ARE BOOTCUT PANTS THE BEST CHOICE FOR YOU
I might have been a little mean yesterday to Joe. It wasn’t planned, but it was still mean, and pretty funny from my point of view. From his point of view, it was not near as funny, and he looked pretty ill. Lol! He told me that I “had” to put this story on the blog, or HE was going to put it on there himself. I think that he thinks you all will take up for him and fuss at me for my actions. I told him that we would see about that. So, here we go…
My daughter-in-law was helping with a Teacher appreciation dinner/bingo party, and my son was busy still at work, so he asked me if I would walk over and keep the kids until he got home. No problem, I took a couple of presents, and a 4 ft. tree over, and we put together the tree and decorated it. Then, Emersyn wrapped the gifts that I had brought over for her and Beckham to give to their parents. We had a great time, and when my son came home for the night, I walked back home. Joe had just gotten home himself when I walked in the door and was telling me about his day. I had cooked a pot roast earlier in the day, so I walked out into the utility room (that is where the freezer is) to get a pack of rolls for supper.
As I walked back into the kitchen, Joe was taking off his sweatshirt, and he was struggling to keep his undershirt on while taking off the sweatshirt. I walked over to help him pull the undershirt back down, and that is when the mean streak in me kicked in. While he had his hands tied up in the sweatshirt, I put the cold freezer roll up against his side, where the undershirt hadn’t been pulled down yet. LOL! The look on his face, not to mention all of the foul words that came out of his mouth, was too funny. I was quick to move out of range because I knew that if he could get a hold of me that I was in big trouble. I know that I should have felt guilty, but I couldn’t quit laughing long enough for guilt to kick in. Hahaha! I know that he will eventually get revenge, but for now, I am the Queen of Mean. LOL!!!
I have worn several dressier outfits in the past week, so I thought that a casual weekend look was in order. All of the items that I am wearing are things that I have already styled, but today I am putting them together in a different look. The beautiful cable knit sweater is one that I bought at Target, and here is where I styled it with jeans earlier. This look is a little different, a tad bit dressier, but still falling onto the casual side. The big chunky cable knit design is so soft and comfortable that you will want to wear it over and over again. I love the deep v-neck because I can add another shirt under the sweater for added color. I am wearing a medium in this sweater, and it is still roomy and oversized. (that is how it is supposed to be) Here is the link to this sweater, and I found a few more that you will like also.
Someone mentioned in a comment yesterday that they missed me not posting as much about the skincare that I use. I love my skincare, I use my skincare, and I could talk to you for hours about the skincare. But, I figured that you might not want to hear about it daily, so I am only posting when something is important. This is important!!! It can save you an additional 20% off of the purchase price for two of the best sellers. Lash Boost is solely responsible for my lashes (look back when I first started blogging if you don’t believe me), and Active Hydration Serum is why I no longer have skin like a crocodile. If you want to ask me any questions, then shoot me a message to fiftyisnotold@gmail.com. If you’re going to make a purchase, then make sure to do that as my Preferred Customer so that you can get an additional 15% off the purchase price and FREE shipping. Yep! This is an important announcement!!! If you want to get any of the products before Christmas, you need to order no later than the 15th to guarantee you will have the products by then. Tania I hope that you are sleeping with one eye open. When Joe gets you back you will be in trouble for sure. But I did laugh because that is something i would do. lol I havent tried bootcut pants I stuck in my jegging they pull on and stretch what more could a girl ask for
Girl, all I can say is “expect it when you least expect it!” because Joe won’t soon forget the frozen rolls, LOL! Of course how could you resist doing it?! Nice outfit today. It maybe looks a little dressier with the boot cut slacks, but I am still a skinny jeans gal!
Funny story. I have a really mean but oh so funny story. Many years ago my husband was working on an electrical outlet and I quietly walked up behind him and said “bzzz”. Oh my goodness!!! He jumped and I just couldn’t help but break out in a full on belly laugh with tears and all. Of course, he didn’t think it was funny at all. I loved yesterday’s post and I would live to see you do this more often. Thank you for being the wonderful “real” person you are!
Funny story, we’ve all been there! Very cute outfit today, and I LOVED yesterday’s fashion show♡ I hope you will continue doing them as I saw lots of us felt the same
Hi, Tania. Love the story about Joe and you. I have done something similar to my unsuspecting husband, and he did get his revenge….but, it is all in good fun. So, y’all better stay alert for his revenge! 🙂 Love the outfit you’ve styled today. One question: I am assuming those are pins you’ve placed strategically on the sweater? I had first thought they were buttons attached to the sweater; however, when I clicked the link to check to see if they had my size on the Target site, I see the sweater doesn’t have any embellishment. I didn’t see you mention anything about that; but, maybe I missed it?
Thank you for your hard work publishing this consistently excellent blog!

