A Relaxed Holiday From Nordstrom Rack With An Oversized Sweater

Is there anything more comfortable than a sweater and leggings? Well, maybe an oversized hoodie, but that wouldn’t be as stylish. Lol! I always want to dress up for events and holidays, even if only a little bit. I styled both outfits like I would if I were going to someone’s house. That includes sunglasses, a handbag, and heels. I don’t usually walk around my home wearing those items. Lol!

My children all drove to my house this year, and we celebrated an early Thanksgiving. This Oversized Colorblock Turtleneck Sweater was perfect since the top didn’t touch me anywhere. I was able to enjoy my sweet potato crunch, rolls, and even dessert without my stomach pooching out or feeling too confined. This sweater would also look great with jeans, but for this occasion, I paired it with black leggings.

The sweater was long enough to cover my rear, even though the High Waist Ponte Knit Leggings are thick enough to wear as pants. I love the look of the black leggings, and the seam down the back is a great detail.

This Kate Spade Beige Crossbody is a great neutral handbag. It would go with any outfit and is large enough to hold all your essentials. The bag can be dressed up or down, so it is about as versatile as you can get. It comes in many colors in case you want something more pronounced.

Like the outfit above, this is how I would dress if I were going out to eat or to a friend’s house. I love dressing in a column of color since it creates a long, lean look. I’m in black today, but dressing in all red, blue, or white will still give you the long, lean look.

I’m wearing a basic outfit that looks polished and put together because of the completer piece and accessories. The black Long Sleeve Knit Turtleneck Top is a great layering piece. It looks great under cardigans, sweaters, or jackets.

The Faux Leather Draped Moto Jacket looks fabulous against the black background of the turtleneck. Black and brown are a classic color combination, and I love wearing the two together. This Faux leather moto jacket is soft and drapes wonderfully. It is a great neutral that will look good with jeans for an elevated casual look.

I loved this quilted leather tote bag with chain handles, and so did everyone else. It has already sold out, but I found an almost identical one.

If I can wear jeans, I’m a happy camper. I wear jeans most during the winter when I’m outside the house. If I’m lounging inside the house, I’m in leggings, joggers, or jeans.
