My Favorite Fashion Blogs
There are a ton of blogs on the internet. There are blogs on anything and everything, and it is a nightmare trying to sift through all of them trying to find that “gem”. I have spent a fare amount of time looking at fashion bloggers, in all age ranges, and I have compiled a list for you to check out.
How do you like this little shift dress? I think it is adorable. And it would look really cute even without the leggings, just on someone else. When I bought this dress last year, my 13 year old niece bought it as well. That made me worry for just a minute, maybe it was too youthful for me.
But, what the heck, I liked it, so I bought it. My niece wore hers with cowboy boots, and it was extremely cute. This dress came from a little store in Acworth, GA, called Glitzy Chicks. They do not have a website, but here is their FaceBook page. That is also the shop where I bought my monogrammed sneakers.
The long necklace is from Cato’s. The faux blue and red turquoise really pop against the neutral dress. I added my red Dooney & Bourke purse to match the necklace. Here is a similar purse.
Do you think this ring is large enough? Hahaha My daughter bought me this for Christmas. It is one of those stretchy rings, so it will fit any size.
My husband picked out my boots. He did a great job! I might have to hire him to be my assistant. You have no idea how funny that is.
I think this outfit works fine for a 50+++++ woman. What do you think?
Here are my favorite fashion blogs, in no particular order, at this time. I am not including me, but I hope you will put me in your list.
Mrs. American Made – Ana is a petite, cute, brunette that only wears “Made In The USA” products.
Not Dressed As Lamb – Catherine is a 40 something british fashion blogger. Her style is fabulous!
Jo-Lynne Shane – Jo-Lynne features fashion for stay at home moms who realize that you still need to look nice.
Grace & Beauty Cyndi is as cute as a button. Everything she puts on just looks adorable.
Elegantly Dressed & Stylish – Jess is a gorgeous red-head that incorporates a lot of vintage clothing in her everyday style.
Style Nudge – Cherie is flawless. I love her classic style, and how she mixes vintage pieces into her wardrobe.
Not Dead Yet Style – Patti is a sixty-something fashion blogger. She has such a unique and quirky style, I know you will love her.
Fifty not Frumpy – Susan is anything but frumpy. She is lively and gorgeous. She also lives a couple hours away from me.
Over 50 Feeling 40 – Pam is an inspiration to women of all ages, to act and dress your best.
J’s Everyday Fashion – J is a thirty something blogger in florida, that takes inspirations and makes them work for an everyday young woman.
This is also something I WANT and NEED: I have added a subscription button to the blog, right under the recent posts tab. I would appreciate it if you would take the time to sign up. You will then be notified by email when a new post is made.

I’m linking up with Jolynne Shane today on Fashion Friday.
I like the dress when you get tired of it bring it to me. Who wants to dress like an old woman not me.
Tania , I love this outfit on you, the tunic reminds me so much of a top that I bought my Mom , she’s 72, and loves it! I’m 53 and I would definitely wear that ! Keep stylin girl!
I’m 51, 5’7″ (NOT petite), and a size 0/00 so most women’s clothing stores have sized me right out of their market. I constantly tell them I have $$ to spend if they made my size. I have shopped in mostly junior section my entire life because I can find things to fit instead of getting totally frustrated in women’s stores. So naturally, when I hear women my age poo-poo on dressing too youthful I just roll my eyes. I think you’re outfit is adorable and you totally rock it!
Thanks Tee! BTW, my Aunt was named T. But it was short for her given name, and that was Tipsy Topsy!!! Not joking, that was her real name. Lol. Now you see that the sense of humor runs in my family????????????
Thanks for sharing the blog sites! And Mr. 50-INO did a great job styling w/your boots! 🙂
One more thing…thanks for sharing those blog sites!
I have to give this one a thumbs down. It’s the fabric and those big roses all over. The color is rather bland. Anyway, “Wear what you love and what loves you back!”
I like the big roses, haha. This is a good example of how clothing can challenge you.
I LOVE the outfit and would totally wear it! Perfectly styled!
In early fall, late spring, I’d pair it with capri length leggings and flats/sandals. The Houston Rodeo is coming up (a very big deal around here) and I would wear it with jeggings and cowboy boots. So. Many. Options. I’m pouting a little that I can’t just jump online and order it. LOL
Have a blessed weekend!
You are so “fun!” It’s evident that you enjoy life! Take care, Coco
THanks for the blog list! I love your outfit!!! And..as always, I love your blog! It is always fun to check each day to see what you have put together. Keep it up! 🙂
Thanks Pam???? Comments like yours makes my day.
Super cute dress! I have a couple like this I wear in the summer, but I wear a lace trimmed slip skirt extender to add length (to make to my knee’s). Sometimes I wonder if I am dressing too young (I’m 48) but as quickly as I wonder that, I think ‘whatever, it’s cute an comfy!’ HA!
Great blogs- I think I also look at the majority of the same ones, especially StyleNudge… Cherie’s style is so sharp!
I like your attitude, Jules????
