Navy and white are always winning combos. While black and white can be a little stark as we age, navy is universally flattering. I love this eyelet top! It’s versatile, lined through the body (no tank needed!), and the V-notch neckline elongates the neck beautifully. Tuck it, half-tuck it, or leave it loose—it works every way.

Y’all, I love this Eyelet top! I think it is not only gorgeous, but also versatile since it can be dressed up or down. You could wear this to a doctor’s appointment, to work, or to a day out shopping. I’m wearing it untucked so you can see the length, but it can be tucked, or half-tucked, for anyone wanting their legs to look longer.

The best part is that it is lined through the body of the top. You don’t have to worry about finding a camisole or tank top to wear underneath it. Another plus is the V-neck notch neckline, which helps to elongate your neck.

Cable-Knit Cardigan For A Long, Lean Silhouette

This soft blue cardigan helps create a sleek, vertical line. I love the long, lean silhouette it gives, especially when left open. A column of color underneath adds height, and this cable-knit design feels both classic and current.

I am a sucker for cable knit designs. This beautiful, muted blue Cable Knit Button Cardigan gives me a long, lean silhouette by drawing your eye downward. If you are petite, you’ll want to wear the cardigan open so as not to make your legs look shorter.

Peplum Cardigan To Create Curves

In case you are wondering, I’m 5’6″ tall and weigh between 145-150. I have a straight body type, so I use fashion to create curves. This peplum cardigan does the trick! The waist detail defines my shape, while the flared hem adds softness and movement. It also comes in gray—can’t decide which I like better!

This Button Down Lightweight Cardigan is unusual, and I love the look. The wide band at the waist, and the flowy peplum bottom help to create a waistline for me that doesn’t really exist. Finding great jeans on Amazon has always been tricky, until now! These White Front Pocket Jeans are winners. They’re not see-through, they fit great (I sized up to a 10), and they’re under $40. What’s not to love?

Adding Lily Pulitzer Vibes For Spring and Summer

This cheerful top reminds me of Lilly Pulitzer, but it’s budget-friendly! I’d suggest sizing down if you’re between sizes. Try it tied at the waist with shorts or tucked into jeans for a more tailored vibe.

This Floral Long Sleeve Blouse has some of the Lily Pulitzer vibes, but at a MUCH more affordable price point. I wish I had sized down to a medium, but I think this one will still work with shorts if I tie it in the front.

Of course, tucking the shirt and adding a belt also gives the top a more fitted look.

Colorful and Whimsical

You know that I’ve never been one to shy away from bright colors. Colorful clothing makes me happy, and this top is amazing!

The Watercolor Shirt print shirt looks dreamy. I love the lantern-style sleeves and the fact that the top is lined. The chiffon fabric gives the top a dressier option if you want to wear it with pants or a skirt.

Here is how the shirt looks tucked in, versus wearing it loose. I’m not sure where I bought this belt, but here is a similar 3-pack that includes the beige color as well as one in black and in brown.

Ruffles and Feminine Details For Women Over 50

This is such a sweet, feminine look! I love the ruffled neckline and sleeves, and the floral print just sings “summer.” You can wear this with jeans or dress it up with colored pants.

I love the ruffled sleeves on this summer top, and the color is gorgeous. A V-Neck is my preferred neckline, but the little ruffle at the neckline of this top looks so feminine that I couldn’t resist. I’m wearing a large, and I’m happy with this size.

Striped Button-Up Shirt For Spring and Summer

Stripes are trending for spring and summer this year, and this top is so soft and silky! It runs a bit big, so I recommend sizing down if you’re in between sizes.

This cute top reminds me of my Aunt T for some reason. I think it is the muted blue color and the stripes; she LOVED wearing stripes. This Short Sleeve Summer Top is very lightweight and silky, but I think it runs a little large. I’m wearing a medium, and I think a smaller size would have fit me better. If you are between sizes, then I suggest you size down in this top.
