JEANS, BOOTS, AND T-SHIRTS
How funny is this? When I wrote my post on Saturday, I had no idea that I had a shirt with the saying, “Oh by Golly, Have a Holly Jolly Christmas.” I laughed and laughed when I saw my shirt and read what it said. I couldn’t have planned that if I had tried. Haha! I am sure that my sub-conscious remembered me buying this shirt even if my blonde-conscious completely forgot. lol!
This is what I wore to go shopping the other day. I was looking for a few Christmas presents so I thought I would look the part. It has still been warm here so I didn’t have to wear a coat with this shirt. I hate having to wear a coat when I am shopping, it is such a pain. The coat is bulky when you are driving and it makes you too hot. You take off the coat while you are driving and then you have to scramble to put it back on to walk into the store. Then you have to take it off again once you are in the store because you get hot again. Off and on, off and on, I just hate the whole process. Most of the time, unless it is freezing outside, I just leave the coat in the car and walk really quickly into the store.
I am glad it was warm so that you could see the lace detail on the sleeves. I also bought Emersyn a similar shirt that had the lace sleeves on the same day. This was from a new boutique in town called Trendy Threads and was a brand called Southern Grace. I love the tea stained color of the shirt, it gives it that vintage feel.

I went light on the jewelry but I did want to still wear jewelry. I have the Annie and the Angie on today. For a necklace that I didn’t think I would like, I sure am wearing it a lot. (Here) The red bracelet came with my Posse watch necklace and it is not available for purchase. If you are wondering what the Plunder Posse is, it is a $25.00 subscription service where you receive a surprise gift each month. You can cancel the subscription any month you do not like that month’s item.
December’s item is a 28″ necklace. Joining is easy, just click here.
I picked a brown crocodile print purse by GILI to carry. I thought the red in the sleeves and the boots were plenty of colors so I wanted to tone it down with my purse. The magnetic bracelets are both new, they are part of the Christmas specials that Plunder is offering. The red one is called the Kylie, and the green one is called the Gage
I have a pair of Vigoss jeans on that I bought at Maurice’s last year. These are skinny jeans which are easier to tuck down inside of boots. I have to wear socks with my Hunter boots (I hate wearing socks) because the rubber is cold and your feet will sweat.
I have my red Hunter boots on again today. I thought about wearing my Tiffany Blue pair but they were in the back of the closet and I didn’t feel like dragging them out. You can’t really tell in these photo’s but the boots had developed a white film on them. That is quite normal with rubber boots and an easy fix. I used olive oil and just rubbed them down pretty hard.
I applied the olive oil on the one on the right and let it sit overnight. I wanted to make sure that the boot was not just shining because it had oil on it. Can you tell the difference?
Today is December 5th and that doesn’t mean much to most of you, but it means a lot to Rodan and Fields consultants who know people in Australia. Today is the day that anyone in Australia who is interested in becoming an R & F consultant can pre-sign up. This is free, no obligation, and no products will be available for purchase, but the training from top leaders can start. It is super exciting to be launching the number 1 anti-aging brand in the United States into another country, Canada launched last February. The Australian launch, when everyone will be able to purchase products, will be this February (I think). The doctors, Rodan and Fields, are the same doctors who created ProActive (the number 1 acne medication in the world) and that product is now sold in 181 countries. Do you see where this is going? I am thrilled that I signed up as a consultant, even though I am about 5 years late to the party. I can see that this product and this brand is going to be HUGE!
This came in the mail today. It is my first time qualifying for a gift from Rodan and Fields. I told Joe that my goal was to eventually qualify for bigger and bigger gifts, with the mack daddy gift being a new Lexus. I admit that is a pretty lofty goal, but why have goals that are easily reached?
When you ask how you eat an elephant, the answer is, “one bite at a time.” This is my first bite. I may not be anywhere close to getting a new car, but every time I grab my keys I will be reminded of my goal. Do you have goals? Would you like to hear more about a company that is expanding at a crazy rapid pace? Ask yourself these questions:
- Do I like getting products at cost?
- Would I like some extra income?
- Do I know people?
- Do I have an email account, any other social media account?
- Would you like to spend more time with your family?
- Want to know how it can be possible to retire in 3 to 5 years?
- Would you like to learn how you can earn your own new Lexus?
If you are from Australia, click here to start eating your own elephant. For everyone who does the signup this week I will be sending you Microdermabrasion packets or Essential Sunscreen. Send me a referral for more incentives. Email me for more information. fiftyisnotold@gmail.com

