NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFIT WITH A SPARKLY TOP AND JEANS2019 is quickly coming to an end. It is not only the end of this month and year, but it is also the end of this decade! The past ten years have been a whirlwind, and it is incredible the things that have come and gone. I was amazed when I read that the iPad was first introduced in this decade. And, one of the craziest dance tunes was in the past decade; Gangham Style. I am sure that you will now be singing that tune for the rest of the day.
NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFIT WITH A SPARKLY TOP AND JEANS BY FASHION BLOGGER 50 IS NOT OLDI got to witness my first total Solar Eclipse this past decade. That was a spectacular and fantastic thing to behold. I am not sure what I expected to happen, or how I thought I was going to feel about everything, but I was amazed. I remember that I wasn’t that excited about the whole thing, but my scientist daughter insisted that we all converge at my parent’s home. We had an Eclipse party, and everyone had homemade Eclipse t-shirts. I have to share a few of the photos of that day for you to see. I hear there is going to be another Eclipse in 2024, and I want to encourage you to check it out if you possibly can. ECLIPSE MAKEUPMy daughter thought that we needed “solar eclipse” makeup, so here I am sporting a Galaxy on my face.
50 IS NOT OLD AND HUBBY WEARING AN ECLIPSE SHIRTWe even talked Joe into joining in the festivities, and that was quite a feat in itself. Lol!
NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFIT WITH A SPARKLY TOP AND TUXEDO JACKETNow it is time to usher in a new decade, and I can’t even begin to think of all of the amazing things that will happen in the next ten years. Everyone brings in the New Year in their own way, and there is no right or wrong way to ring in the New Year. Some will be in their pajamas watching the ball drop, and some will be sound asleep way before Midnight. Then, there are going to be those who celebrate with friends and those who go to fancy parties.

Today, I am teaming up with a couple of my blogging friends and bringing you different New Year’s Eve outfits. Jennifer, from A Well Styled Life, and Jo-Lynne, from Jo-Lynne Shane will each bring you their take on what to wear on New Year’s Eve. This post will give you three different ideas, and each of us decided to go for a more casual style.
Leopard Print PumpsI might be wearing jeans for the night, but I still wanted to have glitz and glamour in my outfit. I want glitz from top to bottom, and that extends even to my toes. These gorgeous leopard print pumps have a metallic champagne color that makes these pumps shiny and sparkly. With almost a 4″ inch stiletto heel, these might not be for the faint of heart. These are by Jessica Simpson, and I sized up a 1/2 size on these, and they fit great. Here is the link to the Jessica Simpson Leopard Pumps.

SPARKLLY DISTRESS JEANS

This is how you do distressed jeans the right way!!! I have no skin showing, no tatters are holes, but I do have metallic chevron beading sure to catch everyone’s eye. I wore these at the blogging conference that I attended over a month ago, and I had compliment after compliment on these jeans. The jeans have a worn faded look denim color, and they can be worn cuffed or down like I am wearing them today. I have washed these numerous times, and they have done great. I am wearing my usual size 10 for sizing reference. And, you lucky dogs can get these 20.00 cheaper than what I paid for them. The glitz didn’t stop with the jeans and shoes; I also added a sparkly Champagne colored sequin tank top. I love the relaxed fit of the tank and how it sparkles and shimmers as you move. This tank has a double V-neckline, so you look great coming or going. The top is lined, but it can still be hand washed instead of having to be dry cleaned. I am wearing a size medium since they suggest sizing down, and this fits me perfectly. This top looks fabulous with jeans, but you could also wear this with dress pants or a shirt, and it would look great either way. Here is the link to the tank top, and it also comes in red or a leopard print.A SPARKLY TOP AND A BLACK TUXEDO JACKET BY FASHION BLOGGER 50 IS NOT OLD The Y necklace that I am wearing is comprised of several different metals, glass, and chains. It is a beautiful statement piece of jewelry that combines elegance and a rebel without a cause, all in one look. The necklace is nickel-free and lead-free also. I like how it brings your eye inward, and that always will create a thinner look. Here is the link to the necklace.

NEW YEAR'S EVE OUTFIT WITH A SPARKLY TOP, JEANS, AND LEOPARD PUMPS

You may not think that you would get a lot of opportunities to wear a tuxedo-style jacket, but you will. I bought my jacket over a year ago, and I have worn it several times. Usually, I wear the jacket with jeans and a t-shirt, but I have also worn it with a skirt and a dress. The jacket adds class to anything that you pair with it, and it always looks classy.

I hope you liked my New Year’s Eve outfit inspiration, and now you need to head on over and checkout Jo-Lynne and Jennifer. Both of these ladies have had a significant impact on me since I started blogging. Jo-Lynne was the blogger who inspired me to start my blog, and she linked to me when I first started. That gave me a massive boost of confidence, and I can never repay her. I finally go to meet her in person at the blogging conference, and she is just as sweet in person as she seems on the blog. Here is her website.

Jennifer was the one who reached out to me for the first time. She wanted to help me with my blog, and she has taken me under her wing ever since. You don’t understand how special that is in the blogging world. She only wanted to help and wasn’t asking for anything in return. We roomed together at the blogging conference, which was the first time that we had met in person. It was like we had been friends for years. We talked non-stop, and it was a pleasure to room with her. Be sure to check out Jennifer here, and tell her that I am equally grateful to her.

How is your memory???
