HOW TO STAY OUT OF THE DOG HOUSE
I really loved reading all the professions that everyone posted on yesterday’s post. We are such a diverse group of ladies! While I am typing today’s blog post I will be thinking of the comments I want to be left below. I truly enjoy getting to know all of you a little better. Some of you have mentioned to me that you talk to your husband or friends about your friend Tania. I LOVE that!!! I tell Joe about you gurls all the time. He will ask me who that is and I always say, “that’s one of my friends from the blog.” He has even talked to a couple of you when I have been on the phone for a call. Lol!
I don’t know if it is the weather or what is going on but I have eaten EVERYTHING in sight today. I started out pretty good but by lunch time it was all out the window. I ate a cheeseburger and fries for lunch. That doesn’t sound that bad but I haven’t had a cheeseburger in probably a year. THEN I ate 4 of those little mini Butterfinger candy bars, well maybe 5. THEN I made coffee and had 3 iced oatmeal cookies. THEN I ate 3 more iced oatmeal cookies when I went home. LOL!!! I told one of the girls at work that I must be pregnant. She laughed and laughed and just kept laughing. I told her that was enough, it wasn’t that funny. That’s what I get for hiring girls that are younger than me. If I keep eating like I did today then I may not “be” pregnant but I will “look” pregnant!!! Hahaha
I love this necklace but I don’t think I have ever worn it before. This necklace is called Julie. It is a very light turquoise or pale blue and the beads that hang from it are a smoky color. Every time I tried to wear the necklace before I just thought it was too short. I am one of those that gravitates toward long necklaces because I want your attention away from my neckline. I have to tell you this story on my sister. She asked her husband this question, “Look at my face. Does it look like this because I am old or because I am fat?” Her husband quickly said, “I am not falling for that. No way I am going to answer that question.” Then my sister said, “No really. I want to know so that I can work on the problem.” Of all the things her husband COULD have said, he said this, “BOTH!” Since she is at least one size, maybe two, smaller than me and she is 5 years younger than me, I would hate to hear what he says about me. Lol!!! Yes, he is in the dog house. Hahaha
I pulled out a pair of dark gray dress pants that I bought last year on clearance and never wore. This pair was from Cato Fashions. I normally would have worn a high heel shoe with them but I know a lot of you don’t wear high heels so I decided to wear a flat instead. That is right, I made the sacrifice just for you. Lol! I am wearing my Sole Society studded flat.
I love this turquoise top. It is sleeveless so I put on my gray jacket to keep me warm. Besides the color of the top, it was the design that got me. I like the mosaic tile look. This top is by Le Pleat, a brand I have never heard of. I have had this top for a long time and I can’t remember where I bought it from. I liked the last time I wore this top better. I read that post and can’t believe I thought I was busy then. Lol!
I bet you thought I forgot to mention the gold longer necklace that I have on. Nope, I didn’t forget, I just wanted to wait until I was talking about Rodan + Fields. This necklace was a gift from R + F. I love that they send me prizes for simply helping ladies look their best. If I didn’t love the products, use the products, and see my own results, I would never mention them to you. I sent the following to my sister today with the heading, “You might be younger, and you might be bigger chested, but my lashes are longer!” Hahaha! BTW, someone asked what kind of mascara I use and it is Huge by Stila. Also, I don’t curl my lashes.

Believe it or not the Aisha bracelet is my favorite piece. That phrase has very special and personal meaning to me.
Tania, Love the blouse, I just got a shirt like that in a muted teal and orange colors in mosaic, love the look,
I am envious of your eye lashes, they look good.
Terrific close-up Tania. Your lashes are amazing but so is your skin. I’m jealous!!
Never ask a question you don’t want an honest answer to! LOL! I’m sure she’s neither old or fat, but most of us just aren’t happy with our weight, our age or something. I think we should just learn to love who we are as we are while we are hoping to wake up younger and skinnier!
You look beautiful Tania! Love the outfit!
I really like the top you’re wearing in this post. I like the Loudene, Joey and Kimberly necklaces… I like to wear longer necklaces rather than short ones.
Had never heard of Plunder jewelry until I started following your blog. Love your blog & love Plunder jewelry! Seeing the jewelry with your outfits makes it much more attractive than the actual Plunder website. You should be Plunder’s marketing manager! And girl, those lashes!!!!!
Hey!! Keep the style ideas coming! I head to work and pick up pieces that can be worn multiple ways and most of the time, you have shown them several OTHER way to wear them!!
My favorite piece is the Felice necklace! It can be worn with so many colors!!
Your eating day must be catching Tania, as I’ve sat here reading your blog munching a Cadburys chocolate bar. Your eyelashes are impressive.
