I love luxe loungewear. It is basically loungewear in an elevated material or style. That way, I can wear it around the house, but run to the store or out to lunch without having to change clothes. Chico’s sent me this outfit as a Christmas present which was really nice of them.

I laughed when I saw these photos because I opened the box and put the set on immediately. You might notice that I didn’t take time to even steam the outfit. Since Chico’s is having a 30% off sale, now would be a good time to grab a few things, including this set.

I have a LOT of clothing from Talbots that I need to take photos of so that I can get them on the blog. I’m going to try and do that today if it doesn’t rain. I already had this outfit, so I thought I’d share it with you today.

I’m a huge fan of Talbot’s cashmere sweaters, so I order them every time I find them on sale. The one I’m wearing is a great neutral with a subtle metallic thread which is perfect for the holidays.

If my cardigans have a belt, I will usually tie it in the back. I love a cable knit design, and the dark walnut color is a trending color that I’ve embraced this year.

I have several corduroy jeggings from Talbots, and I wear them every year. The caramel pair is perfect for fall, and they look great tucked into a pair of knee high riding boots.

Jeans and a sweater are a perfect casual outfit. This look is fine to wear around the house, but add some nice jewelry, and it looks great to head out for lunch date with friends.

The gorgeous jewelry from Brighton makes a beautiful statement against the Cornflower Blue sweater. The sweater is sooo soft, and I like the longer length. I’m wearing a large, but I think a medium would have fit better.

I’ve carried the Leather Large Triple Compartment Satchel a lot this summer. It is more structured than the bags I usually carry. It is perfect for a work handbag and large enough for an iPad or small laptop to fit inside.

Here is another soft sweater from Amazon, and I bought the correct size this time.

A v-neck is my favorite neckline since it elongates your neck. The color I’m wearing is Dark Chestnut Brown, and it is perfect for fall and winter. I’m lumping this is the chocolate brown category, so it works as a trending color.

The Mid Rise Tapered Jeans and Rust Suede Pumps are both from Ann Taylor. The jeans fit me great and have a slightly relaxed fit. I have a lot of shoes from Ann Taylor, and they are great quality. They run true to size and have held up great.

Layering is a great way to elevate an outfit. The sweater and jeans outfit looks nice, but the addition of the jewelry, heels, and Plaid Double Breasted Coat really elevates the look.

Double breasted jackets and coats always seem to run oversized, so I ordered a small. Even the small seems really big on me, but it is warm and looks beautiful. Look how perfectly the Foldover Clutch matches the coat!

This is my favorite outfit! I love everything about this outfit, and it has found its way into my closet.

I told you chocolate brown was trending and that I’ve embraced the color this year. This deep rich color looks luxurious, and I’m a HUGE fan of it. If I hadn’t read the description of the coatigan, I would have sworn that it was real leather. I love how it is a mixture of faux leather and knit, and the coatigan fits me perfectly. The Long Sleeve Turtleneck Top matches the coatigan perfectly for a beautiful tonal look. The top is silky and the large fits me great. I don’t like my tops to fit too snugly or they will shop my lumps and bumps.

Here is how it looks from the back. This is an elegant look! I added the Cranberry Suede Pumps and cranberry leather clutch to the look. The clutch has sold out, but the suede pumps are still available in limited sizes. They fit true to size.

The core of the outfit above is still here, but I switched out the coatigan, shoes, and handbag for an unusual casual look.

The Plaid Long Belted Poncho is a gorgeous color, and looks great with jeans. The poncho has slits for the belt to go through, which holds the poncho together. I like ponchos, but not the kind that swings open. This is the best of both worlds. It would have looked great with the cranberry clutch and heels, but I wanted to show how you could wear it in a casual way with the Zoe sueded d’Orsay flats and Foldover Clutch.
