ORANGE AND WHITE LOOKS GREAT TOGETHER
I didn’t get to watch the Tennessee Volunteers play football last night against Appalachian State, and that is probably a good thing. I hear it was a crazy game, and that the Vol’s did not play well. Some say a win is still a win, but others say, “C’mon Man!” Either way, I am wearing orange and white, not for the Vol’s, but because it says something about my mood.
Crabby, get it, I have on a shirt with a crab. Lol! Truthfully, I am not really in a crabby mood even thought my plans got thrown in the trash. There are folks in Florida that are having it much worse, and there are probably many still without power. I on the other hand was crabby because I had to go into work after all. I had planned on going ahead and taking the day off since I had already planned to do that, but one of our employees took the day off instead. That left us short handed because another employee is on vacation, so I had to go in. Responsibility is for the birds. ?
I grabbed this sweater out this morning to wear. I knew I had worn it before this spring, so I looked back to see how. I wanted to take a different slant on the top, and I think I achieved my goal. Here is the last look. It is a matter of taste, as to which one you like best. Both ways look fine, and this just goes to show you that you can take a top in your closet, and then pair it with a different bottom for a whole new look. You might remember the sweater because of the crab, but you have to admit that this look is completely different.
Just so you know, I am a little bit on the nut-so side. When I was getting ready, I started looking for jewelry. I thought in my mind that I wanted to wear the Bonita necklace, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. The I remembered my daughter wearing it to a brunch that she attended while I was in Livingston. I already had on the matching earrings, Lupe, so I just left them on and went to look for a different necklace. I pulled out the Felice necklace, then I grabbed a turquoise Eunice bracelet, because I thought I was going to carry this purse. As you can see, that didn’t happen. I still liked the bracelet though, because orange and turquoise go great together. I started changing purses, and I found the Bonita necklace that I had been looking for in my purse. I put it on, but forgot to take off the other necklace. I never even noticed that I had on both necklaces till I started editing my pictures last night. See, I told you I was a little nutty. I am blown at how nice you gurls are. You could buy Plunder from another stylist, but you choose to buy from me. That is unbelievable!!! I have decided to not be like the cell phone companies, they only give rewards to “new” customers. I think the customers who have been loyal and stick with you also need rewarding. So, I am going to be giving away a necklace this month to two of my customers. I just want to randomly say thank you.
I chose white jeans with this look today. I haven’t worn my white jeans in a while, so I shook off the cobwebs and put them on. Haha The jade green satchel is one that I bought a couple years ago at TJ Maxx. I think it is by Valenetta. but I will have to go look to be sure. I have carried this purse over and over and over again. Just because it is green, do not let that scare you. Here is the last time I carried it, look how it goes with gray.

I bought this orange and white sweater earlier this spring at Belk. I found it on the clearance rack, and I knew it was too cute to pass up. This sweater is by Crown & Ivy, and I love their brand. It is happy and colorful. Does that sound like someone you know? Lol! Since I bought this top this spring, it of course does not exist any longer on their website.

I saved the best for last. You know I love my (c/o) Nina Original Pumps. They are called Agenda, and these are the Pink Miami Floral. Just like the green satchel, you might think you would not get a lot of wear for such a colorful shoe, but you would be WRONG! I have only had these shoes a month or so, and I have worn them at least three times on the blog, and once or twice that never got posted. (See here and here) You just have to step outside the box. Everybody stays in the box, you need to explore occasionally. Lol!

I prefer the white jeans to the blue pants. Such a fun look with the orange stripes! A
And those shoes are better & better each time!??
This look is fabulous! You know what really sends it over are those gorgeous shoes!!! I avoid buying patterned shoes, but you have changed my mind. You have managed to style them with many outfits and they really make everything oh so special!
I had always steered away from patterned shoes too. I am so glad that I went outside my comfort zone.
Love this look, especially the shoes!!! Super cute sweater. That orange is soooo much better than the burnt orange one sees in Texas. HA

Lovely, as always, Tania. I love your hair and really think your nails, with that soft neutral color, look gorgeous, too!
Your my go-to blog with my morning coffee! God bless you also, for sharing Him with everyone on Sunday’s, too.
Thanks Suzi! I can’t believe you noticed my nails. I was afraid the nude color would just blend in, and never be seen. You have a keen eye.
