WE CAN ALL USE MORE FRIENDS
When I first started blogging, I had no idea what I was doing. I bet some of you think that I still don’t, and you are probably correct. Lol! But, one of the nagging questions for me was, “how do you ever grow an audience?” I could Google and YouTube a lot of questions about blogging in general, but I was still mystified how anyone in other parts of the country would be able to find a brand new little blogger from Virginia. I am sure that there are tons of ways to get “discovered” but I think that I owe a lot of thanks to a few bloggers who took the time to introduce me to their audience.
So, I am in turn going to start paying it forward. I hope to introduce a blogger to you each Friday in a series that I am calling, Friday with Friends. Today is the inaugural start, and I am thrilled that a beautiful friend of mine from North Carolina is going to be joining me. Beverly and I first talked months ago when she emailed me a blogging question. Since then we have become good friends, and I immediately thought of her when I came up with this series. I know you will love her blog if you haven’t already found it. The name of her blog is BandBblog.com which I am guessing is named after her and her husband who both have “B” names. You can call me Sherlock if you want to since I have fantastic deduction capabilities. Lol! BUT, don’t get in too big a rush to go and check her out, finish reading my blog first. Hahaha!
I couldn’t wait to show you this new sweater that I just got in. This is beautiful, and even though you can’t see it, there is a small metallic thread that is in the material. I love the neckline because you can wear it off the shoulders (it was too cold show a true off the shoulder look) or it can be worn as a cowl neck. I love how soft and snuggly it is. I will warn you that it does run large, so you might want to size down one size. I am wearing a medium, and it fits perfectly. Here is the link to the Caslon top, and it does come in a light gray color also.
As soon as I opened the package and saw the top, I knew that I would be wearing this with the Tessie earrings. I knew that the colors of the sweater and the earrings would go well together. I also wanted to add the Rochelle leopard print cuff bracelet because it is black and brown. And finally, I added the Kiana necklace with the beautiful champagne beads and gold chains. I LOVE this necklace!!! Remember that Valentine’s Day is coming up soon, so save your significant other the hassle and buy your own present. Tell them they don’t have to stress and you get something that you like. Lol! I am speaking from experience. Hahaha! Go HERE to shop and be sure to pick a party with my name in it.
These jeans are a brand new purchase also, and I can tell that I am going to love them. If for no other reason, I had to have these jeans because of the name…Tanya. Lol! These jeans are by Reba, and I looked at them earlier, but I forgot to order them. That ended up working in my favor since I found them again and this time they were on clearance. I hesitated to order because I couldn’t return them if they didn’t fit, but I went ahead and took the chance. They fit PERFECT! I ordered my usual size, which is a 10, and I couldn’t be happier. Don’t you love the fringe at the hem and the metal rings that give these jeans personality plus? They are going FAST, so if you are interested in these, go HERE and go now!
Don’t forget to go and check out Beverly over at BandBBlog, and make sure that you tell her that I sent you. I hope you will enjoy this new series, we could all use some new friends,

Tania, you look gorgeous in this cowl neck! I love your style and have learned so much about how to create my style by following your blog. Tania, I just read this post and wanted to let you know and two others are who inspired me to start my stylingonpurpose.com blog six months ago. I have enjoyed it immensely but it has been a steep learning curve and a massive amount of work. I am an 8th grade literature teacher so my daily blog has the be in my spare time. I am 50+ and that’s what I gear my site toward; affordable style for the modern woman. Thank you for your support of newbies in this field.
