I am not sure if it is just me, but I feel like Crocodile Dundee in this outfit. Lol!!! I am not sure if the leopard print, the black-coated jacket, or the baggy chino pants that are giving me that vibe. I’ve worn camel items before, so I don’t think that it is the color. But, I keep finding myself wanting to say, “That’s a knife!” 🗡  😆

Talk about a tonal photo! The coco mat that I am standing on, my shoes, pants, shirt, coat, belt, welcome sign, and door all create this tonal photo. Heck, even my hair is wind-blown, which seems to go with the whole theme. I need to hop in my open-top Jeep, grab my binoculars, and go and see what kind of wildlife that I can spot. So far, the only wildlife that I’ve spotted has been JOE, but he doesn’t count. Lol!

I just got this leopard print v-neck t-shirt, and I love it! This v-neck tee is my favorite tee, and I have it in multiple colors. I wore the same t-shirt in the International Woman’s Day post, and I also own it in pale pink, dark pink, gray, navy, green, blue, and probably more that I left out. A t-shirt is versatile and can be worn dressy as well as with a casual outfit. They are inexpensive, and you will get your money’s worth from them.

Most of the time, I will order a large in my t-shirts. I never know if they will shrink, and I like them to fit somewhat loose. I think that these tees wash up well, and I’ve not had any shrink on me yet.

The temperatures have been nice for the past few days, but the day I wore this outfit, it was cold outside. I started to put on a classic denim jacket, but I decided to grab this black-coated moto jacket instead. I love this jacket, it looks like a leather jacket, but it isn’t as heavy or thick. The jacket has stretch to it, so I don’t feel confined when I move about. Plus, it is edgy and youthful-looking.

This jacket is by Liverpool Los Angeles, and I am wearing a size large. I think the jacket runs true to size since this one fits me so well.

This loose-fit trend is going to take me a while to get used to. I love how these high-rise girlfriend chinos feel when you are wearing them, but I am not sure that I like the way they LOOK on me. They are not too big; they are made to fit this way. After years and years of wearing skinny jeans, wearing baggier fitting clothing will take some adjustment.

Joe is still on the fence with this look. When I first walked through the kitchen, it was a hard NO from him. But, after he had seen me wearing them all day, that night he was a MAYBE. I didn’t jump in with both feet on the skinny jean trend, but it still grew on me. So, that is how I think this loose fit trend will do also. I am wearing my usual size 10, and they fit me great…really.

Who would have thought that I would ever like wearing a belt? I still don’t like drawing attention to my waist, but when I wear a jacket or cardigan to hide my sides, I don’t mind it as badly. Plus, the addition of the belt makes an outfit look finished and put together. It is like wearing lipstick or jewelry; it complements and completes the look.

I am wearing a Madewell Perfect Leather Belt in large. When I bought the belt, we were wearing our pants lower, but now that we are wearing high-rise pants, I need to order the medium.

I am wearing the large AVI hoops in gold, and the Elisa gold vermeil pendant with TANIA monogrammed on it for jewelry. I love this monogrammed pendant, and I think that it makes a fabulous gift. Think “mama” for the first baby, or as a graduation gift with their name or the year.

I am celebrating this month because it is Joe’s Birthday month. He told me that I couldn’t make a big deal out of his birthday. I don’t think that announcing for the entire world to see is making a big deal. Lol! So, randomly, each week, I am going to pick a winner for a gift. The gifts will vary in size and price, and I will pick the winner from the comments that I receive during the week.

This past week’s winner is…..Rory! Keep commenting, and you might be next week’s winner.

Tan has never been my color since my fair skin & blonde hair blend right in w the tan. But that black jacket make it work for you. And as always, I love your posts!

First let me say that you always look great in whatever you have on, but I don’t think these chino pants flatter you. Is there a fit that is between skinny and straight? lol I do love the T-shirt and jacket, and the Crocodile Dundee reference is hilarious! Thank you for your inspirational posts!!

You are too funny! I love the tee and jacket, but not really digging the pants. You are beautiful as always.

I love v neck t shirts, but I don’t like when they’re really low cut. Do you know of any that are a little higher?

  5. I like the looks on you and the Croc references are hilarious! The tee and jacket are my favorites. I don’t think I could get into the looser fit pants or the high waist. I have a short rise so all that extra fabric just bunches up and adds weight to my frame. Some trends just aren’t for me!

  6. I’m with you on the looser fit pants. I’m sure once I get used to them I will enjoy wearing them, but for now it’s a let’s try it attitude for me.

I think it looks great! Love that moto jacket!

Really like this. You always look superb.

  9. You look cute as always! I love the jacket and leopard t-shirt. The girlfriend chinos are a “no” for me! Some trends are harder to embrace than others.

  10. Can’t say I like the loose look with the Chinos. I don’t like a skinny jean either (fat legs). I like the loose look when it’s just the legs that are loose and the top looks like it fits. Maybe I’ll change my mind though.
