How To Wear Pink In The Winter
Pink is my favorite color!!! I LOVE wearing pink, and it is a beautiful color that brings a smile to my face. I wear a lot of pink in spring and summer, and I’ve been finding ways to incorporate it into fall and winter. So, sit back and get comfortable while I show you how to wear pink in the winter.
Here are a few of the many posts I’ve written on wearing pink.
How To Wear Pink In The Winter
I love this Neon Pink Hooded Puffer Jacket! It is warm and will brighten your mood in two shakes. This puffer is great for taking a walk in winter, and the storm cuffs help to keep your hands protected. You can add this puffer to any of your outfits, consider it a pretty neutral that goes with everything.
How To Wear Pink In The Winter – Tops
Wearing pink tops is the easiest way I can wear pink in the winter. Each season is known for the shades of color; spring is when you usually wear soft, pastels. In winter, I usually wear more saturated, jewel-tone colors.
This Rhinestone Embellished Crewneck Sweater is about as saturated as it comes. The vivid pink sweater doesn’t need anything else to grab attention, but just in case someone might not see you, the sweater also has rhinestone embellishments.
This sweater is relaxed and slightly oversized. I love the length, which looks great with the bootcut jeans. I’m wearing a medium, and if you want a slimmer fit, I would suggest sizing down.
Apparently, a half-tuck and a front-tuck are on their way out, at least according to Gen Z’s. Honestly, I usually prefer a front tuck for proportion reasons, plus it looks slightly more dressy. Like always, fashion is a personal choice, and since we are NOT Gen Z’s, I think we should wear what makes us happy.
This Tie Sleeve Top is dressier than the embellished sweater. It would look beautiful with a pair of dress pants or a skirt, but I chose to wear it with a pair of bootcut jeans. I love a v-neck top since it elongates your neck and helps you look taller and thinner.
If you’ve tried Kut From The Kloth jeans, then you already know they fit great and are extremely comfortable. Kut From The Kloth jeans have stretchy denim, which lets the jeans move with you and makes bending and sitting more comfortable. I’m wearing my usual size 8, and they fit me well.
How To Wear Pink In The Winter – Coats
I must love pink coats because I have a lot of them. When I went to my coat closet, I found one that I bought from Talbots last year. Downstairs is one that I bought from Sam Edelman, and this one from Loft has also found a spot in my closet. Lol! They are each different, but the color is very similar.
I like a big pop of color, especially in the winter months. Everything around me is blah, brown, and looks depressing. Adding bright colors to my wardrobe makes me feel alive, and they brighten my day as well as my face. Let me show you an example of how color can make a big difference.
Don’t get me wrong, I love this Lauren Ralph Lauren Faux Leather Trim Wool Blend Longline Coat. It is gorgeous, and the faux leather trim collar is a nice style detail. The black coat looks great with the outfit, and I’m sure a lot of you prefer it over the pink one. But I love bright colors, so I would choose pink. There is no right or wrong choice; it is a matter of preference. The coat is on sale, and the black has already sold out, but the camel version is still available in a few sizes.
The reason this Wool Blend Coat got to stay at my house when I already have similar coats is because of the length. The other coats I have are shorter, and I love that I can wear this one with dresses, etc.
