WHAT TO WEAR ON A COOL AND CRISP SATURDAY FALL MORNING

It was cool and crisp this morning when I woke up. Joe was already awake, and I found him on the couch, all snuggled up in one of my blankets. I, of course, had to tease him about being under my snow leopard print blanket, but he never batted an eye. In a few minutes, he got up to go and get another cup of coffee. He threw the blanket over his shoulders and did a cat-walk dance as he walked by me. Lol!

Joe is a nut, but he is my nut, and he sure makes me laugh. I can’t blame him for grabbing that blanket, though; it is the most insanely soft blanket that I’ve ever gotten. I bought it in gray several years ago, and it is monogrammed with my initials. Last Christmas, the store came out with the leopard print version, so I also had to have that. Plus, I gave them away as Christmas presents. They were a huge hit. These are only available in white and gray, but you need to check these out if you know someone who loves to snuggle.

On a cool and crisp Saturday, I want soft, cozy, and snuggly. This oversized hoodie sweater knocks it out of the ballpark in all three categories. It is very soft and cozy, and the yarn isn’t scratchy at all. For me, I always will pick softness over style for my stay-at-home items, but I like finding things that combine both softness and style. I think that this hoodie accomplished that with ease.

I am not sure why anyone needs a hoodie, especially since it isn’t rainproof. I’m pretty sure that I’ve never worn a hoodie with the hood pulled up. Lol! But, I guess that I could if my ears were cold. Hahahaha!

Here is the length of the hoodie, and it is a great length for wearing with leggings. No bottom showing shots here! I am wearing a medium, and it is still oversized enough for me. The sweater is lightweight but not thin, so it will be great for the cool and crisp days to come. There are two colors available, the brown color that I am wearing and also light gray.

If you really want something soft and cozy, then this cashmere blend hoodie is also very nice. Don’t ask me why, but I ordered it in the same brown color. Lol!

I am still carrying this Clare V. handbag, and it is still floppy in this photo. However, I have added a purse insert that I showed in yesterday’s blog post, and it now stands upright on its own.

These pants are AWESOME! I would not call these pants casual, but that is how I chose to wear them today. In fact, I think that these are great dress pants, but the material is so comfortable, I decided to wear them all day long. They are awesome Ponte knit pants, and the So-Slimming panel is perfect for gurls like me who carry more weight in their tummy region than they want.

I am wearing a size 1, and the fit is perfect! These pants come in several colors, and I also bought the Cranberry Spice pair since I think they will look great this fall and winter.

You would think that I bought these Tory Burch sneakers just to match my hoodie. Lol! The neutral color made me purchase these sneakers; I knew that I could wear them with almost anything. They run TTS, and I am wearing my usual size 9.

These sneakers are on the expensive side, but I found these Sam Edleman sneakers that will give you the same look, and they are under $60.00.

Be watching for a post where I am wearing these Ponte knit pants in a dressy and casual/dress style. You know that I love clothing that can be worn in several different ways. So, I’ll show you how I wore these differently and hopefully give you more ideas.

I hope you liked my “cool and crisp morning” style. I actually love it when the weather turns cool and crisp and the sky gets so clear and bright. When it turns cold and bitter, that is a whole different thing. You can keep that weather; I am not a fan! Lol!
