Thirteen Great Trench Coats For You To Wear Now
Gurls, you have no idea how much time I spend thinking of these titles. Lol. I am laughing this morning because Thirteen Great Trench Coats For You To Wear Now sounds like I want you to wear thirteen trench coats at once. Ha!
I love a great trench coat. There’s just something romantic about it! Seriously, maybe it was all of those black-and-white movies I watched as a kid. Blame Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall!
Trench Coats From Nordstrom
Trench coats are chic; just ask any French woman. They elevate every outfit, and they also keep you warm and toasty when the weather isn’t playing nice. This trench has a modern twist on the classic design, and I thought this tan color would be great for fall. It also comes in a taupe/gray color which would have matched my boots perfectly.
Love this classic double-breasted coat from Sam Edelman. It’s got all the trademarks of a classic – the length, the notched lapel, the back flap, all rendered in the traditional khaki. Can you say, “Marlene Dietrich”?!
How chic is this?! Love the contrast trim on the belt and the back vent. If you’re a fan, you better act fast. Nordstrom clothing has a way of selling out fast!
The color of this is called Tan Starfish! Maybe I should get the person who names these colors to write my titles, Lol! I like the relaxed look of this coat. It’s made from cotton and a bit of spandex to give it a little stretch. It’s thinner than the first coat I showed you, so if you don’t love the thick, traditional trench, this is for you.
Trench Coat from Ann Taylor
Ooooh, this is pretty! If you are concerned that you’ll look like a spy from a vintage movie in a traditional trench, this fitted version is a great alternative. 🙂 The button-shoulder epaulettes are a chic touch!
Cropped Trench Coat
This Crop Trench Coat is boxy but in the cutest way. I figured that I would hate this coat (but I had to give it a try), and I have to say, I kind of like the look.
Even buttoned, which I never do, this coat is so modern and youthful looking. However, I ordered a large, and it is too roomy, and the sleeves are too long. I ordered a medium, and I’m crossing my fingers that size works for me. Unfortunately, the sizes are sparse, but hopefully, your size is available.
This Sapphire Blue Trench Coat is not only functional, it is stylish and colorful. Cobalt Blue is a trending color this fall, and I think this coat falls under that category.
This pretty blue color will lift your spirits on a dreary day, but if you prefer something more classic, it is also available in Biscotti and Black. I’m wearing a medium, and it fits me great.
Trench Coat from Lands’ End
It rains, and you’re going to need a coat. Why not look stylish while you’re at it?! This short, double-breasted trench coat looks great in dark navy, and because it’s from Lands’ End, you know it would also do its job and keep you dry.
Trench Coats from Target
A purist would say that a trench coat is supposed to keep you dry in wet weather. A fashion blogger would say, if it’s pretty, why save it for a rainy day? Lol. Target calls this a trench coat, and I like the Peter Pan collar, so it made the cut even though it’s not made of water-resistant material. The good news is that it comes in a ton of great colors, and it’s cute!
Another very unique and chic version of the trench coat from Target. Again, it’s more about keeping you warm than dry, but it’s so stylish! Love the side zipper and high collar.
Trench Coats from Amazon
I love including Amazon items when I can because they are almost always in stock and typically affordable. This is thinner than some of the ones above and a more relaxed fit. It comes in several colors and is just $45 dollars.
This looks similar to the one above, but it’s actually a slimmer fit. The reviews are good (1000+ and 4 stars), but most people suggest sizing down one size. I like the detailing on the shoulders and cuffs.
This coat comes in eleven great colors, but I really like that it includes a hood! When I was visiting my daughter in Alaska, I noticed that no one carried an umbrella. She informed me that umbrellas were for tourists, Lol. It did make me realize that wearing a coat with a hood was a smart way to keep your hands free for shopping!
Need more incentive to wear a trench coat? Well, maybe not all thirteen Great Trench Coats For You To Wear Now. Check out a couple of romantics in the pouring rain looking for a cat! If they can look this good soaking wet, imagine what you’ll look like.

Great selection! Thanks!
I LOVE trench coats! I had an olive one I wore for many years, so classic. I prefer the mid cold length. Thank you for some nice, affordable options!
I’m glad that you enjoyed this post! 🙂
A hood on a trench coat makes so much sense.
Trench coats are a must.
I agree!
I love all the trench coat ideas and especially the short ones. Great collection to choose from.
I’m glad you liked all of them.
OMG – I just found the exact same caterpillar web in one of our trees. This is my first encounter with these little buggers; it gave me the creeps! One a happier note, I love the trench coats.
Love the coats.
LOVE coats!!! However living in FL I only need a few days every year.
I love the Ann Taylor coat but also the one with a hood! Great idea!
