IRONING - NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THATIt was beautiful this weekend. It was hot and the sun was shining, it made me really long for summer to hurry up and get here. You might remember me talking about our grass overhaul this past fall. We killed all the grass, it was like a dust bowl, and then re-sowed the grass and threw all kinds of fertilizer on it. I swear you can just sit and watch the grass grow. Lol! I think the lawnmower is going to be worn out before the summer is over.IRONING - NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THATEmersyn came over for a little while on Sunday. We played with bubbles, we ran all over that plush grass kicking the soccer ball, and then we got out the chalk again. It was so hot and I didn’t want her to get sunburned so we went under the carport and drew rainbows. She loved drawing smiley faces and roads. She then laid down on the asphalt and wanted me to draw around her little body. She added eyes and hair and she laughed and laughed. We had a blast!!!IRONING - NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THATShe wanted me to draw her a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Lol!IRONING - NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THATI don’t wear a lot of button-down shirts or button-up shirts either. Hahaha! Probably the biggest reason is because I don’t want to iron if I don’t have to. As I said in the title, “Nobody got time for that!” I found this shirt, and a couple more, at Van Heusen a couple years ago. I have worn these several times and they NEVER have to be ironed. I think I am in love! This shirt is tailored, you can see the darts around the chest area, and this gives you a slimmer silhouette.

IRONING - NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THATI actually have new jewelry on. WooHoo!!! It is taking me a little while to accumulate some of the new pieces but I am doing my best to get them. It is a rough job, buying jewelry, but I am willing to put myself out for you like that. Lol! The silver set is very cute and really substantial. It is not exactly “heavy” but it is not light either. The earrings are called the Anyssa and the necklace is called the Abigail. I like the simple knot design because it can be worn with jeans or a dress.IRONING - NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THATThe Noah is the name of the pearl lanyard. It does not come with anything attached, I attached a pendant that I already had. It is double sided and it says “Happiness looks gorgeous on you” on one side and “Choose Happy” on the other side. This pendant has been retired but there are plenty others to choose from. These are hand soldered and are extremely nice. I think I am going to order the Grateful Heart one next. I have opened a new party and that URL is plunderdesign.com/party/tania8 so if you click on a link and it does not tell you that you are shopping in this party, please let me know.IRONING - NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THATI am a jeans girl in the fall and winter but when spring and summer come I will be more in crop pants and shorts. I like the skinny jeans but I admit that the boot cut is growing on me. It is all about proportion. Look how your body looks (shape) and see how you need to balance out the bottom half. I usually buy my jeans at Old Navy or Maurice’s and occasionally at TJ Maxx.

IRONING - NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THATThis is what happens when your mother calls and you are taking pictures. You talk to your mother!!! Haha! I have a cute little pair of ballet flats on in navy. These are by Isaac Mizrahi and they are pretty comfortable. The thing to look for when buying a shoe like this is a little padding in the sole. You don’t want the mocassin effect of walking on just a piece of leather. Your feet will not be happy about that.

IRONING - NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THATFor my birthday month, I want to give you something instead of getting presents. Each week on Friday I will be giving away something small. I am sure it will be Plunder or Rodan and Fields related since those are products I have in stock. It is hard for me to express how grateful I am that these companies came into my life. I find it hard to believe that everyone doesn’t want to join in this journey. I felt the same way when I was President of my local woman’s club. I could not figure out why any woman would not want to be a part of an organization that helps other women. That is exactly how I feel about Plunder and Rodan and Fields. Plunder is a jewelry company that goes to extremes to promote women and friendships. Rodan and Fields is a skincare company that has changed so many peoples lives by giving them great skin. If you had ever talked to some of these ladies who had terrible acne or rosacea and are now able to go out in public without makeup you would understand.

