NO RED!!! I may be cured but don’t count on it. Lol! I thought you might be suffering from RED overload so I decided to give you a break, at least for a day or two. I was really liking the red but then I look at this more subtle, toned down look, and I like it too. I guess there is a time and a place for everything. I just thought to myself about when I was in school and you would get a note passed to you. Do you like me? Check the box below, and of course, you had a yes box and a no box. Do you like me better in red? Check yes or no. Lol!When I sit down at night I never know where my crazy brain will take me. Lol! From childhood romance to who knows what. I am feeling a little down in the dumps tonight. A friend of mine passed away suddenly and it was such a shock. Brad went with Joe and me to the New Year’s Eve party we went to and we had a blast. It is just so sad when someone who was so full of life and such a wonderful soul passes away. Brad was very stylish and he had to have a “shoe” picture with me at the party. I think he just wanted to show off his Gucci shoes. Lol!
Even though I love my red booties, who could compete with Gucci? I conceded that he won. Haha!Let’s talk about today’s outfit. It’s funny how an outfit comes together for me. I wanted to wear this sweater and that’s where it all started. From there I picked out the pants and then the top. The cashmere sweater is one by Isaac Mizrahi that I bought at the ————–. Did everyone one say, “overstock store?” Hahaha! Yes, I got it at the overstock store. I call it that because they purchase returns and overstock from QVC but when I called it the QVC outlet store it caused confusion. Some thought that it was an actual QVC sanctioned store which it is not. So the overstock store is as close as I could come to figuring out what to call it.
My jewelry is shades of beige, pink, and gray. The necklace is called the Dalia and here is how I wore it before. I have on my Believe necklace which is my word of the year. I am looking at having some t-shirts made and I am working on what design I want. I can only find the Christmas t-shirts and I want something for the rest of the year.
The matching bracelet is called the Cecelia. I had ordered in some new jewelry which came in the mail after I took the pictures and one of the items is the Broderick which matches this set.
I didn’t plan on carrying a gray satchel with this outfit but it worked out that way. I figured there was gray in my jewelry so that would be enough. Gray is a neutral and goes with almost anything. This satchel is by Aimee Kestenberg and I am not telling you where I bought it. Lol!!!
I chose to wear my caramel Marc Fisher boots. I love these boots, they are as close to flats as I get and the color is fabulous. It is a dark, deep, caramel color and it looks so rich.
My pants are the Harper by Old Navy. I bought these last year when they were on the clearance rack. Since they are the Harper line I sized down and they fit great. I really liked the way I wore these pants the last time and I worried about re-styling them again but I think this turned out alright. Which outfit do you like best? I know I like my tan better in the last one. Lol! I am going to start my tan right now!!!
I think I have covered everything except for my crinkle camisole which I bought at Maurices. I love their cami’s and I try to pick up one or two every time I go there.
I have had lots and lots of messages about joining Plunder and Rodan and Fields this month. January is the perfect time to join and get your year off to a good start. Plunder is hosting an incentive this month which ends on the 31st. They are giving you an additional 3 pieces of jewelry, just because. If you want to sign up go to www.plunderdesign.com/taniastephens and hit the Become A Stylist button. If you need some more information then just message or email me.
Rodan and Fields is a company that is going places. It is a HUGE opportunity for someone looking to have a business from their home. The doctors have already paved the way with Proactive and it is pretty much a household name. You do not have to try to get them to understand that the products WORK! I am super excited to be building a team here in the US and I even have some ladies in Australia that are hopping on board. I would love to have a consultant in every state plus Canada. Ask yourself if you know anyone who has skin. That is pretty much the big picture. Everyone can use R & F so put the doubts aside and actually BELIEVE. Go to www.tstephens5.myrandf.biz and go down until you see the Be You Own CEO button. Email me with any questions at fiftyisnotold@gmail.com
Sorry about my bra showing but I wanted to share with you the picture of me and Joe with Brad on New Year’s Eve. I told Brad that my word for the year was BELIEVE and he shared with me that his word for the year was SOAR. Soar high my friend, you will be missed. #soarin2017

I am sorry for the loss of your friend. We just never know. A dear friend of my daughter passed last week suddenly. A mother with 3 young girls. All we can do is trust in God.
I’m so happy that I found your blog. I have been dressing so frumpy lately. I lost my oomph. You have me inspired. As for too much red? There is no such thing. You look amazing in it.
Thank you for your fabulous young looks!
I’m sorry for the loss of your friend, Tania. That’s always hard, especially when the person was young, as it looks like he was. I’m so glad you have some good memories, especially recent ones. Prayers for you.
