YARD SALE FINDS
I want to say that I am thrilled that I got in a new computer!!! I am doing my happy dance because I have been looking and looking for a new computer. I knew that I wanted to get a Mac laptop but that was as much as I knew. I looked at the brand new Mac laptop but it didn’t come with a SD card slot or any USB slots and with the blog I really needed those items. You can buy an adapter but I didn’t want that hassle.
There is a learning curve anytime you change computers even if it is just a software update. However when you completely change computers it is crazy. I spent an hour uploading and downloading apps and programs that I had on my other computer. One of the things that I hadn’t planned on being an issue was the iPhotos. If you are looking at these pictures and thinking they look different it is because I have not learned how to navigate the adjust features of the photos. I can see that they look too dark and I should have lightened then a little more. I will learn but I can tell you that my sister is getting a call today. She is a photographer and has a Mac so she is my go-to person. She may be the little sister but I rely on her immensely.
At least my jewelry looks good even if it is too dark. I love this cross necklace (Nellie) but I had lost it for a long time. I had just finally decided that I was going to break down and order it again when I found it. It had fallen off the necklace rack I have and was under the dresser. I don’t know why I didn’t think to look there. Lol! You all know about my BELIEVE necklace. I bought it in Georgia at a little tea shop on the square. It is by Monarch Inspirations and I found that brand on Amazon.
This tunic is one that I bought at a yard sale when I went to Georgia to visit. I think I paid 5.00 for this and since I have worn it twice I think that it has already paid for itself. I don’t know if this print reminds me of southwestern prints or if it looks like Owl-Eyes. What do you think? I wore a pair of dark gray tights under the tunic and finished off the look with a pair of mid-rise boots. These are a pair c/o Rialto. Here was where I wore them last year. These boots are called the Coras Tobacco Boot and they also come in black. I like the 3/4 length of this boot. It is not a bootie and it is not a knee boot, it is somewhere in between.
Between the weather and the new computer I have a raging headache. I am sorry this post is short, but my head is killing me. I am off to bed without supper, I can’t stand the thoughts of eating. I sure hope tomorrow is better because it starts with a payroll audit. How wonderful is that? Lol!
I want to thank those of you who commented that you wanted the R & F sample packs and I will be emailing you soon, it has just been crazy busy and I haven’t had time to do the emails. I want to do them all at once so that I don’t leave anyone out. I also wanted to remind everyone that the Rodan & Fields “Lash Boost Bundle Deal” will be ending soon. This is a 20% discount on the purchase of a regimen of your choice and a Lash Boost bundle. If you signup as a Preferred Customer (or already are one) then you will receive another 10% discount. The enrollment fee to become a Preferred Customer is 19.95 and I will reimburse that back to you PLUS I will send you a mini eye cream. This is a pretty sweet deal! Don’t let the ship sail without you. I saw this on FaceBook today and thought it was really cute.

Love this outfit, Tania!!!!! Hope that headache is gone by now and that you will have all the computer issues sorted out soon!!!!!!!
Love this outfit. I also love your hair lately! Hope you feel better soon.
Thanks, Susan. I have been letting my hair grow out.
You look lovely today Tania! Love that tunic! What brand is it? The turquoise jewelery compliments the tunic so nicely. ?
I love my Mac, so once you get adjusted, I think you will be really happy with it. I love your dress! Even though, I have a much fuller figure than you, I can see that dress working on so many body types. Adorable!

It’s amazing all of the things to consider when switching technology. I was just thinking about changing my theme—and wowza–it’ll take me all weekend!!

Tania, good luck with your new technology and thank you for always showing us midlife gurls to have fun and try new things! ?
Teaching an old dog new tricks is never easy. Lol! I am slowly learning the new computer.
Love that tunic.
Mac is great but it drives me crazy after working on a business computer all day however, my husband has one and he is a photographer so he has all these fancy software for photography. The end results are beautiful but the process is painful ?. At this time of year I get sinus headaches when the weather is rainy or cold/hot in a matter of hours so Advil Cold and Sinus to the rescue (the good stuff you buy at the pharmacy counter). Good luck with the audit!
I love my Mac!!! I am not good with editing photos though. I need to take a course designed toward Mac. I have photoshop but I don’t even bother to try to open it. Lol!
I love everything about this outfit Tania, another favourite. I hope your head has cleared, I swear by lavender oil. I put a couple of drops onto a tissue and inhale a couple of times. It helps me sleep too.
Wow moving from Mac to another computer – so brave dear!!!
Have a fab day – today is my 2nd Day in Milan. Will have lots of news soon. Saw 5 shows, 3 showrooms yesterday and walked for miles!
LOL Yvonne
