Beautiful New Arrivals For Fall From Talbots
Every time I open an email from Talbots, it seems like they are adding a new collection. I grabbed these photos a couple of weeks ago, and I’ve already placed a huge order for MORE new arrivals for fall from Talbots! Lol! I love everything I see and can’t wait to wear it all this fall. I hope you enjoy this try-on haul from Talbots, and I’ll share what I’ve got on the order (from several brands) in Saturday’s post.

New Arrivals for Fall From Talbots
Trouser Jeans
I couldn’t wait to show everyone these wide-leg trouser jeans. They are flattering for most people, including my petite ladies, since they balance your body proportions. Wearing a cropped or slim-fit top will keep your legs looking long, and if you can add a small heel, that helps, too. Talbots offers these jeans in misses, petite, and plus sizes, so you don’t have to worry about the length.
Faux Leather
Faux leather has sure come a long way since the early “pleather” days. It no longer looks like plastic and is very realistic and soft feeling. I love the embossed quilting design and gold buttons, which give it a very high-end, luxurious look.
Stripes, stripes, stripes
You’re going to see a lot of stripes this fall. Stripes are trending this year, so you’ll see them in Talbot’s new arrivals for fall and other brands. I like this half-zip sweater vest since the stripes are slightly larger than other sweaters I’ve seen. The half zip lets you decide how deep you want the v-neck to be. This vest has a lot of visual interest and would look great under a jacket or worn over a button-up shirt.
These barely bootcut jeans are my favorite since they are the most versatile. Everyone can wear these jeans, and they’ll look great with heels, boots, sneakers, and flats.
Leopard Print
Let me tell you, it has exploded with leopard print in Talbots!!! I was greeted with this cashmere v-neck sweater as I walked in the door, and I couldn’t resist it. I love Talbots cashmere sweaters, and I buy several each year. The oversized cuff jeans are cute as a button, and I would probably add a pair of shoes with them when I left the house. Lol!!!
These jeans aren’t for everybody, but the large cuff is a popular and modern look. Check out this pair if you want to try the trend at a slightly lower price point.
Sweater Vests
Another big trend this fall is vests, especially sweater vests. I love anything cable knit, so I styled this vest in two colors. I love both colors since they are perfect for fall. The rich burgundy (I’m wearing in the first outfit) came home with me, and I think I also need this camel color.
I mean, look at how cute this is, even worn by itself!!! If I throw on a blazer and a pair of heels and grab a handbag, I’m ready for a fabulous date night with the hubs!
Here is another sweater vest, but with a slightly different look. I don’t think I’ve seen a halter vest this year, so this one caught my eye. The navy is a perfect color for fall since it looks great with camel, burgundy, olive, etc., and the buttons give it a lot of visual interest.
I decided to try the vest with a pair of corduroy jeggings. I have these twig-colored corduroys from previous years, and they are great for wearing tucked-in knee boots. They felt odd when I put them on since I am used to wearing loose or relaxed-fit items. I wouldn’t be surprised to see skinny-ish pants and jeans making a comeback.
While I had them on, I decided to try them with a couple of other new arrivals for fall from Talbots. The leopard print sweater looks good with them, but I don’t “love” the look.
I also tried them with this satin shirt. Ummm, I thought I would love the shirt when I saw it hanging on the wall, but I’m not feeling it now that I have it on. I thought the pattern was too busy, so this is one that I left in the store.
I like the length, and if it had been a solid color, I might have liked it better.

Love Talbots and their styles last a very long time. I just returned from a European vacation and all the stores I went in and walked by, showed skinny and narrow jeans and pants. NO wide leg anything.

Right before reading today’s post I was looking at trouser jeans. Was thinking of trying even though I’m not a big fan of the wide legs but need to go outside the box lol. They look terrific on You!
