You might have noticed that I love Talbots. This retailer is one I’ve worn for over 30 years, and it is my husband’s favorite brand. When he used to travel for work, he would always bring me back a surprise from Talbots. I still have an ivory suit he bought me, and it is still gorgeous. Today, I’m sharing some classic and versatile new arrivals at Talbots that you’ll be able to wear for years to come.

Classic and Versatile New Arrivals At Talbots – Non-Iron Tunic

Talbots clothing is top-notch! Their quality is fantastic, and I love that I can find all the classics mixed with modern and trending items to create the perfect wardrobe.

The Non-Iron Tunic is a product after my own heart! They had me at “non-iron!” I’m busy and always swamped with a to-do list a mile long. Ironing is not something I want to add to the list. The classic Chatham stripe in white and fawn is one that I can wear dressy or casually and will look great with jeans or pants. The medium fits me great and runs true to size.

Talbots accessories, such as this Quilted Leather Crossbody Bag, are made well and last for years. I love the rattan color of this leather handbag since it will match everything. Versatile clothing and accessories help to stretch your hard-earned dollars further since you can wear them more often.

Everyone needs a few dressier items in their closets, but I like figuring out ways to wear them in a casual manner, too. The wide-leg Greenwich Pants are great dress pants with a flat front design. I prefer a flat front over pleats since I think pleats draw attention to my stomach area. I’m wearing a size 8, and they fit perfectly.

Adding this fawn/ivory Cable Knit Coatigan to my outfit gave it a casual vibe. This coatigan is a nice weight and will add lots of warmth on a cool spring day. The toggle closures are a unique detail that helps elevate the coatigan, and I love the cable knit design. I’m wearing a medium, and it has plenty of room for the tunic worn underneath.

My sister-in-law turned me on to Talbots shoes. The suede black flats are a pair that you can wear with dresses, jeans, skirts, or pants. I love the resin oversized buckle that adds visual interest to the shoes. They run true to size, and my usual size 9 fits me great.

Classic and Versatile New Arrivals At Talbots – Pintuck Flares

Is there anything better than a crisp white outfit? I love how chic this simple outfit looks, and each piece is so versatile.

A striped Button Front Shirt is a “must-have” in every woman’s wardrobe. They are a workhorse item since they can be worn all year round and can be layered or worn alone. I love the navy and white stripes with a few turquoise and pink additions. This shirt will look great under a navy blazer for a dressier outfit.

I added the Twisted Tweed Crossbody Bag because I loved the textured material. Adding textured items to your outfit gives them depth and dimension. This crossbody is large enough to hold your essentials, such as a phone, wallet, and lipstick.

I wanted to add a cardigan for extra warmth. The addition of the bright pink cardigan brightened up the entire outfit and heralds in spring.

Here in Virginia, it is cool in the mornings and evenings most spring days. I need to add a cardigan or jacket to keep me warm, but I don’t need something too heavy. This Cable Knit V-Neck Cardigan is perfect since the colors scream that spring is coming. The fit of the cardigan is slightly relaxed and looks great with the striped shirt.

While I’m not a huge fan of pleats, I do love pintucks on pants and jeans. A friend of mine always irons everything and uses a ton of starch to get the crisp ironed crease. Me…I prefer my ironed crease to be sewn in so that I don’t have to do it myself. Lol! These Flare Leg Jeans are fabulous, and you’ll see me wearing them a lot in the coming months.

Classic and Versatile New Arrivals At Talbots – Knit Striped Tee

You can’t herald in spring without wearing spring green. The Tweed Cropped Jacket is a gorgeous bright green, and it looks great with navy chinos. I think the jacket would look great with the white pintuck jeans and any of the shirts below.

This knit bold striped tee reminds me of a classic rugby striped shirt. I think this tee would look great with a pair of black pants or shorts this spring and summer. The tee is so comfortable and stretches and moves with you as you go about your day. The tee has long sleeves for a little extra warmth as we transition into spring.

Love Talbots too! During and post-COVID, I found their sizes were off and was disappointed at the fit. But, they seem to have rebounded to their usual quality and size-reliable clothing!

  4. Cute tops…don’t love the pants…I geneurally think their pants are frumpy but they always have cute tops😊