I Love the Destiny necklace and get compliments on it often. I also have the earrings that match!
I love my Monica bracelet because it says, “Hide your crazy”!! I bought quite a few Plunder items off of your party and can’t wait for the new catalog but I especially love how they package everything! It was like a box full of little presents!
Hi Tania! I love reading your blog each day and seeing what you are styling! I’m amazed at your lashes. I’m on my third week of Lash Boost. I would be happy if mine looked just half as full and long as yours! 🙂 Blessings on your day!
Just got the Tabitha necklace. Love that you can wear it long or short.
WOW that was a great picture of your eyelashes, Tania! THey have really grown & you have beautiful eyes! I know the feeling about being older sister – mine was always more popular, had a bigger chest & tons of boyfriends, while I was the studious one. I can’t IMAGINE your sister’s husband saying that to her – you are so beautiful & thin & if she’s smaller, he had NO ROOM to tell her that! And I love considering you my friend as well!
I love the color of those pants! I didn’t see what brand this purse us. I really like it. Have a great day . Have a wonderful day.
I love the ABELA piece….I’m in love with your blog. I am also very blessed in my 50’s to have found a wonderful man that loves me unconditionally after my husband leaving after 22 years of marriage 8 years ago. Your inspiration has been a blessing as well.
I love all the Plunder Jewelry but my favorites are the Destiny and the Olivia necklaces. I also love my Zara bracelet. Love your blog Tania and you are a friend albeit thru this blog. Thanks again for all you do and the mascara name.
I love the Mason earrings and I have a list of the items I want to order this month. I covet your lashes!! 🙂
WOW ON THE LASHES! I want those! My favorite piece is the Carmen necklace. Oh but wait….I love those stone bangle bracelets…hard to pick one.have a great day!
Beautiful outfit, I am new to plunder just starting to order.
Love the items your are wearing today and need to order it
I like your gray jacket. What brand is it? The flats are so cute!
I think Tania might be wearing a Susan Graver jacket, since I have the same one, purchased from QVC.
can understand the eating bit I can’t stop eating cakes and biscuits at the moment, not good as I have to go to WW tomorrow. I love the top it reminds me of a mosaic.
I love the Stevie necklace…so colorful, goes with everything and is my husbands name!
Your brother in law TRIED to get it right! He was right, either answer would have been wrong!! At least we all started the day with a laugh! I loved the way you wore this top last time with the gorgeous buttercup ankle pants. So fun and summery! I love bright pants, but I am afraid I would not wear them alot. Do you find that you wear them more than you thought, or do you gravitate back to black, navy and neutrals?
Love love love that turquoise top on you! I really like the Plunder Fiona bracelet.
I am actually kind of liking that Julie necklace. Maybe it has something to do with the name. 🙂
I’ve ordered several pieces from Plunder and absolutely love them all. I think my favorite though is the Kimberly necklace. When I wear it I always get tons of compliments. I’ve turned my friends onto your blog and ordering from you off Plunder Design.
Thanks so much for your fun blog – I look forward to it everyday!
Robbie
So difficult to pick one, like picking a favorite child. But the Gabby is one of my favorites, classy and looks fresh.
Such a pretty top and I hope we get to see those shoes again. I’d like to see how they look without the pants. Happy International Woman’s Day Tania!

Your lashes look great! Can you post ‘before’ and ‘after’ pics?
Tania, you make may laugh!! However, this post today also rings true for me. It’s not unusual for me to go out to eat with my girlfriends–my husband works nights–and come home and eat. My husband will then say, “Didn’t you just eat?” “Yup,” but I’m hungry again!” LOL.
I have the Destiny necklace with the initial for my last name and love it. It’s going to be a go-to piece for me and it has a classic design that goes with anything, jeans or a nice dress or suit. Looking to get other pieces…the “Hazel” necklace and “Ashton” earrings both make me smile, and they are definitely on my immediate list. I love the inscription on the “Aisha” bracelet, “My Faith is Bigger Than My Fears.” In the past, my fears have held me back, and now I just dive in and do what I want or need to do and not worry about the outcome. That message has inspired me and I just saw it again the other day at Family Dollar on a wall plaque there. God is trying to tell me something. We need to not worry about what others think, etc. and just “go for it!” and have faith. Have a great day!
This whole post made me chuckle. My husband knows who Tania is. Lol. I am always referring to my friend in California, Maryland, Chicago, Canada, etc. followed by ” She’s in a private FB group I’m in.” Ten years ago I wouldn’t have believed it would be possible for me to have real friendships with people online.
