’ve never met an animal print I didn’t like! Add some bling and wowza!! Congratulations on your six month birthday. I really need to look at startng a blog. Love yours and your style!
I get so much inspiration from you, outfits and spiritual. Love that you combine the 2. I am non confrontational too. Maybe if you think about if you were the one offended the Lord will help you figure out a way to talk to the person. And since my husband knows me best he always has wise advice when I make a blunder with someone. Thanks for your daily blog. I feel like I have a whole new internet friend group since finding you.
Congratulations! You give me a lot of great ideas! I really enjoy seeing your outfits. I like that you tell where you got an item. I also like the inspirational messages you share. Have a Great Weekend.
Great outfit! Please sign me up for that shopping trip class! I hope the misunderstanding is resolved but so often they’re often one sided. When the other side gets offended it may be because they want your attention. Right now I’m battleing my almost 4 year old granddaughter; when she doesn’t get her way she yells at me “you hurt my feelings!”. I know friends are not 4 year olds but, hey, we’re not 12 either! And then again a little kindness goes a long way. At work when I upset someone, I drop some chocolate on their desk. When I upset my husband, I have learned to just keep my mouth shut cause it just gets worse.
Congrats tania I think I’ve been following your blog the whole time. Thank you for the wonderful posts and ideas. We have casual Fridays at work. Would you mind doing one of those? Although what you are wearing today would be perfect. I agree with the old navy jeans. Just bought a pair of jeggings….so comfortable I love them. Thanks again for showing that 50 is beautiful.

Love reading your posts everyday. I need the shoes you are wearing to wear to a baby shower tomorrow. They are very cute. I’m going shopping this morning. I’ll be looking for some like yours. Thanks for all your fashion tips. Hope you have a very happy 6 th anniversary.
Love the look! I am on the hunt for a similar shirt. I think I will pop by VH after work to take a peak 🙂 have a great day!
I love your blog. I have so many items in my shopping cart at Amazon! 🙂 But like you I like to shop the bargains. Love your outfits. I look forward to your email every morning. You start my day off right. And I love your sense of humor.
Love the outfit – I would wear something similar once we get warm weather. I’m always envious of the clothing bargains Americans have – we just don’t get those kind of discounts here in Canada.
Happy anniversary. I took one of your pictures with me to the hair salon yesterday…color not as successful as I had hoped but since I am going from auburn to blond I will have to be patient. I love your style my problem is the only colors in my closet are black and white…I guess that means I need to go shopping!!
I read your Blog first thing every morning! You make me laugh sometimes. Thanks for the inspiration.
I just found your blog and love it. I would love to shop with you. I like how you shop where the prices are low and the quality is high. Keep up the good work.
Congratulations on 6 months! I enjoy reading your blog each morning. You must have a huge closet!
Yay! It worked! Have a wonderful day Tania!
I love all of your posts!
As a new subscriber of a few weeks, I think, I’m getting some great ideas. I especially like that you give info for finding some plus jeans. From reading the comments from the few fashion blogs I follow, it seems like Old Navy is the place to go. I hate trying on jeans, there are just sooo many fits & styles, so thanks to you I’m able to narrow it down to the ones you’ve mentioned. For some reason, my comment from the past 2 days wouldn’t post. That vest from yesterday, OMGoodness, I went nuts for it! I did find it on eBay, but only in a petite medium, and I’m a far cry from “I think I can squeeze into it”! Hopefully things will workout with the person who took offense to something said. Just keep on praying!
Hi Tanya! Congrats on 6 months! Truly enjoy and so glad I found your blog. I may not comment each day but you can be assured you have become apart of my morning routine since I found you. Loving your spring clothes! Have a great weekend!
I already get your daily email and my comment is you do a Awesome job here and I guess I am like Joe I like to get it in the open, when Dennis was alive he said he knew when I was mad I would start taking it out on the kitchen cabinets by slamming doors and he said he would just stay clear…LOL Love this blog and when you need to give away a purse if it is huge I will take it…LOL…. See you later friend.
Thank you for the spring looks! They’re helping me “think spring” even though we have 3 inches of snow today in WV! I love your happy attitude, so I hope that you can resolve your dilemma.
I have enjoyed reading your blog. Now that spring has sprung here in the Lowcountry of South Carolina I am looking for ideas for spring outfits and like that you are styling for spring. You have great style for those of us who are 50 years young. I was sorry to read about the misunderstanding but I am sure it will all work out. Happy blogging!
I’m sorry about the misunderstanding! When someone is mad at me, it worries me so I can relate to what you are saying. Your outfit is really cute and I’m loving all of your spring clothes. You have inspired me to shop my own closet more! I really enjoy your blog. Have a nice weekend.
I love your blog ! Your outfits are always colorful and fun. Happy 6 month birthday blogger!
Love your style! Exciting giveaway mystery.
Happy six months! Thanks for the giveaway.
Found you through Instagram a couple weeks ago and immediately subscribed to your daily emails. I just love your style, you always look so cute & put together! I can relate to your bargain shopping, I scored a Ralph Lauren navy wool blazer at TJ Maxx for, get this, $5.00!!! I don’t know whether it was a “tag” error by one of their workers, or it was just my lucky day, but I snapped it up! Sorry about your miscommunication with your acquaintance, I have found myself in similar situations, both in saying and receiving. The best you can do is offer a mea culpa if given the opportunity, and know in your heart your words were not meant to be harmful. Thanks for your blog, it’s a little treat I look forward to receiving in my mail box every day!
Thank you for reminding us that we can ‘shop our wardrobe’ and think differently about putting outfits together. No one likes to think someone is upset with us, but really if they have misunderstood, then the problem might not be with you, but something else entirely.
I think I found a duplicate of your animal loafers. Payless Christian Siriano Womens Dena smoking loafer. The price is $15, original price $29.99. I knw it’s not as good as what you paid, however, it is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick ?. I have a list of things I’m looking fo from your posts (you’ve created a monster)! I did find those black skinnies with gray patches on the knee. They were on the sale table. I’ll keep you posted on my finds.
Happy 6th month anniversary!? I am so happy I found you on Pinterest. I just love your style and your stories. I know how you feel about having someone be mad at you, I hope it all gets resolved. Good luck ?. Also, thanks for sharing your beauty routine.
I am so happy I found your blog, love it. I enjoy getting your daily emails and seeing how you styled your your outfit for the day.
I always feel bad when I’ve hurt someone’s feelings. I don’t like it either when someone is mad at me, so I understand how you feel. I always have to tell the person that I’m sorry, no matter how awkward it may be, or it will drive me crazy. I hope you find a way to tell this person that you’re sorry. Maybe a hand written note? Or, just calling the person and telling her that she is on your mind, and why. I know it’s hard to do, but you’ll probably feel much better.
Happy 6 months!
Cute outfit today, too! Have a great weekend!
I love your blog and look forward to reading it every day. I have gone back and read each one since you started the blog. I have picked up a lot of ideas and different ways to wear my outfits from you. Thank you for the inspiration. By the way, I really love your hair. ?
I am loving all the Spring outfits so far, great job and keep them coming! So sorry to hear about the misunderstanding you’re having, I would pray about it and the Lord will help you through it, we’ve all been there. Have a blessed day!
I really enjoy your blog. Wish you were my next door neighbor! You’d hate Illinois winters though. You inspire me to check out pieces of clothing in my closet that I haven’t considered wearing in a while. You inspire me to be more creative and more diligent in my closet search each morning. It is so easy to get in a rut. I work hard now to “see” a new outfit combo and wear it with pride. I leave for work each morning with a smile on my face. Thank you for being you!
