The other day, I dropped my husband off at physical therapy, and I went shopping at Walmart. I’ve mentioned before that decorating isn’t my strong point, but I love a decorated home. I love switching things around each season, and because I easily get tired of decorations, I don’t want to spend a lot of money on them. Here is the Easter decor I bought from Walmart and how I’m using it in my home.

Easter Decor I Bought From Walmart For The Kitchen

This is the area over my stove. It has a small ledge about 4 or 5 inches wide, and I only recently thought about decorating that area.

I fell in love with these Easter Flocked Bunnies when I saw them in the store. They are available in a couple of different sizes and colors; this is the 16″ size, which was perfect for this spot. I added a couple of whimsical straw bunnies to fill in the open spot. Plus, they were so dang cute I couldn’t leave without them.

The egg wreath fits this space perfectly. I added a suction cup behind the wreath to help hold it tight to the cabinet. I don’t want it falling while I’m cooking dinner. Lol! That would be a lot of scrambled eggs. Hahaha! This wreath would work outdoors, too, if the area were covered.

Under the stovetop, I added a Bunny Kitchen Towel Set. The set is super cute, but I wish I had bought something that more of a mint color. I found some cute ones online; which set do you think would work best?

Easter Decor I Bought From Walmart For The Hearth

My hearth has looked bare ever since I took down my Christmas decor. I love the vintage mirror my mom gave me, and the mantle clock that was my great Aunt Ts. I added two of the 16 inch mint flocked bunnies and a Green & White Bunny Trail sign.

It still looked bare, so I added a 5 ft. Speckled Faux Egg Garland, and that helped a lot. The garland matches the wreath I have over my stove, so I might add another garland somewhere else in my kitchen.

I love how well you can see the texture of the flocked bunny in this picture.

You can see that the Bunny Trail sign is dimensional. It is 20 inches long and matches the mint-colored bunnies, egg garland, and wreath perfectly.

Easter Decor I Bought From Walmart For The Dining Room

I have big ideas for my dining table, but I’m not sure it will ever happen. I’ve had the Acacia Wood Rectangle Tray with Gold Color Handles for a couple of years, and I bought some Easter grass to put on it with a couple of small 9-inch Flocked Bunnies in pale pink and mint green. I thought the Grapevine Carrots and multi-colored Flocked Eggs would look good lying on the tray, but I’m starting to have doubts.

I bought the Decorative Dough Bowl around Christmas time, and I filled it with a bag of Flocked Eggs. This is sitting on a table behind my dining table, and it looks adorable.

Have you seen any classy Easter decor including the empty tomb, the 3 crosses, and perhaps some bible verses. I would love it if Willow Tree would create sets for Easter as they do for Christmas.

I love everything you bought! So stinkin’ cute! I was in Walmart earlier and they had all of the left over Easter items for 90% off. I was able to buy some bunnies. They are adorable! ♥️

I bought the egg wreath from Walmart, and it looks more expensive than it is! it’s even better than the picture shows!

  3. Hi, I love everything you bought. I also love the wood mirror from your mom it’s beautiful and the grapevine carrots are cute I haven’t seen that kind before. I also have a grapevine Christmas tree that my husband & father-in-law made with the grapevine vines from the woods on our farm over 20 years old. I sometimes switch it out for the different holidays. I look forward to your posts each day and the Bible verse(s) Have a blessed new day!

I usually don’t think of Walmart for decorations. And how cute they are! I ordered the wreath.
