Taylor Swift isn’t going anywhere, and we’re not either! In the spirit of if-you-cant-beat-them-join them, we’re going full Swifty. Today, I’m sharing how to wear Taylor Swift-Evermore Era looks for women over 50.

Let’s start with the album Evermore. The cover is a simple photo of the back of Taylor standing in a field and wearing a plaid coat. The aesthetic is earth tones, and it has autumn, fall, dead leaves, the weather is dropping, winter is coming vibes all over it!

How To Wear Taylor Swift-Evermore Era Looks for Women Over 50 – Corduroy

This outfit is one of my best sellers of the year. If you missed it when I posted it earlier, now is your chance to get this gorgeous plum leopard print shirt and plum corduroy pants. My leaves turn this beautiful shade, so I think this would be a Taylor-approved look.

Corduroy is having a moment, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect. I love these high-rise flare cords. While they are technically flare, I’d call them more boot cut than anything. Just $40, you can wear these with sneakers or booties. The Evermore aesthetic is earth tones, but they are also available in black.

I purchased these in cream recently, and I LOVE them. They are very flattering, and I love that they have an elastic waist and are easy to pull on. They come in several colors, including other earth tones such as tan and green. These are true flares, but not so wide as to be ridiculous. lol

How To Wear Taylor Swift-Evermore Era Looks for Women Over 50 – Plaid

This black and white Plaid Double Breasted Long Peacoat looks similar to the coat Taylor was wearing a couple of weeks ago. Hers was more oversized, but I like a more tailored look, so I ordered a size down.

Here is a closer view of the coat’s details. Because this is a Taylor Swift inspired outfit, I had to add a red lip. I chose pink/red instead of red/red for this look. It is a NARS Long-Lasting Lip Pencil in the color Dragon Girl. I have an upcoming post on how to get the perfect red lip, and this one will be included in it, too.

Obviously, with Taylor in a plaid coat on the cover, that’s a look we’re going to steal! This oversized button-down can be worn as a shirt or over a tank/top for a great shacket. I love these colors, but there are others if you’re not a fan. It looks heavy, but the reviews say that it’s fairly lightweight.

Here’s a sophisticated way to wear the Evermore aesthetic. You can’t go wrong with a wool blend trench coat! Taylor Swift may be trending, but this trench coat will be in style for a very long time. This tends to run small, so pay close attention to the sizing and order accordingly.

Winter will be here before you know it, and a long peacoat in plaid is a very fashionable way to stay warm. I chose this color because of the red tones, which are similar to the one Taylor wears, but it comes in several other combinations. The grey version is particularly nice. These run true to size, so you should be safe ordering your usual.

Speaking of earth tones! This gorgeous coat is available from Nordstrom. It’s rendered in brushed fleece, and I love the unique detail of the large pockets. It’s midi length, and for reference, a medium is 42″ long. If you like it, you’d better hurry. Nordstrom sells out fast.

How To Wear Taylor Swift-Evermore Era Looks for Women Over 50 – Flannel

I’ve always loved flannel. I have so many memories of my dad wearing flannel shirts during the winter months. Flannel shirts can be masculine, but there’s nothing masculine about this cute dress! This is 100% cotton, so normally, I’d suggest sizing up to allow for shrinkage, but the reviews say this runs large. It’s a cute look for just $32!

Here’s another cute option! If you’re not a fan of dresses or like them longer, you can still make this work over a pair of leggings or skinny jeans. The belt is removable if you prefer. Like the dress above, it’s 100% cotton, so you might consider sizing up one size to allow for shrinkage. Be sure and check out the other versions if you want a different color combo.

How To Wear Taylor Swift-Evermore Era Looks for Women Over 50 – Trousers

Yes, you can incorporate the Evermore aesthetic into your professional wardrobe. These pintuck plaid pull-on pants from Nordstrom are gorgeous! I love the detail of the adjustable belt on the back of the waist. These look VERY expensive but are just $58! What a chic and classy way to rock the Evermore Era!

Let me know what you think about these Taylor Swift posts. Whatever your feelings are about her, I think these looks are very stylish!

I’ll leave you with one of my favorite songs from the album. This is called Marjorie and is about her grandmother. Spoiler alert: Grab your tissues.

Thank you for show casing some flannel dresses. I too find most flannel to be masculine. I try to look femine without having to wear pink or pastels.
