50 IS NOT OLD | I WORE SEERSUCKER AS A CHILDNo, I am not wearing this outfit in Alaska. Lol! I had this picture taken before I left so I decided to go ahead and put it on the blog. It was too hard trying to take pictures and edit them, write the post, and get everything done in one day. So, I am having a throwback Thursday post. Hahaha! 50 IS NOT OLD | I WORE SEERSUCKER AS A CHILDI got up early this morning and the fog hadn’t even risen yet. I couldn’t see across the water it was so thick. A cruise ship was leaving port but I couldn’t even see it. I knew it was leaving because it gave three long blasts on a horn to let everyone know that it was pulling out. After about an hour the fog lifted and I watched another cruise ship dock. It is so peaceful sitting here in the morning watching the eagles fly over, the boats going up and down the channel, and drinking a cup of coffee. The only thing that would make it better is if it was warmer and I could sit out on the deck.50 IS NOT OLD | I WORE SEERSUCKER AS A CHILDThis is quite a change from the other outfits I have had on this week. I can’t imagine going sleeveless here in Juneau. Lol! I bought this Ellen Tracey linen top last year. I think what I liked about it was the gold details. I think the gold really pops against the darker blue of the linen top. The two flap pockets added a little extra visual interest to the top, simple details can make a big difference. I wore this top last month and you can see how versatile a top like this can be. The look then was completely different. (here) If you are on a limited clothing budget you need to try to purchase items that you can wear often. You can easily change the look on a top like this to make it not look like you are wearing the same top over and over. Adding a jacket or a sweater would give you another look since you wouldn’t be able to see that the top was sleeveless.

50 IS NOT OLD | I WORE SEERSUCKER AS A CHILD My Ashton earrings really matched this top quite well. I love the length of these earrings and they are not real heavy at all. Since the gold zipper went down the front of the shirt I decided to wear a shorter necklace that would sit in the neck opening. The Jefra is a simple gold bar that has a letter stamped monogram. This is a perfect necklace for layering. The Bailey bracelet is turquoise and coral colors. I love that it is magnetic and is easy to put on. You can go shopping at Plunderdesign.com/taniastephens and choose a party that has Tania in it. 50 IS NOT OLD | I WORE SEERSUCKER AS A CHILDThe striped blue and white crop pants are from Cato’s Fashions. I like the look of these pants because they look like seersucker. Who remembers wearing seersucker as a child? I wore these pants back in May (here) and I will probably wear them several more times this year. I wanted to dress the outfit up a little so I wore these Marc Fisher wedge cork heels. I love the gold rings, they dress the shoes up a bit.

    This outfit is adorable.
I enjoy sitting outside in the mornings drinking coffee.
Here in the Carolinas it has been too hot to do that if you don’t get out before 7 am.
    Enjoy your day.
