How to Make Your Home Smell Festive (Without Being Overpowering)
Long-time readers know that I don’t do well with fragrances. But I get it! There’s just something about a cozy home that smells amazing this time of year, cinnamon, vanilla, pine, or even a hint of sandalwood. The trick is finding scents that feel inviting without being too strong. I’ve done my research, and whether you’re team wax melt, diffuser, or candle, here are some great ways to fill your home with warmth and fragrance this season.

🙂 So many different types…who knew?! I use a candle warmer now and I love it. To me, the scent is stronger than lighting the candle, which I like. I’ve use the wax melt warmer also. But I now prefer the candle warmer with the lamp. I really like the candle/mug warmer. What a great stocking stuffer!! I put one in my shopping cart.

I used to burn candles all the time – even accidentally left a lit one going all night. I don’t burn them anymore. I should try one of these other ways to have a fragrant home. 🙂
Burning candles always worried me unless they were very stable and in a large container. Even then, I know of a family who had an animal knock over the candle which caught their house on fire.
