DID THE GROUNDHOG SEE HIS SHADOW

Howdy, partner!!! Don’t you just love my stance in this picture? Hahaha! I must have been channeling an old western spaghetti movie when I was taking these pictures. All I need is a cowboy hat and some spurs. Giddy up little doggies, go do your business this morning. I have been in the mood for some color in my life. We have had a really mild winter so far but the clothing is still dark and gray so today I decided to lighten the mood. How could anybody be sad or depressed in these colors?I don’t care what that stinking groundhog said, I am ready for spring. The sun is out and I hear birds chirping. BRING IT ON! Someone in the store today was telling the girls that the groundhog is always right. I guess that could be true because my weather is different from your weather. I might have six more weeks of winter and you might be going straight into spring. If any of you are from PA and you want to give us a Punxsutawney Phil lesson you go right ahead. Hahaha!I just love this turquoise button up shirt. It has a silky feel to the shirt and not like just a plain cotton feel. This shirt is one that I picked up when I was on my way to Atlanta one year. We stopped at an outlet mall and I bought this at Van Heusen. It is 80% rayon and 20% nylon. That is probably why it feels so silky.

Notice my chirping little bird? You can’t have spring without the birds. Lol! This is a necklace that surprised me. I thought the bird would be smaller and not near at well made. This is either metal or something real solid. It doesn’t say on the website and I can’t tell but either way, it is super nice. Today I am choosing to BELIEVE in the power of women. You’ll read a little more about that later on. Teaser alert! I love the Tiffany pendant. Yes, this is a pendant that I have attached to my bracelet. This bracelet was a special and is no longer available but you can buy the Brielle (red) or the Vicky (brown) instead. I also have a couple of bangles that I am wearing. The Candace has a pink tassel and a yellow and a turquoise key that dangle from you. I also have on two of the Lindy bangles in a “T” and an “S” just in case I forget my name. This canvas bag is one that is c/o  Eva Trends . I thought the colors went well with my pants. This is one sturdy bag. Here and here is where I collaborated with them last fall. I bet you don’t remember the last time I wore these pants. It was a DISASTER!!! Now, do you remember? If not, then go here, you won’t believe the difference. Lol! These pants are a pair of Ralph Lauren that I bought recently from TJ Maxx. I love the color of these pants, they are not a brown and they are not a caramel, but somewhere in between.

This long reversible vest is one I bought at a Woman’s Club Convention years ago. I bought this one and another one is reds. I like this one the most and I wear it quite a lot. I at first had it on with the lighter colors on the outside but ended up turning it around for the darker colors. I have a “thing” going about purple right now. I just bought a shirt with purples in it today.

Woman power and more specifically, over 50 woman power. I am joining in with #TheFierce50 a group of 50 bloggers over 50 (or soon to be) and we are striving to bring awareness to women in their 50’s. We want to show the world that we are a large group of women who have been neglected in the shopping industry.
