WHAT WERE THE MOST POPULAR POSTS FROM 2021
Each year at this time, I look back over the past year and see what worked and what didn’t. This time of reflection works on my personal life as well as for my blogging business. I’ve included a survey at the bottom of the post, so please take the time to fill that out so I can make my blog even better in 2022.
I’ve enjoyed sharing my family with all of you, and I hope that you have loved meeting all of them. In my personal life, I’m busy trying to pack things up and move into the house we bought back in April. We’ve been dragging our feet when it comes to packing up, but it is time to get in gear. It couldn’t come at a better time since ORGANIZING is on my to-do list each January-March, so I’ll purge and organize while I’m packing.
I’ll be doing an updated Purge and Organize post soon, but here is one that I did last year when I was painting the interior of my house. What do I need in order to get organized?
In looking over the most read posts of 2021, I was shocked at some of them. Here are the top posts, and if you’ve not read them, I encourage you to take some time and look over them today.

I was surprised that your posts about the clothes Joe picked out didn’t make the top posts list. I really liked those. Happy New Year to you both!
Gayle, those posts might have been a favorite, but the only way that I can gauge a favorite is by pageviews. A lot of that has to do with the time of the year that a post is done. Views are always down in the summer because people are enjoying the outside and not reading blogs as much. They are also down between Thanksgiving and Christmas since they are doing family things.
Happy New Year! I started following you last Fall because of Jo-Lynne Shane, and I’m so happy she introduced you! I thoroughly enjoy all of your posts. We are having new carpet installed in our whole home by the end of January. Having to clear out everything but the heavy furniture, will force us to do some purging and Winter cleaning, instead of Spring cleaning. I am so looking forward to having the carpet replaced, but am really dreading the work we have to do, especially since Larry is a cancer patient & can’t do as much as he’d like too. Keep telling yourself how nice it will be to have everything in one home! 😃
I enjoy all your posts. I have tried several over 50 bloggers and I only follow 2. You keep it real and I love that. Have a blessed 2022.
Teresa, that is so sweet and such a great compliment.
Just as you state to purge is one of your goals, you show the pic of Joe! He’s not one of the items to go, is he🤣🤣
Lol! Judy, that’s funny, but there is NO WAY that I’m going to purge Joe!
I liked jeans and cowboy boots post the best. But I also liked 10 tips to look polished because I really like your hair off your face. Thanks for your blog. You are awesome.
I found it interesting that jeans and cowboy boots was the most viewed post of the entire year.
Took survey. I love your blog so if it stayed the same, it’s all good. You don’t fix it if it ain’t broke and it ain’t broke. It’s fun, informative and a real person writes it, Some blogs are just so……too.perfect. Uninteresting.
Eve, I loved your comment. It made me laugh since I think you called me perfectly imperfect. Hahaha!
Happy New Year.
The post I liked the most is hard to pick! I think the one on how to look polished every day. As you said in one of your post. That’s my favorite today…tomorrow?
Lol! It was fun looking back over the posts. I enjoy seeing how I’ve grown and changed since I started blogging.
Happy New Year to you and your family!
Happy New Year to you and yours also, Lois!
Tania, I don’t see a blue button at the bottom of today’s post, to fill out your survey. Am I just incredibly dense, or is something not working? I love your blog and am anxious to take the survey!
Judy, it is very hard to spot, that is why I mentioned looking for it. It is under the 50 Is Not Old long banner toward the end of the post.
Happy New Year to you and your family! Great pix of Joe today!! You two are an adorable couple! Enjoy your blog every day!!!
It is hard to get Joe to settle down and take a picture with me. He is always clowning around, so I seldom get photos worthy of sharing. I hope your New Year is off to a great start!