I want to thank everyone who has signed up for my emails. I promise you only get one email a day from me and I don’t give out your email addresses, that would just be weird. Lol!  I am only 40 away from that magical 5000 mark, woohoo!  PLEASE take the time to signup!!! Also, if you would like to share my posts on Facebook or Twitter, I would appreciate that. It helps get my blog out to more people, and I am sure you just want to spread the entertaining sayings I have. Lol! The comment section is at the end of the post, so keep scrolling. I look forward to reading all the comments, they make my day.

  1. Such a perfect outfit! I love blouses that have flattering darts like this one you are wearing. Don’t love ironing though…it’s such a bonus when you find one that is iron free.

  2. Therese W says:

Actually, I enjoy ironing! And I watch movies while I iron, bring on the wrinkles!

  3. Charlcy Green says:

Oh I just love it when you share details about your life! I look forward to your real-life blog every morning, Tania. And today’s should get a prize, with Emersyn’s drawings, her cute little blonde head and your pot of gold! The new jewelry is super and I like today’s outfit as well. Maybe sometime you could show us your new lawn and your home? If love that! Have a super blessed day!

Love the look…classic! Tania I placed my first Plunder order last Sunday…I hope I did it correct and went under your party…how long does it usually take to receive?

  5. love the look and the jewelry, I iron my son’s clothes for school and mine for work every morning.

  6. Cute outfit today!!!

  7. Love this look Tania, and love your jeans and your shirt. I’m always on the look out for a great pair of comfy but nice looking jeans, and thanks to you I found a pair at Catos but could use another! As for ironing, I’ve always hated it, so last month I was on the look out for a good clothes steamer, and guess what…found a brand new Conair at our Goodwill for $3.49! I can have my outfit looking crisp and wrinkle free under 5 minutes!

Love your fresh look you always wear. Blue is diffently your color thanks for sharing with us.

  9. I like this outfit, casual and dressed up, of course, with all the jewelry!! . I love your drawing, what a fun grandma, I loved drawing with the grands, but now they are to old for that. 🙁 Oh well, now we are getting into everything else, whatever that is for pre-teens. LOL I was wondering if you were going to open another party, I was just about to order some of the pieces you had on this past week. And I don’t iron, either, I use “wrinkle release”, hang, spray, tug and ready to go.. TA DA!! 😉 20 + years of mine and hubby’s Navy uniforms, stopped me from that.(Definitely, “ain’t got no more time for that!)
    Have a great day..

  10. I’m with you on the “no ironing”! I hate it. I do like your look though as I wear button up shirts! ( only if they’re wrinkle free). Thanks for your email

  11. Nice look………Adorable pics of Emersyn and your pot of gold !!!! ~Lisa~

I have a hard time wearing flats because I have plantar facititis…I have found a way to be able to wear them though,I put a small half insole/arch support in them…It has saved me throwing alot of my flats in the garbage and my feet are more comfortable!

  13. You look classy and comfortable, love the jewellery! Yes I hate ironing too, from the clothes drier, I always hang things straight up, when the drier stops, but everyone knows this! My teenage daughters, who do their own washing and drying are not into ironing, but I encourage them to look well groomed and ironed! I sound like my mother, but she was right too, you look crisp and fresh Tania!

    1. That is by Dooney & Bourke.

  14. I love your new jewelry! I already have the Noah lanyard and these pieces look fantastic with it!

  15. Jackie Davis says:

A classic look! What color is the lip stick you have on today?

    1. I honestly don’t know, Jackie. I should write down what color I use daily but that would be way too organized for me. Lol!

  16. I have some similar flats but am wondering if anyone on here has Tiek shoes? I keep reading reviews of them but they are so dang expensive!!! I am on my feet for 6-8 hours a day at work and need really comfortable shoes. Do these have the cushioning and arch support that they say? Anyone know????

    1. I have heard good things about Tieks also. So far I haven’t found a “style” that I am willing to pay that much for. I think my daughter bought a pair a couple years ago so I will ask her.

  17. Cute look, but mostly I love the title of your post. As I was in the corporate world my hubby always ironed – perfect! Now I have to – argh – hate it 😉

That is a classic style! I really love your sense of style.
