HOW TO DRESS BOHO CHIC
Gurl’s, this past weekend was quite an adventure. I had so much fun and ate some great food. AND, I also got to go on an emergency eye doctor visit with my Energizer Bunny Friend, so it has been VERY eventful. I did get to meet Beverly from BandBblog, and she is just as sweet and beautiful in person as she seems on the blog. Beverly is going with us when we go to Rosemary Beach Florida later in April, so maybe she and I can do some posts together then.
EBF discovered that she had put a deep scratch on her eye. Thankfully, the eye doctor was in the building right next to the restaurant, so we were able to get her in to see them. The eye doctor prescribed her some antibiotic drops which have done wonders for the eye already, but she was in a lot of pain and couldn’t hold her eye open or stand to look at the light. She even ate lunch in her sunglasses. It is funny how things work out because she had oral surgery two weeks ago, and was given a pain prescription that she had never filled. She was so miserable with the pain, but when she remembered the order, she had them fill it for her. The pills helped to ease the pain, but we decided to stay in the room that night instead of going out to eat. We made a meal of pepperoni and cheese. Lol!
I am glad that you like the new photographs that I have been using. You might remember that I mentioned that the photos were taken at our local Walmart, you will see their sign in the first photo I added. I love this gossamer boho scarf top that I just got. What interested me about the top was the billowy sleeves and the overall chic look. It is one size fits 2 – 12, and it is handwash only. Here is the link for the top.
I added the Cambrie and the long Pearl necklace for today’s look. The small dangling pearls on the long necklace echoed the stars on the top, and the gold rectangles on the Cambrie necklace echoes the elegance of the look. My Shaila pearl stud earrings are a nice large size, and they can be seen even with longer hair. These earrings are fantastic to wear to nicer events, such as weddings because they are elegant.
My ivory dress pants are a pair that I bought at Cato Fashions last year. I don’t wear dress pants that often, but I like having a pair of white, ivory, navy, and black on hand just in case I need them. The same is true with camisoles, I have several colors that I can wear, and I can find something to go with whatever I have on. I didn’t think to get a good picture of my Linen Slide shoes, but they will be great for summer. I like the buckle detail on the side and how easy they will be to slide on and go.

Thanks, Courtney Baldwin Photography, for the excellent photos!
