I THINK THIS IS THE PERFECT DRESS FOR AN INDOOR SUMMER WEDDING

 

I get a lot of messages about what to wear to a wedding. The answer varies from person to person and wedding to wedding. Some weddings are casual, and others are very formal. Also, the venue matters, and whether you are indoors or outdoors. Today, I am going to show you my choice for an indoor wedding.

This colorful tropical shirt dress makes a big statement, and I think it would be perfect for a summer wedding! Sassy, colorful, fun, stylish, and flirty would all be words that I would use to describe this dress and the person wearing it!

 

 

It is perfect for kicking up your heels and dancing the night away. The dress swishes and swirls, and you will feel like you are on Dancing With The Stars when you are on the dance floor in this dress!

 

 

The dress is so comfortable, which is very important. And, it is machine washable, which is another important detail.

 

 

I love the midi length of this dress because it gives you a lot of coverage, but it still gives a glimpse of your leg. That is a sexy look and looks much nicer than a mini-skirt, in my opinion.

Even though the temperatures were in the 90s, I didn’t get overly hot when I took these photos. Well, I didn’t until I got in the car to change clothes. Then, I was suffocating because the car was so hot. I’ve got to remember to leave the car running while I am taking photos.

 

 

Even though it looks like I was walking down the steps, instead, I had lost my balance and was trying to keep from falling. Lol! That’s what happens when you are twirling around on steps. Haha!

 

 

There were many other shoe colors that I could have worn, but I loved the bright hot pink pumps that I’ve owned for years. A neutral pair, white, navy, or even turquoise, would have also looked cute, but I am sure partial to these pink babies. I’ll link to some similar shoes that would have looked (almost) as cute!

The dress fits me everywhere except through the chest. One of the buttons is trying to gape open, so I would have needed a larger size. I am wearing a medium, and even though it fits me everywhere else, it will have to go back. This style of dress is supposed to be loose and flowy and not touch you anywhere. I can never gauge if I will wear a medium or a large, and I guessed wrong this time. I usually wear a 12 in a dress for sizing reference.
