LOOKING PUT TOGETHER WHILE LOUNGING
Some of you might have been fast enough yesterday to see that I published a post on shapewear. That was not supposed to have been published yet. I hadn’t finished the post. I wasn’t happy with the pictures because the white was not the best color option to show details. The only choice that could have been worse would have been black. Lol! And, I had some codes also that hadn’t yet been entered. I went it to delay the publishment date but I must not have hit the update button. ?
I was so confused when I got up and saw that I had comments on that post that I had postponed! Eeeek! I was scrambling around trying to figure out how to put the Genie back in the bottle and finally, I just gave up and sent the entire post to the trash. I do plan n taking pictures again this weekend with hopefully a more photogenic top on so that you have a better view of all of my rolls that I try so hard to hide. Lol!!!
Do you gurls remember the other day when I told you that Joe wanted to know if I was going to wear, “that?” Here is the post link in case you missed that. Anyway, this super soft cowl neck and long duster were what I was wearing. I did have a pair of jeans on instead of these leggings but it didn’t make that big a difference in the look. This sweater was in the loungewear section at Cato Fashions (no longer on the website) and since I was only planning on lounging around, I thought the top would work out just fine. I like something soft and comfortable to wear especially if you can also run out to the store in it. Granted, if we had been going out to a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ restaurant then I might have been a little under-dressed. Lol!
I did put on the Rhiannon necklace from Plunder Design for jewelry. The leather straps just matched the cardigan and gave the plain top a little interest. This necklace is really great to throw on with a lot of different looks because of the neutral color of the leather. To shop at Plunder Design just go here and choose tania30 as your party.
I haven’t carried this snakeskin purse all year. It was under another purse and I just didn’t see it until the other day. This is one from G.I.L.I. that I got a little while back. I am not a huge fan of purses that zip because I end up scratching my hand on the zipper when I reach inside it. This one is a little better than most since the opening is plenty long and wide.
This long duster from Leith came in my first Trunk Club shipment and I have worn it several times. Here I wore it with gold and corduroy. I wasn’t really thinking about colors today when I put this on, I was wanting some extra warmth. Lol! You know that even if I am just putting on something for warmth that it has to still match my outfit. If you are petite then your duster cardigan needs to be a little shorter. Everything goes in proportion to your size and that includes patterns and lengths.
I added a new incentive to my Rodan + Fields page. Be sure to go and check it out!

What you are wearing looks so peaceful and warm. I’d go out to eat with you anywhere in this. Shame on Joe!
I wear something similar to this outfit on many (most?) days! Comfy, but with a little jewelry and some cuts shoes – I’m ready to run out if I need to go
If my husband waited until I was “dressed up” to eat out, we’d never go!! Lol!! I LOVE the look today as it’s my perfect comfy style (although I would have on stretchy jeans instead of leggings). Next time, tell Joe you are not changing!! ??
Super cute outfit! I def don’t look like that when lounging at home . Yoga pants and t-shirt . Not cute at all.
I heard a saying the other day….” The longer I stay at home….the more homeless I look”. This definitely applies to me!!
Your lounge look is definitely much better than mine! T shirt and stretch pants, if I am cold, I throw on an old robe that I have had 10+ years! So comfy! I look pretty awful, but snug as a bug in a rug. Joe must need glasses. Cute outfit, I would wear that to dinner.
I think Joe needs new glasses! That outfit is adorable!
