What I Found At Chico’s For Spring
Life has been hectic since I ran into Chico’s for a try-on session. It has been a few weeks, but I have finally had time to sit down and grab all the links to the clothing. This was one of my favorite try-on hauls, and I loved everything I tried on. So, grab a drink and get ready to see what I found at Chico’s for Spring.
For sizing reference, I’m 5’6″ tall and weigh between 150 and 155 lbs. I typically wear a size .5 in bottoms and a size 1 in tops in Chico’s clothing.
I’m loving shades of green this year, and I’ve found many gorgeous tops at Chico’s. I styled a few other pieces in this post if you want to see more. I try to style some items in more than one way to show you how to get more wear from your wardrobe.
The Flare Sleeve Cardigan and Spun Rayon Tank are a beautiful color, and I love the quality of the spun rayon. The sleeves have a slight flare and button details. The V-neck tank is flattering, and the size 1 fits me perfectly. The store didn’t have a size 1 in the cardigan, so I’m styling a .5. It fits me fine, but I would prefer a size 1 for a little extra room. Both items are available in several colors if green isn’t your vibe.
All the outfits show me wearing these No Droop™ White Flower Earrings. They are gorgeous statement earrings that will look great with everything this summer. Although they are large, they aren’t heavy and feel comfortable.
In the first two outfits, I’m wearing Ponte Trim Detail Ankle Pants. These are stretchy and make me feel like I’m wearing dressy leggings. They have a small trim detail at the pockets for a little extra interest. These are available in more colors and fit true to size.
Do you ever leave a store and kick yourself for not buying something? That was me after I left without this white Fringe Knit Poncho. I already own the Contour Cotton Square Neck Tank that I’m wearing under it, and I think this poncho would look so cute with jeans and shorts this summer.
To make my point, I’m wearing it with the Girlfriend Fray Hem Kick Flare Jeans (which I already own), and it looks soooo dang cute. Well, I know how to fix this issue; it is as simple as hitting Add To Cart. Lol! I’m wearing a S/M, and it fits great. The poncho is also available in a couple of other colors.
This outfit manages to make me look slimmer than I am. It could be the color of the top or that it makes my shoulders look broader, which slims my waist. I like the effect no matter what caused it.
The Shawl Neck Cropped Cardigan was one of the nicest items I tried on. It is a heavier weight and great quality, so it would be perfect for those who live in cooler climates. I love the colors, the design, and the fringe detail. This cardigan checks off a LOT of boxes!
If there is a leopard print in the vicinity, I have to try it on. I thought the top looked great with these trouser jeans. The large hem on the jeans is a nice detail, and I love the width of the pants. The color I’m wearing is the Lotus Indigo, and I have on a size 1.
The Spun Rayon Mosaic V-Neck Pullover looks like a tee, but it is a lightweight pullover sweater. I tucked it in above to show the pant’s details, but I have it loose here so you can see the length. Hmmm, is this a leopard print or a cobblestone print? I can see wearing this with a pair of wide-leg navy pants on a date night or with jeans or shorts for running errands.
This outfit shocked me. There are times when I will try on an item, even though I don’t think I’m going to like it. I encourage you to do the same because you might get shocked like I did.
This Applique Sleeve Tee is out of my comfort zone and not my usual style. However, the minute I tried it on, I knew it would be coming home with me. It is a tee, so the material is soft and comfy. The tee looks dressy, and can be worn with a skirt as a wedding guest look. I’ll probably wear it most with jeans or shorts and keep it as an elevated casual look.
I love navy and camel, so I tried the tee on with these Cotton Sateen Cropped Pants in Teakwood. These pants are a great neutral color and can be dressed up or down. They look nice with the Pointed Bow Flats I’m wearing, but I would dress them up with a pair of heels.
I still stayed in the navy family but added a sweater with a bit of flair to these pants. Lilac, and purple in general, has been slowly adding itself to my cart this spring. I have to say, I’m not sad about that! Lol!
The Floral Dolman Pullover Sweater is one of my favorite items in this what I found at Chico’s for Spring post. It feels so soft and is very comfortable. The sweater looked great with the Teakwood crops, but the sweater really pops with these ankle pants.
The Basic Slit Ankle Pants are a favorite of mine when you need a dressy pair of pants that are comfortable. They fit great, have a nice amount of stretch, and look gorgeous. These are available in several colors, but the purple looked so nice with the floral sweater.
I told you I was loving purple this year. I can’t wait to see who my ladies are who would wear this bold outfit! I love the fun and playful design of the pants, and you could tone them down by wearing a solid navy top. I think this Banded Hem Top would look fabulous with them, or pretty much anything. Make sure you leave me a comment to let me know your thoughts on these Abstract Ankle Pants.
I love wearing in linen in the summer months, and this No Iron™ Linen 3/4 Sleeve Shirt snuck its way into my bag as I was checking out. Shirts like these are so versatile, and I wear them in several ways. They look great buttoned, worn open with a tank underneath, partially buttoned, or tied at the waist. I also wear them as swimsuit cover-ups. This shirt is available in the most gorgeous spring colors. Check them out for yourself, but be aware they are sneaky, and one or two might jump in your cart. Lol!
