DRESS TO PLEASE
Welcome to Wednesday’s Wardrobe Link-Up! Today is the last day of the free Youth Golf Clinic at Willowbrook Country Club. Several young children came out to enjoy themselves, and learn a few golfing tips. Some of you mentioned me doing a post on golf attire, and if I take the game back up, I will have to address that subject. However, I know an outfit you will not see me wearing…..that would be a very, very short dress that was worn at the US Open this past weekend. Joe and I were watching the ending of the tournament to see who would win, and he got an eye full when the fiance of the winner went out to congratulate him. The cameraman followed the couple as they took the long walk upstairs to the clubhouse. Here is a tip for everyone: when you have to constantly tug at your dress to keep everyone from seeing your private parts, the dress might be too short. Lol!
Joe and I went to church this past Sunday, and I wore this pretty green dress. It is form fitting, without being tight. It shows enough skin, without being obscene. This is the way you should wear a dress. 
I bought this dress early this spring, but have never worn it. I didn’t want to wear a shirt under it, or a cardigan, so I had to wait for sleeveless weather. I loved the green color as soon as I saw it. I have never been a “green” person, so I was shocked at how much I liked this dress. The dress is by Calvin Klein and I purchased it at TJ Maxx.

I have on a few piece of Chloe & Isabel with today’s outfit. Both of these pieces are so versatile, I have worn them with dresses AND jeans. The necklace is called Pearl + Crystal Drops Long Necklace, and the earrings are called Pearl + Crystal Floral Filigree earrings. 
For a pop of color, I carried my hot pink leather Vera Bradley tote that I have been carrying the past few day. I also wore a pair of high heel shoes in a very light beige/ivory color. They are by Marc Fisher and I purchased them from the QVC overstock store in town.

I do have empathy for that gal on TV; as a taller woman it’s sometimes hard finding dresses with a long enough hemline that aren’t frumpy. As someone else said, “sassy without trashy” can be hard sometimes. You really pulled it off here though! Love that you got your man in your photo 😉 My hubs HATES when I take his picture!
I think Ms. Gretzky got exactly what she was after last Sunday…lots of attention. (I think she was/is a model?) My husband commented on the dress as they were walking away, toward those steps. I didn’t notice her tugging at it (I was probably too busy holding my breath) but I did make the comment, “I hope she doesn’t sneeze.” Isn’t it amazing, though, how many of us saw it and had almost exactly the same reaction?

The hubs and I both laughed and commented about the nearly opaque short white dress at the US Open. Ha ha! Like your green dress much better.
I was at the golf outing and her dress was really short and snug.

Oh my goodness, you look gorgeous!!! You look like you have an appointment to meet the Queen of England…with the addition of a hat, of course! haha I was looking at all the beautiful jewelry at Plunder, but it doesn’t say if their earrings are nickel-free or not. Can you tell me if they are nickel-free? I have sensitive ears and can’t wear just any earrings, or I end up in the dermatologist’s office. Have a great day!
