50 IS NOT OLD | WHAT TO WEAR WHILE RUNNING ERRANDSWhat an absolutely beautiful day we had on Friday! That is how Fridays should always be, bright, warm, and sunny. I left work early to go over to Willowbrook Country Club and take pictures of a golf tournament they were having. Joe took Willowbrook as his project a couple years ago and has become the course manager. It is a gorgeous place with lush greens, ponds, and it is surrounded by mountains. I love going with him in the afternoons and just riding in the cart, it is so peaceful and quite.50 IS NOT OLD | WHAT TO WEAR WHILE RUNNING ERRANDSHowever, it was not quite or peaceful Friday. The tournament was full of law enforcement from all over the county and surrounding counties. My Energizer Bunny Friend was supposed to be the “beer” girl and I was the photographer. We had some actual business to take care of before we could go over so we were running a tad bit late. By the time we got there they were almost finished and probably thirsty. Lol! Men are funny creatures! When two women come riding up in a golf cart, they just beam!! We, of course, gave them a hard time, joking and harassing them, and then made them pose for a picture. I tried to get some pictures that I could use against them if they ever pulled me over for speeding but they wouldn’t fall for that. Hahaha 50 IS NOT OLD | WHAT TO WEAR WHILE RUNNING ERRANDS Since it is Saturday, I thought you might enjoy seeing how I dress on a typical Saturday. I am sure I am like many of you when I say that you will find me in a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. Now that it is getting warmer it won’t be too much longer before the jeans are retired and shorts take their place. This is just a simple gray t-shirt but it is a woman’s cut. If you wear a man’s cut then you will look more like a box because they have no shape. I know some of you are saying that you don’t want your “rolls” showing and neither do I. Wearing a shirt that is too big for you makes you look bigger than if you wear a fitted shirt that even shows a roll or two.


50 IS NOT OLD | WHAT TO WEAR WHILE RUNNING ERRANDS If I am running around the house on a Saturday then I am probably not in full jewelry mode. This is what I look like when I “leave” the house. I put on jewelry and lipstick and then head out the door. The earrings and necklace match and there is also a bracelet that I have ordered but it hasn’t come in yet. You can purchase any of these separately or as a set which will save you 4.00. The earrings are the Aubrey and the necklace is called the Sookie. That reminds me of an old HBO show that we watched until it got too weird called True Blood. It was about vampires (I am not sure when I thought it got too weird) and Sookie was the main characters name. I love all the fringe that hangs from this necklace and it is perfect to wear with a v-neck or a crew neck. How do you like this bracelet? It looks like a belt with the way the latch closes. You would think that you latched the bracelet when you put it on but it is another one that has elastic and it just slips over your wrist. This is called the Sampson. 50 IS NOT OLD | WHAT TO WEAR WHILE RUNNING ERRANDS The longer necklace might be adding too much. What do you think? I tend to layer my necklaces and bracelets so I like a lot of items but if you are not comfortable you can leave off one. It is all about choices, you take what you like from my outfit and make it your own. This necklace is called the Ava and it is very blingy. The pendant and the three large stones on both sides of the chain are rhinestone. My Wanda bracelet is also on an elastic band for easy on and off. I never thought about it until Becky mentioned it in a comment that the elastic type bracelets were great for those with arthritis. I have opened a new party so make sure that you are shopping under tania11. Some of you have asked about how I store my jewelry and I thought I would show you what I just bought. I love this over the door organizer. I needed this large one because I have so much jewelry.

50 IS NOT OLD | WHAT TO WEAR WHILE RUNNING ERRANDSJust a pair of skinny jeans that I rolled up to have a cuff is my choice today. This is a pair by Earl Jean that I bought at TJ Maxx. I love this pair because they have a lot of stretch in them. The bad thing is that when you sit down you have to constantly pull them back up because they slid down. The woes of wearing stretchy jeans. Lol!

50 IS NOT OLD | WHAT TO WEAR WHILE RUNNING ERRANDSI chose a pair of t-strap navy sandals because this is just my run around town outfit. These are super easy to get on and take off. I am really into ease right now. I hate when I have shoes to put on that the buckle is super hard to close and you are twisted in all kinds of positions trying to fasten them. This is a pair by Tommy Hilfiger and I will wear them all summer long with almost anything. They go great with pants, shorts, or dresses.

50 IS NOT OLD | WHAT TO WEAR WHILE RUNNING ERRANDS How do you like my new pose? Lol! I may have to start using this one more often because it hides my tummy area. Hahaha!

I didn’t tell you gurls because I have a hard time patting myself on the back. I send out emails the first of the month with instructions on how to edit your cart and on how to delay the shipment. There is never any reason to order something you don’t want or need.

I do love the lash boost and have been using it about 6 weeks and my eyelashes, tho still very sparse, are a bit longer and I like the way they look with mascara.     I’m new to your website and following, but I’ve really enjoyed everything that I’ve read so far.

    I couldn’t help replying to you after reading your comment or difficulties with the skinny jeans. I’ve always had a difficult time finding a pair or jeans, let alone pants that fit me or that I felt comfortable in.

    I recently found that I like the fit of jeggings or dress pants that are similar to the cut of jeggings. I really like the fit that I’ve found from Vera Wang, from Kohl’s. I’m usually able to find what I want on sale there or can use a coupon or discount to lower the original price of an item.
