COLD SHOULDER, STRIPES, AND EMBROIDERY
It is back to the normal routine today. Thanks for the indulgence yesterday, I am sure many of you rolled your eyes when you saw the topic. Lol! I had a fabulous day though answering emails and private messages. But today I have more important things to do like take the dogs to the groomers. That is always an exciting adventure. Just in case you were wondering, that was sarcasm.
Lucy Lu, my stray that I have had for about a year, doesn’t like to be picked up. She gets really nervous and starts to shake even though she loves to be petted or sit in your lap. Getting her to sit still long enough to pick her up and calm her down takes some time. Then, with her in one hand, I have to try to pick Beckley up with the other hand. I am well aware that I could do one at a time and take them to the car but then I would have to make two trips. Haha! Driving to the groomers is equally fun. (more sarcasm) They argue and fight over who gets to sit in my lap. Lucy Lu is shaking so violently that she has to sit in my lap and Beckley is the oldest so he has to sit there too. It is really easier when they both are in my lap because then they lay down. Otherwise, they are growling and fighting and that is way more distracting.
I told you that I had a cute outfit to show you. I bought this the day my “stalker” and I went shopping from the little local boutique in town. I had already paid and was heading out the door when Kim told me that she had gotten in a few new things. I should have left quickly but of course, I had to see what see got in. Lol! That led to me buying two more tops and this was one of them. I immediately loved the embroidery against the navy and white background. Stripes are huge this year, a cold shoulder is huge this year, AND embroidery is huge this year! Here is your trifecta purchase! This top is from a brand called Now N Forever. I know that Kim had several of these in stock but you will need to call or text her if you are interested because she never has her items on the website. That info is

You will see me wear these t-strap sandals a lot this summer. I like the easy and casual look and I like that they slide on and off easily. I hate fumbling with the clasp when I am putting on shoes. This pair is by Tommy Hilfiger and I bought them a couple years ago. They are one of my “go to” sandals for summer.
Thanks to all of you who placed orders yesterday with R+F. It was great to be able to share with you the skin care at a discount. It is not always about making money, although that is EXTREMELY nice, it is just as nice to be able to share the love. ❤️
Do you know what my number one referrer page is? It is Pinterest! I truly appreciate every time you “pin” a picture. Heck, pin ALL the pictures if you want. Lol! Also, if you would like to share my posts on Facebook or Twitter, I would appreciate that. It helps get my blog out to more people, and I am sure you just want to spread the entertaining sayings I have. Lol! The comment section is at the end of the post, so keep scrolling. I look forward to reading all the comments, they make my day.

So, so cute! I’m loving all the embroidery. My husband made some comment about his sisters and embroidered chambray shirts in the 70s. Yea….these items on pointe now are nothing like those. Just sayin’. I love my Noah lanyard BTW. I needed to retire my Baylor University one.
Tania, What is the name brand of the top that you are wearing? Do you think it is possible to find it elsewhere. She is not have anymore when I emailed her. Thank you!
I love your outfit. You always do such a wonderful job with your clothes, jewelry, makeup, hair. I tried to order the top that you are wearing, but she was sold out. Sure wish she would get more in. Thank you for all that you do.
I do like this outfit and I have seen the shirt somewhere before, I still feel funny sometimes when I where bright red pants or capri’s, like you it is time to get out of that feeling and move on. Glad you had a great Rogan anniversary.
You look fabulous and sure do know how to layer necklaces!
Love the top and red pants! Cute as always.
Lovely look, love the embroidery. x Jacqui

How lovely! ! Off the shoulder tops look pretty, but they constantly have to be adjusted. This look is perfect, and seems as if it would be comfortable without the constant adjustment when you raise your arm(s)! ?
This one was loose and you are right, it did not need adjusting all the time.
I read your page often and think you have a real knack for styling clothes. Generally I disdain those cold shoulder tops, but this one makes more sense, as the majority at the top is bare. Love the red pants, too.
Love your blog & fashion. You have inspired me to “redo” my own style to yours as close as I can. Please keep the blog/stories coming. I love it❤️
