Here Are Lots of Cute Things On Order For Spring

The biggest disappointment I hear from my readers is when items are sold out. Today I’m giving everyone a head’s up on what I have on order so you have a chance to grab the items before they sell out. Here are the latest items I have ordered from several different stores and different price points. Some of these items have already arrived, and you’ll be seeing a lot of these on the blog in the coming weeks.

For sizing reference, I’m 5’6″ tall, weigh between 150-155, and I usually wear a size 8 in pants and a medium or large in tops. For dresses and swimsuits, I wear a size 12.

Chico’s

Chico’s is a retailer that I’ve been wearing for years, and I love that they focus on ladies that are over 35 or 40. The new arrivals are gorgeous, and I just kept finding things I “needed.” The Foliage Print Wide Leg Soft Crops and Foliage Print Blouse were the first things to hit my cart. I love bright colors, so I hope those look great once they arrive. I also have been wearing a lot of neutrals this year, and I can’t wait to style the Crochet Poncho and Square Dot Fringe Hem Crops. I just saw that they are having a 25% off select linen sale that ends tonight, so it looks like I need to go shopping again.

Talbots

Talbots is having their Friends and Family Sale now through May 1st. Talbots is a lot like Chico’s since they serve the same demographic audience. Both retailers have great quality clothing. I ordered more neutral items from Talbots like these navy linen pants. I plan on wearing it with this nautical striped shirt and navy sandals. I liked the Linen Ombre Stripe Palazzo Pants so much that I put them on here twice. Lol! I hope I only ordered them once. Haha! I ordered this white linen/cotton hoodie to go with them, and I plan on taking them to the beach with me in May.

Old Navy

Old Navy is a retailer that caters to everyone. Men, children, women, and they are also size-inclusive. That means that you can find most items in misses, plus, and petite sizes. I ordered two very colorful jumpsuits that I can’t wait to style for you. The Twist-Front Smocked Jumpsuit is almost sold out in the floral pattern, but it is available in a couple of other colors. The loose colorful jumpsuit still has plenty of sizes available since it just launched, but they won’t last long.

Banana Republic Factory

Banana Republic Factory is one of my favorite retailers which kind of shocks me. They carry mostly neutral colors and basic items. But, the quality is great, and so is the price point. The Twill Shirtdress and the Halter Trapeze Maxi dress have already arrived. I love the shirtdress so much that I’ve ordered the Oyster Pearl version also.

Kohl’s

I’m a HUGE fan of Draper James RSVP which is a special collection sold exclusively at Kohl’s. I can’t wait to get my hands on the gorgeous blue and white tie dress, and I’m crossing my fingers that it fits! The navy Summer Basket Tote Bag will look cute with it but can be carried with jeans too.

Walmart

I don’t have a lot on order from Walmart, but what I do is so pretty. The Eyelet Midi Dress comes in three colors, and I ordered the white and black ones. I wasn’t sure which size would fit me best, so I ordered the white one in large and the black one in medium. The Sleeveless Double Cloth Dress just came in, and I’m impressed with its quality. It is lined, so you can’t see through it at all. I’ve not tried it on yet, but if it fits and feels as soft as I think it will, I’ll order it in more colors.

J.Crew

My J.Crew order just came in today, and I love every piece of it! I sure hope it all fits because I’m keeping every single item if it does. The floral Slim-fit shirt is so pretty in person, and I love the look of the blue and white ruffle-trim striped shirt. Both shirts will look great with the Slim wide-leg jeans with the frayed hem.

Quince

Line, linen, and more linen. Who knew that you could buy linen pajamas??? Quince is a fairly new retailer to me, and it seems to be known for its $50 cashmere items. (BTW, I love those) I hopped on their website and saw all the linen items they had, and I might have gotten carried away. Lol! I can’t wait until they arrive to check out the quality and feel of everything.

Lilly Pulitzer

I ordered a Cane Tote last year from Lilly Pulitzer, and I loved carrying it all summer. Every time I carry it I get compliments on it. When I got an email from them showing the cork tote, I immediately placed an order, and I added the Beaded Hoop Earrings too.
