Joe and I went out to eat last night for his birthday and our son and his family joined us. I took my laptop and sat worked on the blog while he went to his board meeting before we went out to eat. Little Miss Emersyn was mostly concerned about Pa getting some birthday cake for his birthday. I am not sure if she was concerned for “him” or if she was concerned that “she” might not get any. Lol! Little Beckham is just 7 months old so he is not able to eat real food yet but he did get to at least eat a little bit of baked potato.I wanted to let you know that I read your comments to Joe as we drove to his meeting. He laughed at some of them and wanted to know why I was mentioned in the comments, after all, it was HIS birthday and he thought the day should have been ALL about him. Lol!!! Today’s post is going to be short and sweet. I have been trying to bring you some before and after looks, such as how to go from a dressy look to a casual look. This outfit is a dressier version of yesterday’s post. I left some of the items the same but I changed up just a few things to have a totally different vibe going on.Recognize the graphic sweater and vest? I decided to leave them the same because it is easier to change out tops and have a different look than it is the bottom half of an outfit. We don’t pay that much attention to pants, except when they are something that stands out like the camo pants from yesterday. They were more of a statement and therefore they were more memorable.I wanted to go for a dressier look so I started with the jewelry. I added my pearl and large rhinestone stud earrings. I love these but they are no longer on the Plunder webpage. I should have worn the Jess Mo which matches the necklace anyway. Then guess what? The necklace is not available but the Paris necklace that matches the earrings is. Lol!!! The great thing about Plunder in that a lot of their jewelry is made to mix and match. Shock!!! The Flora bracelet with the large pearls and the chunky silver chain is still available. WHAT? Lol! This time of year is always very frustrating for me trying to link to the jewelry when they are getting to launch the new products coming out in April. So, I changed out of the trendy camo pants with star highlights and instead chose to wear a pair of Ponte knit pants by Cato Fashions. This pair is stretchy and with a pull on design. They actually remind me of the old stirrup pants we use to wear so long ago without the stirrups. Even though this is a comfortable pair of pants they are a lot more dressy than the camo pants from yesterday. The small geometric print on the pants and the graphic sweater make this look modern.
Adding my Coach classic black pumps also stays with the dressy vibe. I could wear this pair of shoes even with shorts, they are classic and they can go with anything. This look might not be for some but I wanted to show you that even if your wardrobe is small that you can tweak your look by changing only a few items. I hope you liked the before and after, from casual to dressy looks. If you want to see more posts of this nature be sure to let me know.

I like how you changed up the outfit. Amazing how different the look is with just a couple quick changes! Glad you guys had a great birthday dinner. I think you are both pretty lucky to have each other! Have a great weekend!
Tania, this outfit is so much more feminine then the camo pants. Yes, more chic but great for everyday wear too. Maybe the shoes make it more elegant? Love to learn that a graphic shirt goes with these pants, would never have thought of it. I so appreciate your blog! Very inspiring! Unfortunately, I can not buy from most of your stores since they only ship to the USA but because of you, discovered Old Navy which is in the city.
Tania, I love how you changed up your outfit from yesterday by changing the pants, shoes, and jewelry. I also love that you took the clothes from your closet and made it work. Wish Joe a happy belated birthday from me in Idaho!
I like this idea of giving us style options w a few quick changes.
