Days like this make me happy! For those of you who have been following my blog for a while, you know that I love finding stylish and affordable fashions. There are a few stores that I shop at all the time because I can rely on finding styles that I love and finding them at a great price. So, I was thrilled when Cato Fashions wanted me to style an outfit from their store. Shoot, I style outfits from their stores all the time. Lol! This navy linen blazer is what I call an essential item. It has a flattering one button closure, although I very rarely button my jackets, and it has a 3/4 cuffed sleeve. The 3/4 sleeve is my favorite length in a sleeve; it helps you to appear thinner. Take my word for it, but don’t ask me why. Lol! I have already started wearing linen items this spring, and I will wear them all summer long. This blazer is perfect for work or play. I am styling it in a professional setting here, but I can see this with a white t-shirt and jeans for a fantastic polished leisure look. Adding a blazer to your outfit is flattering, but it also gives you that put-together look that we should all be striving to attain. I am wearing a size large in the jacket. HERE is the link for this blazer and it is under $30.00! The top that I have on is a beautiful tie-front top. I had the top tucked inside my pants in the previous photos for a more polished look, but for a casual style, the ties are hanging loose. I like how this top is longer in the back so that it covers my backside. I am sure that you ladies understand what I am talking about. In case you are wondering, I am wearing a size large. This top is very thin and light because it is in a burnout style. According to an article I found online, “Burnout” fabric is one of the hottest trends in women’s fashion. … It’s a technique that gives fabric different textures by literally burning out a layer of the fabric with a chemical. The French call this process “broderie chimique” – which means “chemical embroidery.” Here is the link to this top, and it is under $20.00. I finished the look with the matching navy linen pants. Suits and the matching look is a hot trend right now., and I am thrilled that it is back. I think a matched look looks so nice and thank goodness I can quit trying to figure out how to pattern match. I love the trouser style leg and the cuffed hem on these pants, it is a classic style that you can wear for a long time. These are a linen blend of 55% linen and 45% rayon and are machine washable. I am not one to purchase clothing that requires dry cleaning. These pants are a size 12, although a 10 would have probably worked better since these are a tiny bit big on me. Here is the link for these pants and they are under $22.00.
This style outfit screams confidence. I know that I look stylish, trendy, and put together. And, I will be the only one who also knows that I didn’t spend a fortune to acquire all of the above. Be sure to check out the Cato Fashions website for more fashions. I have a few more items that I will be styling on the blog soon.

Hi Tania. I’ve just subscribe to your blog after finding you on Pinterest. I love your style. I’m 60 and only 5’3″ tall and top heavy. Could you tell me how tall you are?
