Ugh! They are calling for snow again tonight! I actually like snow, but I think I’d like a pass since it is accompanied by cold weather. My mind has already gone into “spring” mode, and my body wants to go there, too. My husband’s birthday is in March, so I told him we are going south to celebrate. I went online to look for some clothing to take with me, and here is how I’m getting ready for spring with Walmart.

Getting Ready For Spring With Walmart – Pastels

Pastels aren’t colors that I usually wear since I prefer vibrant and saturated colors. However, I typically make an exception in early spring, and I’ve found that adding bright lipstick helps.

Also, adding a cardigan, jacket, or blazer in a rich color can balance out a pastel outfit. I’ve bought two of these Denim Jackets in different colors, which fit great. This is a medium wash, but I also have it in a dark wash.

I love the look of the pastel outfit, even without the jacket. If I already had a tan, it might look better on me. I feel like it washes me out a little bit without the denim jacket.

I have to admit, this Sleeveless Button Down Top is pretty cute! The colors remind me of Easter Eggs, and that makes me smile. You could pair this with yellow, pink, blue, or jeans, so I think it is a top you could get a lot of wear with. I’m wearing a medium, and it fits me perfectly.

I like using a small crossbody handbag when I’m on vacation and traveling. The crossbody style lets me keep the bag secure, and it is large enough to hold the few essentials I will need, like a small wallet, phone, and lipstick.

The color of these High Rise Double Button Wide Leg Jean Trouser is Ecru. This soft, creamy color is a little less stark than white. It is a great neutral and can be worn with pretty much any color. I love the wide leg style, but these were a tiny bit too big for me. You might want to size down instead of up if you are between sizes.

I am a color-loving gurl! Bright colors make me happy, and I feel like they brighten up my face. Even the bright colors would look better with a tan. It might be time for me to start using a Sunless Tanning Lotion. This one is great for just a hint of color, and those who are beginners to the faux tan game will find it easy to use.

The Boyfriend Cardigan Sweater is a gorgeous pink color! It is vibrant without being too in-your-face. The boyfriend (or grandpa) style cardigan is relaxed and slightly oversized. I’m wearing a medium, which is perfect for me.

The Tropicana Slip Dress will be just what I need to go out to dinner on the beach. The bold colors are perfect for a vacation or a quick weekend getaway. I love the simple yet chic style of this satin-like slip dress. You can’t see it, but the material is slightly textured and feels almost like crepe.

The straps are adjustable, and the back is elastic, so the dress has some give. I ordered a large, which is a little big under the arms. I think a medium might fit better, so I’m going to order it to see.

I ordered exactly the opposite of what I should have with the two dresses. I should have ordered a medium in the slip dress, and I needed a large for this side tie tank dress.

I bought a similar dress in orange last year, but I like this one even better. The Side Tie Tank Dress with Rouching doesn’t have to be tied; it comes this way. The dress is flattering because of the side tie and rouching, which helps to camouflage lumps and bumps in the stomach area. The dress is lined and feels high-end. The medium fits me like a glove, but I already have a large one coming my way to see if it fits better. The dress is also available in black, and that’s also coming my way. Lol!

I’ve been in a navy and green phase lately. Everything I’ve been ordering seems to be in one of these colors. The Brit Flap Front Crossbody Bag is a great way to add a small pop of color, and the color will work great for St. Patrick’s Day. The bag is under $20 and will keep you from getting pinched. Hahaha!