Susan, that is actually a necklace with white beads that don’t show up. The other “buttons” are leopard drops on the necklace.
Thanks, Tania. Guess I should have put on my glasses to see the pictures better! Thanks for clarifying! Have a wonderful weekend!

Tania, I think being playful with your husband is great…I side with you. Joe just wishes he could keep up with you! It keeps you both young.
I really, really love this outfit. It’s a good way to make a sweater more interesting. I never buy button down shirts but I think I will now. Thanks for the idea.

That is such a sweet, funny story! You are both like teenagers, which reminds me of why I love my husband! We have fun and make each other laugh, too. I loved the photo bombing, and I think you got him back good!
Hopefully Joe is very forgetful!:) I love the outfit. I wanted to get the bracelet and necklace. I searched the site but don’t see them. Do you know if they are available anywhere? I have never looked at the jewelry before. It looks like they have a lot of cool jewelry. Dangerous for me. 🙂
Joe taught you well!! Just sayin’
You look so sharp in this outfit!
My husband “got” me in similar fashion last week with his ice-cold hands on my bare back, after he had come into the house from the cold. So, when Joe gets his revenge, please be sure to do a post about that, as I’m definitely plotting mine over here! 🙂 Love the bootcut pants w/boots!
I’m siding with Joe on this one because I ABSOLUTELY HATE when someone does that to me.
I hate it too, Brenda, but he had done the same to me before. I am sure that he will get his payback soon. LOL!
Very funny and frankly, who could resist doing it?! ? Watch for pay back though!
I like the the leopard shirt with the sweater. I have that shirt so will try this!
Janet, I am sure that he will get pay back somehow. Lol!
I love your outfit! I didn’t see a link for your skincare. Did I miss it?
Karen, yes you missed it…because I FORGOT to list it. LOL! Here is the link to the special, and you can see other products from there also if the special isn’t what interests you.

If Joe is anything like my husband he has done the same thing multiple times, not felt guilty at all, and will strike again! What a fun story. I love this sweater more each time I see it on you, I have a similar one but noticed it is starting to look a bit worn, I think this will replace it.
He has done the same, and worse, Mary!
Sorry Joe, I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of those frozen rolls either but it IS pretty funny!! I’d say YOU better be on your toes Tania because I have a feeling Joe will not let this pass! Haha! Nothing wrong with restyling what you already have. My goodness, no way could ANY of us afford that many new clothes all of the time nor have room for them. I do enjoy the try on sessions and later you can ‘style’ for us what you kept.
I am being extra careful for the next few days, Sondra. Hopefully, he will have a short memory. LOL!
Yep that was funny! I would have done the same, so sorry, Joe. Tania is not the only Queen of Mean. Loved the outfit today.
Haha! I am sure that he deserved it for something. Lol!
You better stay alert girl….Joe is going to get you back when you least expect it! I have those Kut From the Kloth cords too….I love them so much that I bought one in every color. I love the leopard with it….so classy.
I am being extra careful today since it is Friday the 13th. LOL! I agree with you about these pants, I love Kut From The Kloth pants!!!
That is hilarious! I would have done the same thing. Sorry, Joe. That was pay back for the photo bombing! That sweater looks so cozy, Tania. Cute outfit, as always.
Ooooh, that’s a good one, Lydia. I had already forgotten about the photo bombing.
Your Joe story that’s to funny I’m sure he didn’t like it at all,but definitely beware of pay back. I really like your outfit good the office. And also liked the bulk try on.
Thanks for all your inspiration. Happy Friday!!
Monica, I am hoping that his memory is short and that he has already forgotten the incident. Hopefully, he won’t read my post. Lol!
Well, I would have done the same thing with the rolls.?. Guard up girlfriend.
Another great outfit for this sweater, which I wear frequently because it is so darn snuggly! I have a leopard blouse in black, gray, pink from Loft. I can pair with black or gray jeans and I would not have thought to do so without you. I even have blush suede booties. How cute is that? Thank you for the inspiration Tania.
Kathy, I love this comment. It shows that we are prank sisters, and that you are willing to try new styles. I love that so much!!!
