Wow! It seems like it took FOREVER, but the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now open to everybody!!! However, the sale has already been heavily shopped, so there will be many SOLD OUT or low inventory items. I will link these items anyway because Nordstrom will restock some of them, and there will be many returns. So, if you like something, I encourage you to add it to your wish list because I think they will send you an email once it is back in stock. Or, you can just keep checking back to see if any more sizes have been added.

 

 

Wouldn’t you know it, the first item that I am linking to is all sold out, or it is for now. There are a few Plus sizes available, so maybe you will get lucky. When this happens, I’ll try to find you some similar options that you might like just as well.

 

 

I love the colors of this floral midi dress, and I was so excited to get it in. This is BOLD and colorful, and that is my love language. However, I am not sure that I love the dress enough to keep it. The tiered dress style is in full swing right now, and I haven’t fallen for the oversized fit. I ordered my usual size 12, so maybe I should have sized down to get a slimmer fit.

Here are some other dresses that are in the sale that I think you will like. BTW, I am not sure if the sale price will show on the widgets, but everything is on sale that I am linking to. Also, the Sold Out feature isn’t updating, so don’t pay any attention to that either.

 

I hope you weren’t overly fond of the backpack handbag either. Yep! It is completely sold out!

 

 

I love the handbag’s look, but I don’t wear backpacks, so this bag is confusing to me. I am not sure if I will be keeping it for that reason. I love the messenger bag look, so let me see if I can find some of those for you.

 

 

I can’t believe it!!! Finally, something is in stock! The classic two-tone watch by Tory Burch will go with anything. This style looks great with jeans, and it looks fabulous with a dress or suit. I have always loved the two-tone style since it looks great with gold or silver. I normally wear a size 7 bracelet, and this watch fits me great without any adjustments. It is a tad loose which is exactly how I like my watch to fit.

 

 

These suede ankle booties are the bomb! I love this pair so much that I also ordered the black version. The pointy cap toe in leather looks fabulous with this dress, and it also looks great with jeans. I love a pointy toe because it elongates your legs. This boot is a pull-on style, and I wasn’t sure that I would like that. However, the boot slipped on easily with minimal effort. I am wearing my usual size 9, so these run TTS.

 

 

We are back to “sold out” items again. Well, that isn’t completely true, this oversized popcorn knit sweater is available in XS in navy, but that is all for now.

 

 

I love the neckline and the popcorn knit design; however, I should have ordered a medium instead of a large one. The sweater is oversized, and the large is way too big for me. This one will be going back for that reason.

 

This is one time that I shouldn’t have listened to the website’s description. I am wearing a pair of AG Cigarette ankle jeans, and I think they are too tight on me. The website said that if you were between sizes, you should size down. Since I normally size up in AG Jeans to a 31, I ordered a size 30 instead. Big mistake! These will have to go back, but at least there is stock in them at this time.

 

 

I am so excited about these wedge suede booties by UGG. Last year, I finally broke over and tried UGG boots. I haven’t been a fan of the “style” of UGG boots, but the warmth and softness won me over. This pair gives me the style factor that I was missing, so I quickly grabbed them when I went to Atlanta shopping.

They are just as warm and just as soft as the other UGG boots that I bought. These boots also come in Charcoal Gray and Black if you already have too many of this Chestnut color. I did size up to a 9.5, and I love the way that they fit! These are at a $51.00 savings, so grab them while you can.

 

 

I wanted to show you the shape of this AllSaints leather handbag because the photo on the website is misleading. I was sure that they had sent me the wrong handbag when I opened the package.

 

 

This look is more like the website, and this was achieved after I loaded the handbag with items. It is a great leather bag, but I’ll probably send it back since I wanted the hobo look, and this is not what I wanted. But the leather is super nice.

 

 

This is one of my favorite looks! I love everything about this outfit because it coordinates so well together.

 

 

Even though I loved the silky softness of this crewneck cashmere sweater, I wasn’t sure that I loved the brown taupe color. I debated whether I would wear it this fall when I noticed that my faux-suede moto jacket just matched it.

 

 

I had already decided the faux-suede jacket by Kut From The Kloth was staying in my closet because it is incredibly soft and looks terrific on. Of course, the jacket is already sold out! I can’t even say that I am surprised about that since this jacket drapes so nicely.

