CANDY AND CUPID
Joe and I went out to eat lunch together today. Normally we go to a little restaurant that is just about 1/2 a mile up the road, but today we just wanted something different. We headed down the road and every time we came to a restaurant one of us would say no. All of a sudden we both looked at each other and said, “Long John Silvers.” This is not normal at all. When we pulled in the parking lot Joe said it must be our yearly visit. I love the clam strips and Joe loves the malt “VINEGAR!” Hahaha
We got our drinks and went to sit down and then I jumped up to go get ketchup. Joe said he would go with me and I took out 2 little cups and started filling them up. Joe waited patiently while I got my ketchup and then he took a drink lid and turned it upside down and proceeded to fill the lid with tons and tons of ketchup. He said, “this is how it’s done.” I had to take a picture and share it on FaceBook, it was just too funny. I said guess which one is mine and most people thought I had the big one. Lol! I couldn’t eat that much ketchup with a sack of potatoes.
I am back to my red again today. This red cardigan is sooooo old that it needs to be replaced desperately. I think this was one I bought at JC Pennys since it is the Worthington brand. It has been a good one but it has seen its better days.
These HUGE red studs have already sold out. They were only $10.00 so no wonder they sold out so fast. These things are about the size of a dime, really showy. My shorter silver necklace is called the Eros. It is hammered hearts that are suspended on wire. This is part of a set and it comes with matching earrings. The longer necklace is called the Heritage. I really like this necklace because of the saying, “Grow Old With Me The Best Is Yet To Be.”
I am all Valentined out today. I know that is not a real word, my spell check keeps fussing, but you understand what I am saying. I got all my Valentine’s specials in and I HAD to wear it all. Lol! I am a flashing billboard today to Valentines. Cupid must be smiling down on me. These bracelets had to get his attention. lol! This huge bracelet is really an eye catcher. The red studs matched the larger stones in this bracelet. Guess what this bracelet is called? Cupid! Hahaha The red smaller bracelet is called Candy. So you can tell your husband that you want Candy for Valentine’s Day and then send him to me. ?
The black and white windowpane pants are from Cato’s, I think. I can’t lay hands on them at this moment, but I seem to remember that is where they are from. These dress pants are not lined so I don’t wear them when it is really cold outside.
I have opened a new Plunder party for the month of February. It is www.plunderdesign.com/party/believe isn’t that just perfect? I love naming my parties like this, it is such a good reminder for me. I need to incorporate this is the rest of my life.

That’s a great outfit. It really looks pulled together.
You look so cute!!! Love Long John Silvers hushpuppies!
I’m with Joe. I eat fries with my ketchup! Ketchup makes everything better, lol!
Love this look. I decorated my house last week for Valentines. My hubby thought I was nuts. He said, isn’t it a bit early?!?! ??Well, I enjoy decorating for each special event. Loved the ketchup story BTW,,, Have a blessed rest of the week. ?❤?
*LOVE* this outfit! I also love the cupid bracelet…I’m sad that it’s sold out! I *LOVE* ketchup too. My husband will use about 1/4 of a tsp of ketchup and I’m like your Joe! Lol
WHAT! They had the bracelet this morning. ?
By the way … Chadwicks has the black/white windowpane pants if anyone is looking for them.
Oh, you look Mahvelous!!! I love you in red! Cupid is definitely smiling at you. I bet Joe likes you in red because it reminds him of ketchup!
If I want to order the Cupid bracelet how do I do that?
Cheryl, you can click on the link and it should take you to the site or you can go to http://www.plunderdesign.com/party/believe and hit the shop button. You can type in Cuid in the search bar or it is listed under specials in the menu tab.
Such a classy Valentine outfit! You sure are looking skinny!
I LOVE this outfit! It’s classic but also a little bit spicy – like Whataburger ketchups – LOL. You may not know the Whataburger chain – it’s an original Texas chain and they have awesome burgers! They are now located in about 8 Southern states. But I digress … I do love this look and you look great in it!
My two, grown daughters have been using the drink lid ketchup trick since they were little! It really does work well for ketchup fanatics! It made me laugh when I read that your husband does it too. Love your outfit today, especially the heart necklace. So cute! You look so slim and trim!
What a classic outfit! Love it!
I don’t think we have an Long John Silvers here anymore—that’s too funny!!
I love this red outfit–it’s something all 3 of us on the blog could easily wear—exactly what I call ageless style, Tania!

Love the outfit and the funny story! You look classy and sassy!
LOVE this outfit!
Love love love the outfit. And it is so slimming (that or you’ve lost 10 lbs since yesterday). It makes me want to run out and buy it.
The 10lb in one day diet ?
I love this outfit so much, Tania! I have a pair of windowpane pants that I may be wearing soon with a red cardigan! Thanks for the inspiration. And by the way, I despise ketchup…like passionately. I am getting a little better about it, but in the beginning of my relationship with my husband (an avid ketchup lover), I wouldn’t even wash his dinner plate if it had ketchup on it…he had to wash it himself even I was washing all the other dishes! It grosses me out that much! Have a fabulous week!

WOW, Shelbee. You really hate ketchup. Lol!!!
Shelbee, I am totally with you on that sentiment. When my kids were little I would often tell them that certain restaurants didn’t carry ketchup. As I’ve gotten older, my aversion has lessened, but I don’t order it on anything. lol
Loved your lunch story and love your outfit, Tania!!!!
Have a great day!!!

My husband is a nut, Petra. Lol!!!
Red is definitely your colour. You look fabulous.??
Thanks, Joanne!!!
What a good idea re the ketchup in a drink lid and clever linking ketchup to your red cardi.
Loving this outfit Tania – your story about lunch is so cute too.
I have a post coming up today about how to buy the coming trend already on sale….Surprising tricks make this possible 😉
