HOW I AM KEEPING MY HAIR COLOR VIVID & PROTECTED
As a blogger, I get asked a lot of questions. I am used to telling people how tall I am, how much I weigh, and what size clothing I wear. I share that personal information to help my readers make better choices on the size of clothing that they should order. But, the thing that I get asked MOST about is my hair! So, I’m sharing with all of you what products I am using.

When I was young, I had snow-white hair. This was me, probably around five years old. In my mind, I still have this color of hair.
However, in reality, by the time that I graduated high school, my beautiful white-blonde hair had turned a darker blonde.
To recapture the color of my youth, I visit the hair salon every 5 weeks for a cut and color. The collage above highlighted my recent hairstyle change since everyone wanted to see the new do from every angle.
I pay a lot to get the color that I want, and I love all of the different shades and variations of blonde that my magician of a hairdresser achieves. That is why I was thrilled to learn that Hair Biology had recently launched a new product line to help preserve its color.
It’s not just the color – my hair has changed as I’ve gotten older. Hormonal changes from menopause can also throw your hair for a loop. Have you noticed that the texture of your hair has changed? Mine is still coarse and thick, but most women start to experience hair loss as they age. Other factors, such as thyroid issues and stress, can also play a big role in hair loss.
Is it just me, or does it sometimes feel like the beauty industry forgot about us older ladies? It’s like our specific needs became invisible to them. Well, good news! Hair Biology was created just for us, and they have addressed the challenges that we face like dryness, frizz, thinning, and the decision on whether to embrace or fight going gray.
I took these photos right after I dried my hair. I only used Hair Biology Vivid & Protected Shampoo and Conditioner on my hair. My hair color looks as fresh as the day that I walked out of the salon, and it is as soft as can be.
The Sulfate-Free Color Brilliance Shampoo gently cleanses without stripping to protect against damage and fade. The Sulfate-Free Color Brilliance Conditioner helps protect against color fade and dullness by nourishing over-processed hair surfaces. I don’t want to see my money going down the drain, so keeping my hair color protected is a big deal to me.
I use the Color Sealing Mask with every other shampoo. I apply a quarter-sized amount and massage it into my hair instead of a conditioner. Then, I leave the mask on while I wash my body and shave my legs. All that is left to do is to rinse it out and dry my hair.
As we age, our hair starts to lose the beautiful shine that we had in our youth. A couple of squirts of the Silver Shine Serum gives my hair a healthy glow. You can use this lightweight cream on wet or dry hair since it isn’t greasy. Here is how I use the Silver Shine Serum.
The Silver Shine Serum is free of parabens and dyes and infused with biotin, known to support healthy-looking hair.
Here I am! I am in my 60s, and I am living life to its fullest. My hair is a wonderful reflection of the confident woman I’ve become, and Hair Biology is helping me to keep it that way.
I’ve been using Hair Biology products for over a year! Joe uses the Soft & Hydrated Line, and I’ve been using the Silver & Glowing Line. My daughter-in-law is a hairdresser, and I have access to any hair product that I want. However, I’ve not found any product that keeps my hair healthier and shinier than Hair Biology. I love the way my hair feels and looks with these products, and I enjoy all of the compliments that I get on my hair.

Oh my! You are ageless,Tania, simply ageless! Beautiful and bouncy, full of life!
Love the way your hair looks now, and you looked so beautiful in your high school photo. Most of us in our age group are no strangers to that hairstyle, and I had to get up extra early just to get it like that. By the way, I could listen to you talk all day with that lovely accent and sound of your voice. I’m from Brooklyn, NY, and it took me over 30 years to get rid of mine, as you can surely understand why.
Angie, I get tickled when people say that I have an accent. Lol! I can’t hear it of course, so I am like, “what accent?”
You are an amazing, beautiful woman. I see your post on facebook and you inspire me everyday. I do however take your advice on interchanging outfits. I am 58 years old. Work in a corporate company. Live in South Africa, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
You’re in your 60s? Holy cow, when did that happen? I honestly thought we were the same age (55).
Lol! Ann, that made me laugh! I started the blog at 55, and I turned 61 this past May.
