My Talbots Memorial Day Sale Picks

First up, let’s chat about the Summerweight Straight Ankle Jeans! Denim can often be thick and hot to wear when the temperatures rise, so I love that Talbots released these lighter-weight denim jeans. They have that looser straight-leg fit that is trending, making them so comfortable and great for everyday wear.

I paired them with this linen popover top. I’ve been on a linen kick lately since I know hot weather is on its way, and linen and summertime go together like peanut butter and jelly, LOL! This top felt easy and breezy, and it looked great tucked or untucked.

While we are talking about linen, we might as well chat about these washed linen wide leg pants! The popover top looked just as cute paired with these green pants, and they were super comfy to wear with an elastic waist. They are also available in white and a light beige shade called “Flax Oatmeal”.

Up next, we have this silky soft top charmeuse top. This is a versatile shirt to add to your closet that you could wear year-round. I’m wearing it with denim, but it would look lovely with a pair of white pants or Bermuda shorts!

Here you can see I tucked the top into the top of these straight-leg jeans, which I think elevates the look a bit and makes my legs look much longer! Speaking of legs, you can’t go wrong with these jeans from Talbots. They come in several different washes, but this Carolina wash is a great medium denim color.

I decided to switch out the jeans for these Perfect Skimmers pants. They have a kaleidoscope pattern that matches the charmeuse top perfectly.

I thought this was such a darling little summer outfit. I would throw on a pair of white sandals with it, but wouldn’t red be fun for the Fourth of July? If you don’t love the kaleidoscope pattern, you can grab them in a solid color instead.

I thought this little stars v-neck sweater tank was the cutest thing! I don’t think I would pair them with these patterned pants, but instead, I would go for a white pair of shorts or pants. You could add a pop of red with a handbag, lip color, or earrings.

While we’re on the topic of the Fourth of July, I couldn’t leave out this classic v-neck Americana flag sweater. This is a timeless piece you can pull out year after year! If you live in a hot climate, you can opt for this short sleeve flag tee instead.

I absolutely love wearing dresses like this jersey polo dress in the summer because they make getting dressed easy. Plus, they are cool and comfortable! Isn’t this blue and green medallion tile-inspired print gorgeous?
