What I’m Predicting to Be the Top Trends of 2024
As we continue to head into 2024, it’s time to start thinking about the top fashion trends that we can expect to see in the months ahead. From new color trends to revamped aesthetics, the fashion world is always changing and evolving. Here’s what I’m predicting to be the top fashion trends of 2024. Let me know what you gurls think about them in the comments!
What I’m Predicting to Be the Top Trends of 2024
Peach and Apricot
First up, let’s chat about color trends! Pantone has announced their 2024 color of the year: Peach Fuzz. This warm, inviting color is sure to be everywhere in the spring of 2024, from dresses to handbags to shoes. Expect to see a lot of muted, pastel tones that reflect the changing seasons and, hopefully, some bold pinks and oranges moving into summer. I couldn’t find photos of me in true peach, so I have some shopping to do, gurls! What about you?

Bows on Everything
Another trend on the horizon is bows on everything, which is sometimes referred to as the coquette aesthetic or hyperfeminine style. This trend is all about embracing the girly side of fashion, with delicate bows and frills adorning everything from blouses to skirts to shoes. It’s a fun and playful trend that’s perfect for anyone who loves to experiment with different styles.

Preppy Styles

Back to prep is another trend that we’re expecting to see in 2024. Think striped button-downs, polo shirts, and academic blazers, all with a modern twist. This trend is all about embracing classic styles and making them relevant for today’s fashion scene. It’s a great way to add a touch of sophistication to your wardrobe without sacrificing comfort or practicality.

Grandpa Chic

Grandpa chic is another trend that’s gaining popularity, and we expect to see it take off in 2024. I don’t know about this one, gurls! I don’t think I need to borrow any fashion tips from elderly men, haha. This trend is all about embracing oversized silhouettes, chunky knits, and vintage-inspired pieces that are reminiscent of your grandfather’s wardrobe. It’s a fun and quirky trend that’s perfect for anyone who loves to experiment with different styles and push the boundaries of fashion, but I’m not sure it’s for me! I do love an oversized sweater and a good loafer, so maybe I can just embrace parts of it.

Sustainability and Thrifting
Finally, we have sustainability and thrifting. More and more people are becoming aware of the impact that fashion has on the environment, and we expect to see this trend continue to grow in 2024. From recycled fabrics to thrifting and upcycling, sustainable fashion is all about creating a more eco-friendly and socially responsible fashion industry. You can search for sustainable style on Nordstrom, and you will find items with an emblem that lets you know they meet that guideline. Here are a few examples.

Me personally will not be wearing peach, definitely does not look good on me! No grandpa look either as anything oversize drowns me. Preppy look I can get behind and the bows will be a hit with me. Thanks for the info.
I like the peach and apricot colors but feel they wash me out. Do you have suggestions? Thank you and I do enjoy reading your emails!
Peach is not a color I’m fond of either. I’m going to try a handbag, and even a darker peach pair of pants worn with navy.
I love shopping at thrift stores! Great finds for a fraction of the cost.
So glad to see bows coming back! I feel like they are very classic and timeless! Thanks for sharing.
peach colors, love that! You look great in the blouse. I’m with you on grandpa chic, I’m not wanting to go that way.
Love the peach and apricot colors…. my colors! I use them often so nice to know that I will be ‘trendy’. It’s a no for the Grandpa look. I do like the preppy looks because they tend to look “pulled together”.
Love the peach and apricot colors…. my colors!
I like thrifting for better known brands in clothes and sustainability from stores like Nordstrom. Not sure I’m ready to try Grandpa style, but maybe I’ll look at the men’s section in my favorite resale shop. Never say never, right?
Thanks for the update. My favorite style is prep. It always has been. What is hard for me are some of the postings as I live in SW Florida. Please keeps the suggestions coming.
Love the peach and apricot – so pretty!