 

 

Here is a great beige one that is also by Kut From The Kloth. It isn’t on sale, but it is still under $90.00, which isn’t a bad price.

 

 

These wide-leg flare jeans from 7 For All Mankind were my most anticipated purchase. I couldn’t wait for these to come in, and I even ordered two sizes to make sure that I got the right size. The good news is, my usual size 30 fit like a dream!!! The bad news is, the inseam is 36″ long, and these drag the ground just a tad, even with a platform boot. Also, they are completely sold out. UGH!!! I know that you are getting frustrated, and so am I.

 

 

This pair by Joe’s Jeans was my favorite jeans from last year’s sale, and they are on sale again this year. They are the same dark wash, and they too are long, but not quite as long as the others. You would probably still need a platform shoe unless you had very long legs. I did size up to a 31 because I have found that Joe’s Jeans run a little small.

 

 

I am surprised that this Coach turnlock clasp handbag is still in stock. I love the size of this bag, and I think that it is a great medium size. The bag has two separate compartments, and one compartment can be secured with the turnlock closure. The color block colors of the handbag are what I really love. The handle is a deep brown color, the sides are medium brown, and the front and back are chalky ivory. If you love Coach handbags, then you will love this one. And, it is on sale for over 150.00 dollars off!!!

 

If you need a platform ankle boot, then this pair by Steve Madden is a perfect choice. The platform is 1 1/4″ high, and the heel is 3 1/2″ tall. I love this pair, and they are definitely in the top 10 of my favorite purchases from this sale. I also love the lug sole that is trending at the moment. I am wearing my normal size, so these run TTS. This sand color is sold out, but there is a beautiful Cognac color available. I didn’t buy that color since I had already purchased a very similar pair by Tory Burch.

 

 

I think that this is a great transition fall outfit. I love the deep teal and caramel leather accessories. I am wearing the headband, not from Nordstrom; it is actually a faux-leather headband from Target.

 

 

This semi-off-the-shoulder knit top is very soft and comfortable. I love this top and the way that it looks. I would probably style the top differently, but I am trying to show as many items from the Nordstrom sale as possible. This color is sold out, but I have also ordered this same top in an animal print. I am wearing a medium, and I think that it fits great!

 

 

Just another sold-out product! These AG straight leg jeans fit great, and I was smart enough to size up in them. If they do re-stock them, you need to remember that little tip. I am wearing a 31 instead of my usual size 30, and they fit great.

 

It is hard to find a pair of cute flat loafers. I think that brands are starting to up their game for flats and are now offering a lot more variety. I love the two-tone buckle on this pair, and I think it elevates their look.

Although the style is important, what you really care about is the comfort level. This pair has a cushioned footbed, and they are extremely comfortable!

 

 

I am wearing my usual size 9, so these run TTS. Here is a close-up view of the heel and sole of the driving loafer.

 

 

This casual outfit is great for fall. I love the muted colors, and just wait until you feel this sweater!

 

 

This super, super soft turtleneck sweater is already in my closet. I love the feel of this sweater, and I love a big bulky cowl neck. This color has already sold out, but there is a light gray color that is still available. The sweater does run large, so I am wearing a medium, and it fits great.

These are the Itty Bitty Bootcut Jeans by Wit & Wisdom. I love Wit & Wisdom jeans for their style and their fit. They are extremely comfortable, and I have loved every pair that I have purchased. They do have a lot of stretch to them, so you may need to size down in them. I did that with this pair, and I am wearing an 8 instead of my usual size 10. Unfortunately, they are also almost completely sold out. I sure hope that these get restocked because you will love this pair.

 

 

These are the lug-sole platform boots by Tory Burch that I mentioned earlier. They call this color “almond,” but I think that it looks like caramel. The platform is not as large as the Steve Madden pair above since it is only 1/2″ tall. However, the heels are the same height at 3 1/2″. These boots run true to size, and I am wearing my usual size 9.

I have a BUNCH more to show you, so watch for more to come your way soon. I already have photos of some items, and I’ll be taking photos of other things that have just arrived.

Don’t get frustrated if things stay sold out; it is just clothing and not worth being aggravated. I am sure that I can find lots of other things to take your mind off of it.
