BEHIND THE SCENES VOL. 4 – WHAT YOU’VE MISSED

It has been a fairly blah week here at the Stephen’s household. Other than a few doctor’s appointments and lunch dates, I haven’t left the house. However, I do have a few fun details to share with you, a few giveaways, and some exciting news from one of my friends. I hope you’ll enjoy today’s post.

Joe and I went to eat at a cute little eatery specializing in healthy foods and juices. I had eaten there before, but it was Joe’s first time. I had a slice of tomato pie which was delicious, but since Joe had eaten earlier, he just had a bottle of the Majik Moment Juice. It contained Blue Algae, so I had to take a photo to send to my daughter, who has a degree in Marine Biology. She was as shocked as I was that he tried the juice and loved it. When I went to pay for the meal, Joe said, “grab some more of those drinks.” The lady told him that they were cheaper if he bought 6, so he picked out 6 different ones, and we left.

Later, he got to looking at the bill and about died when he saw that each little bottle was $7. I laughed and told him that he only paid $39.50 since he bought 6 of them. The moral of the story; pay attention to the price before you buy. Lol!

I saw a video of someone cutting their hydrangeas, putting them in a bowl/pot without water, and letting them dry. The color is supposed to stay the same, so I decided to give it a try. Here is my bouquet of hydrangeas, so I’m crossing my fingers that they stay this pretty. If you’ve ever tried this method, let me know how it turned out for you. I thought you had to hang them upside down (🤷) to let them dry, and I don’t have the patience for that.

I hope you liked today’s post. If so, PLEASE remember to pin my post on Pinterest.

  5. Please give us an update on the hydrangeas! I’ve tried the upside-down process a few times with no success. We’ll finally be moving into our new home in Tennessee after a 15 month wait. I’ve already planned where my hydrangeas will be planted!
