In case you were wondering, I still have not managed to get to the nail salon. Lol! If I don’t get there today I swear I am just going to cut them off! I would rather not have nails as to have them look so bad. I had lunch today with my Energizer Bunny Friend and she looked at my nails and then back at me with a “what is going on” look. I had to laugh because you could just see the horror on her face. I plan on taking a picture and putting it on Instagram of me in the pedicure chair. Lol!
I have good news to report on my little pooch, Beckley. I took him back to the vet to be checked since he has been taking 2 shots a day for diabetes. They said his sugar levels were perfect and that he had gained back the 2 pounds he had lost. I am so relieved!!! I really hate having to give him the shots morning and night but he doesn’t seem to mind. I will call him and show him the shot. He walks over and bows his head for me to give him the shot. I always let him smell the shot to know what it is and he never even flinches. After his shot, he can’t wait for his treat. Lucy Lu gets a treat also but since she doesn’t have to take a shot, her treat is much smaller. Joe is so tender-hearted that he won’t even think about giving him the shot. He told me that he was petrified he was going to find him dead while I was gone. The vet’s office told me today that they weren’t sure he was going to make it either that day. Poor baby must have been in a horrible shape. He is all better now that his momma is back home. HahaToday marks the last of the casual looks I have been doing this week. It has been a laid-back, comfortable, casual, wearing flats kind of week. I might get used to this type of dressing. From all the comments you gurls left, I believe a lot of you must dress this way too. I bought this top at least a year ago at Talbots. I am a sucker for a red, white, and blue color palette. I am not a fan of the stars and stripes look, but I will wear the colors together often. I try to look for a top that has a pretty or unique pattern. This pattern reminds me of a block wall we had when I was growing up. You could see through the openings but it gave you some privacy also. Did any of you have those type walls? Ours was the outside wall of a carport.
I am wearing silver jewelry today. I’ll start at the top and go down. My earrings match the necklace and they are called Linda. Do I have any Linda’s out there? You “need” these earrings, they are named after you. Haha! The are really cute and simple. The matching necklace is called Markle. Do I have any Markle’s out there? For some reason, I am doubting that I have as many of those. Plunder describes this necklace as “short and sassy.” The long necklace has one of my favorite sayings, “God is within her she will not fail.” I try to remember this verse in my everyday life. Honestly, I am not a huge fan of hearts so I would be happier to take off the heart charm. The silver ball bracelet is called Wanda. Do I have any, never mind, you know where I was going with this? Lol! This bracelet is easy on and off because it is an elastic stretch bracelet. If you would like to try any of the new jewelry then go to my party to place the order. I closed out the last party and re-opened another one. It is www.plunderdesign.com/party/tania6 If you are interested in finding out about all the wonderful advantages to being on my Plunder team just let me know. I am offering an extra piece of jewelry for all those who join Team Shimmer and Shine this month!!!
I have carried this purse for several years. It was well worth the money especially since it was free. ? This is a purse that I got for my hostess rewards from Stella and Dot. This is called The Switch and you can find it on Ebay. The navy ankle pants are pixie pants from Old Navy. I like ankle pants and I wear them even in the winter months. I will wear the pants with my knee boots and everyone just thinks they are regular pants. That helps you get more wear out of your clothing.
I think I have covered everything with the exception of my sneakers. These are not “real” converse sneakers, they are a pair I bought when I went to visit my sister at a little boutique. I wasn’t sure that I would like the whole “sneaker” look because I am not a tennis shoe wearing girl. But I could have the tongue monogrammed with my initials so that sold me. I didn’t get a good picture of the monogram but you can see it better in this post here. They have now got the cutest colors and prints in Converse I have ever seen.
It is great how many of you have decided to join me in my businesses. I had 6 new girls join my Plunder Design team last month and I have had 2 ladies to join my Rodan + Fields team already this month. Here is what I want you to take a few minutes and do. Think about the next two years. What does it hold in store for you? If you continue on the path you are now on is it going to take you on a journey? I can’t promise you that by joining me in one or BOTH of these companies that all your financial worries are going to be over. But, I can tell you this, not joining is going to keep you exactly where you are now. I can help you, I can walk you through the technology, I can calm your nerves. Not only will I help you get your business up and running but I will also gift you a FREE Redefine Multi-Function Eye Cream to anyone who signs up in April. (With a Business Kit) If you have any questions just shoot me an email to fiftyisnotold@gmail.com. Rodan + Fields is actually offline for the next few days because of a website change. But I would love to have you join me Sunday night at 8:00 pm EST for our weekly ZOOM call. Zoom is a free app that you can download on your device. You then hit the Join A Meeting button and type in this number, 736 578 7052. Everyone who shows up will get a free microdermabrasion paste pack just for listening in.

Great job on the nails, just have to find that right time. I had mine finally done Thursday.
I love red, white and blue and anything with that ~ “patriotic theme”. I like wearing tennies, and most of the time
I am in flats, medically needed. But I have never thought of wearing Converse again. But I love yours, especially with “initials”, might have to look into that. Glad Beckley is back to normal and his momma is taking care of him.
Thanks for sharing.
Sorry to hear about your puppy. Lost my chihuahua of 16 1/2 yrs. last fall. Love your site. Love when you bring things from the past. Have you done one on how to clean out your closet? Trying to and is difficult to let go of some items, not sure what to keep.
I am not really a sneakers girl unless at the gym, but I do sometimes compromise and wear a pair of white lace up Keds. They are not nearly as bulky as sneakers but are still very comfortable. Also, I notice you have a fair number of the Old Navy Pixie pants. I have not yet gone to check them out, but are they very form-fitting? my thighs are larger in proportion to my waist so not sure they would fit me nearly as nicely as they do you.
So glad your fur baby is doing better. My husband is a diabetic and it can be scary! I don’t get to wear tennis shoes often bc I have to dress up for work, but I love your red ones. I have on my gray rocket dogs today and they are very comfy. My toe nails need some love right now!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend ?
Glad to hear Beckley is doing better! I have a dog named Lucy Lu. She showed up in our yard one day with four puppies. We found homes for the puppies and ended up keeping mamma. We really didn’t want a dog at that time but she’s turned out to be part of the family. Love your outfit!
I love your outfit! but then you look good in anything you wear! seriously, how do you do that? I don’t think I could do the tennis shoes, but definitely sandals or flats! So happy your fur baby is better, it’s heart breaking when they aren’t well. Thanks for uplifting us all with your blog everyday with fashion ideas and inspiration for our soul as well! Love ya Tania! you are the best
Thank you for the update on Beckley, Tania. So happy he is doing better. I am just like Joe. When our sweet pup gets sick in anyway I have a hard time dealing with it. My husband is the rock in that category and he knows he is in charge. It would be my nightmare, too, if Henry got very sick while he was out of town. Nothing wrong with being tender hearted, Joe! 🙂 You look terrific as always, Tania! I check you every AM to get some inspiration before I open my closet door and for a smile. Have a great weekend.
Joe is the rock with EVERYTHING else but the kids and the dogs. When it comes to those he loves he is such a softie. He will tell me to make the kids doe something or tell them no about whatever they want but if they ask him the answer is usually yes. Lol!