I am impressed with your ability to work, create a blog everyday, sell Plunder and R&D.
Great post.
Funny you said this, because I always tell my husband he’s in the dog house. And that’s our code for him to buy me more Lindt truffles!! Talk about addicting!!

The Noah lanyard and the big pearls. Have a lovely day. I have been eating every two hours, like a nursing baby or bear coming out of hibernation.?
I love the Londyn necklace. I love that it can be worn long or short. You can also add “charms” to give it a different look. It’s just so versatile. Your lashes look great!
I Look forward to reading your blog every day. I really enjoy your stories and love your outfits. My favorite plunder jewelry are the bracelets with initials on them. I have 5 – one for each of my grandchildren with their initials on them. When I wear them they will always ask “Nana, which one am I?” I have another grandchild on the way (so excited ) so I will get another bracelet soon. ?
I love the Nadia necklace that I so happened to win from you. Thank you again! I like the way you wore the shirt better this time. I am not a fan of sleeveless tops but I do break down and wear occasionally when it is hot. Your poor brother in law may be in the dog house for a while. Have a blessed day Tania.
One of our family stories is many years ago I was on a diet and asked my husband if he could tell yet that I had lost any weight. His reply, “Oh yeah, you are MUCH less massive than you used to be!” When I expressed my displeasure at this comment, he said “What? I meant that as a sincere compliment!”
You blog makes me smile every morning!! Thank you!!’
I have been following you for over a year. I don’t like the Plunder jewelry with words on them. I really like the gem bracelets. I am partial to bracelets. I need to start buying longer necklaces, your comment was right on. I wish Plunder wouldn’t name every separate. It would be easier if they would have a name like Paige, then have the Paige necklace, Paige earrings, Paige bracelet.
I love the handbag! Is it Dooney and Burke? Which one? You always look great! Have a good day!
I have a lot of favorite Plunder jewelry, but I have to say that I really love the Tylie cuff and Pray pendant! I get compliments every time I wear it! Love your lashes, they look amazing!!!
I have only been reading your blogs a couple of months but I love the necklace you wear that is pearls called “Lottie” or “Dottie”. In your blog you say it might be in the spring catalog. I hope so- because I NEED that neclace. LOL
I love anything with hearts on it. Your looking great.
I love seeing you style the Olivia necklace, there is something about those oversized pearls that catches my attention. I need to order it soon!
When I first started following you ( which has only been 3 months ago ),I would see you wearing the Destiny necklace quite often and it would always catch my eye so I knew I had to have it plus the matching bracelet and earrings(can’t break up the family)ha ha. I didn’t stop there, I ordered 5 more pieces. You have created a Plunder monster! One other necklace that really stood out to me was the Gabbie necklace. I loved that necklace when you put it with the grey shirt and light blue cardigan so of course I had to find me a grey shirt and light blue cardigan. There are still several Plunder pieces that I want and of course, can’t wait to see the spring catalog! Sorry this is so long but your style energizes me! But before I go, I am planning on wearing a sleeveless red dress with white polka dots for Easter ( flare dress). What would you put with this dress?(from head to toe) If you have a dress similar to this, I would love it if you could create this outfit for me (visually) on your blog! LOVE YOUR STYLE!
Haha, that will be a interresting family Christmas diner this year! Haha, poor man! What they answer, it’s never the right answer! Oh , you are so funny.
Wow haven’t seen you in a suit before – looks lovely and they say the pant suit is back on the fashion horizon so you are right up there. I also always talk about my insta friends it’s very funny – my poor hubby doesn’t always get it 😉
Here’s a post I did some time ago about the corporate wardrobe but it’s fitting to what you have on today:

LOL Yvonne
Wow! I’ve been a jewelry junky for quite some time now but live in Washington and only learned of Plunder from your blog. I look forward to seeing you everyday and think you make getting dresssed FUN! It’s a tough decision but I think my favorite necklace is the Carmen with all those colorful tassels. It just looks like spring and summer to me and I would love for it to be the pop of color in my outfits.
I was a teacher for 26 years but due to chronic migraine headaches was forced to leave my classroom in 2010. Since then I have felt a bit lost and am either wearing my pajamas all day long or am trying to figure out how to dress when I don’t have anywhere to go. Tonia, your adorable pictures, funny, down to earth southern commentary and love for the Lord make my day and I just want to say, “Thank you, Friend”! Keep shining and keep being you!
~Kim, fellow jewelry junky and fan girl?
I love the Olivia necklace and the Paige bracelet. So pearly and so chunky ❤❤
Oh poor men, whatever they say they can’t win can they ? I love the colour of your top next to the charcoal grey and your skin looks AMAZING!