Mechele, I normally wear a large in tops but this one is a small. I would probably be the most comfortable in a medium.
Please Include me in the specials!

I’m not much of a t-shirt gurl either, Jess. BUT, occasionally I want to be casual and comfy. When that happens out comes the t-shirt. Lol! Thanks for the invite.
What a cute outfit! I have a similar shirt & now I need to buy some hunter boots! I have to try to keep up with my favorite fashion blogger! Ha! Please include me in your specials email! Have a very blessed Monday, Tania!
Cute outfit! Love it. When I’m doing serious shopping I can’t even stand a purse. I have to have the cross sholder purse and no coat as well. I take a small fold up should shpping bag as well.
My daughter has NEVER carried a purse. She only carries her id and cards in her back pocket. I would go crazy.
Tania, I love everything you do! So adorable! Love the top and those boots are to die for. Thank you again for all you do. Your blog is the best! I feel like I am sitting down with one of my besties when I read your blog.
That is really, really sweet. I have come to think of all of you as my friends. It is amazing how that happens when you have never met in person.
You are too cute!
I also love the top……may I ask what size you purchased? thanks!!! Is it all cotton or a poly mix?
Debbie, I normally wear a large but this is a small. You just have to try some things on to tell. It is a cotton poly blend with a small amount of spandex.
I love that top! And my preschool kiddos would have loved it too! Now I wear that fun stuff to remind myself of the joy in the season! We had over 6 inches of snow yesterday so that REALLY got me in the Christmas spirit. Please add me to your specials list.
Wow!!! I love snow and I can’t wait till we get a little. Hopefully sometime this week or next.
I love love the shirt.
Cute outfit! Love the red boots. Please add me to your specials list. Thanks!
You are added!
Very youthful, festive and fun! Love this look! I’d love to see it styled with another shoe choice. Have a great day!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the t-shirt!!! Do they happen to sell online? Please add me to your specials list.
I didn’t find it online, but I was really sleepy when I was looking. Lol! It may be on there if you look around on Amazon, and Google. I added you.
What a fun outfit, especially for Christmas shopping! Love the lace edging on the sleeves. You look so festive.
I agree, Doreen. I love the lace, it makes it look special, and not just like a regular t-shirt.
T shirt is cute cute cute. I would like to get your specials too. Thank you. Have a wonderful Monday.
Thanks, Sharon. Mondays are always special. I hope yours is great!
The Christmas spirit is alive and well !!!!!!?
I am trying hard, Donna!!

Oh Tania, I love this t-shirt so much – I would really like to have one myself 😉
Have only just started my Christmas shopping – am going to have to get into it this week and a top like that would really help 😉
Today I posted about the Salzburg Christmas market – that’s enough to get anyone into the Christmas spirit: http://funkyforty.com/salzburg-7-christmas-market-surprises/
LOL Yvonne
Oh, I love Christmas markets. That sounds like fun!
You really are in the Christmas Spirit aren t you? Fantastic, I love it!
I am trying the “fake it till you make it” strategy. I hope it works. Haha!
What a fun t-shirt! I can’t imagine being in shirt sleeves here though, we’ve been in minus figures overnight for a week! ❄️ I’m sure I’ve said it before, you always look so well turned out and beautifully presented. You’re an inspiration to us all.
I am trying to take advantage of it while I can, Caroline. The forecast is for very cold weather to be here this week. Brrrrr.
