MAKING YOUR HOLIDAYS LESS STRESSFUL WITH WALMART
There is one thing about the holidays that most of us experience, and that is stress. Stress can come in the form of travel and logistics, and from trying to jump through all of the hoops to make your trip happen. Some of us experience lots of stress when it comes to planning and cooking our meals. We want everything to turn out perfect, and we heap stress onto ourselves. For some, it is in trying to choose the perfect gift for our loved ones while trying to stay on a budget.
While I can’t help you with your travel plans or in cooking your holiday meal, I can help you with your gifting needs. I’m going to give you some suggestions and break them down into categories for you. This will help you to pick the perfect gift for any loved one on your list.
I don’t know if you have ever visited the Gift Finder from Walmart, but it is so easy to use and very helpful. You can search by category, by age, by gender, or by price range. Using the tool to narrow down all of the thousands of items saves time and energy. Plus, you won’t be stressed since it is so easy. They even have a category for those hard-to-find gifts like for a Boss or Co-worker. And, for you procrastinators, they have a Last Minute Gift section.
Most of the items on these lists are things that I want, or that I already have. I have a confession to make; I use Christmas as an excuse to buy for ME! Lol! I think I learned this trick from my dad who would go out looking for something for my mom. However, he would come back empty-handed for her, but he did manage to find things for himself. Haha!
So, whether you are shopping for others, or for yourself, I bet that I’ve found some goodies that you need.
Tech & Gaming
The Oculus is a FUN gift to play with. This gift is as much fun to watch others play as it is to play with yourself. It is one that almost any age will enjoy. The Apple Watch, the ring light, and the phone charger are all things that I already own. I use my watch daily for keeping up with my steps when I walk, and the ring light is how I take photos. The charger is Joe’s, but here is the one that I use. It charges my phone, my AirPods, and my Apple Watch all at the same time.
Sports & Outdoors
This category is for everyone who enjoys sports and the great outdoors. I tried to link to items that I am familiar with, so here are the ones that I have already. The basketball goal is one that my grandchildren next door have. It is portable and adjustable. I have two queen-size blow-up mattresses for when all of the kids and grandchildren come to visit. The grandchildren think that it is FUN to sleep on these. Lol!
I bought the heated vest for my daughter for Christmas since she loves walking outside. She lives in Alaska, so I thought that keeping her core warm would be a good idea. And, Joe had a dartboard that he loves. He has had it for a long time, but it looks almost identical to this one.
Home
When it comes to these home gifts, I would be thrilled with all of them. Well, I might not be thrilled with the Unicorn sleeping bag, but my granddaughter would. I have the dishes on order, and I hope they come before Thanksgiving. I also added some gold silverware to that order to match the gold trim.
We love our salt lamp, and we use it as a night light in our hall. I am thinking about ordering one of these for all of my bathrooms also. They would be great in a guest bath to give off a slight glow in the middle of the night.
My daughter swears by the Wake-Up light that simulates a sunrise. She loves it and says that she never oversleeps. She is also a fan of the Ancestry DNA kit. I think she must have caught the genealogy bug from my mother.
Fashion
I have a lot of these items already bought, but I haven’t had time to grab photos yet. The handbags and the boots are beautiful in person. I actually have the ones with the back in snakeskin on while I am writing this. Walmart has even more incredible fall fashions to choose from, and you can find something there for the entire family. I have been very impressed with the quality and selection from Walmart, and I love that they make their clothing affordable.
I did a Walmart try-on haul recently, and if you did see that post, be sure to check it out.
You might be wondering about the pajamas that I am wearing in the featured image. Those are a pair that I bought last year, and I couldn’t find the exact pair this year. However, I did find these from Sofia Vergara in crushed velvet! There are several different styles and colors, so check those out. Talk about perfect for the HOLIDAYS!!!
Some of the items in the next two categories might have already been linked to, but this way you know their price range.
$50 and under
$51 – $100

Great holiday post and ideas, TY Tania 🌻🌻🌻
Oh, I love the boots from Walmart. I ordered 2 other pairs to compare. I will use them for RV camping and other cool days here in So Cal.
Awesome post! Great suggestions and all price ranges. Thank you for all your hard work. I enjoy reading your blog every morning.
I had this happen but I caused it by putting aroma oil drops on it. Yeah, I know. Senior moment. It melted the salt.🙈
Love this post. Missed the scripture
Tania, do you have a favorite flat iron you would recommend?
Wal-Mart has come a long way, haven’t they! I do want to share that I had to send the Himalayan salt lamp back because it was excreting water and the water got on the trunk I had it sitting on. It worked fine for several weeks, so I don’t know what happened.
Ginger, you must have gotten a faulty lamp. I’ve had mine one for over 10 years, and it is still working and doing great.
Loved all the gift suggestions. Thanks for sharing! Best Wishes! Leigh
Just received the updated email. Thanks
Love the gift guide!!

Thank you for sharing Walmart post since it’s the only store to shop at in my hometown
I’m going to take a look at that charger. Thanks for all the gift suggestions
Hey Tania….great gift selections. Had to come to your website directly though to see your post today. Link is STILL not fixed. Email only said ‘nothing there’. 🤷🏼♀️ Just thought you should know.
I sent an update that should work now.
